ive done a similar au before with the terror- [i like putting characters in situations as you can see] but this time instead of remembering their past life and being fundamentally changed by it this au is more abt like. a repeating cycle. this one has a happier end than their previous life bc um u see. i like the idea that some fix-it elements could only happen IN another life.
I dont really have super solid elements other than the fact that charles isnt part of the van der linde gang this time around, his and arthur's occupations, and the strange man has a hand in it bc i dont think we utilise him enough as a fandom.
Also there's the extensive feeling of grief and deja vu that permeates a lot of these characters lives this time around- they have no memories of their past lives but on a subconcious level are still haunted by them tee hee
