I have now read the third trials of apollo with mention a khanda (which is a sword often associated with the sikh religion), which is so far the only MENTION of india

I have a burning hatred for the face i do not see myself in media, or many people like me. In the rick riordan verse, there are so many diverse characters, but i cannot name you a single character that, book wise, (THAT I KNOW OF) who is my ethnicity. The closest representation I can think of is Grover from the series, as the actor is south asian. However it really is disheartening when I never see any north Indian characters.

Sorry if this is a bit off topic, but whenever world book day would come over, little me would DREAD it knowing i would never be able to come in as a popular character, who was actually from same descent as me, and it is a real shame that people have to feel that way, when all representation takes, is a character design and a few traits.

Frazel age gap is very confusing, no matter what’s happening, but i’d rather believe Hazel is 15 and Frank is 16

Because I know it is often a topic of confusion, allow me to break something down:

Hazel was a.) born 1928 and b.) moved to Alaska on her 13th birthday. She then lived in Alaska for six months before she died. Hazel did not die ON her 13th birthday, she died in JUNE (approximately).

She was then revived in approximately early September following TLO, when the Doors of Death open. Son of Neptune takes place in June, ten months later. This means Hazel is about 14 and a quarter in SoN, having technically turned 14 in about February.

Frank had just turned 16 in SoN, meaning Hazel and Frank are roughly a year and eight months apart. Hazel saying that Frank is three years older than her in SoN is just a blatant error, and this is doubly confirmed in Tyrant's Tomb when Hazel is 15 and Frank is still 16.
