The Evermore Grimoire: Potions

Moon Pool Water is sea water that's magically charged by the power of a full moon and can only be found in Moon Pools. Once charged the water glows bright blue making it attractive to the eye even at first glance. The moon pool and its waters were once protected by mermaids and sea witches as its magical properties were used to heal their wounds and ailments. The power of the water is so potent that no more than two drops on an open wound will instantly heal it. On other magical beings though, the healing affects are less potent but nonetheless still highly affective for those in need of a quick fix. It's believed that moon pool water combined with a drop of mermaid's blood will grant any mortal the ability to swim underwater and manoeuvre against the strongest of currents with ease, but only for 12 hours. On a magical being, it can advance their own magical powers, and the more blood you add, the longer the affects will last. However if moon pool water is left exposed to daylight for more than 24 hours, the affects can be catastrophic on any being who absorbs it.

The Evermore Grimoire: Heaven

Valhalla (Valhǫll) is where all men who died with honour in battle go to until Ragnarǫk, the Fate of the Gods in Norse mythology. This golden fortress is Ódin’s hall. Reaching Valhalla was a goal for most Norse warriors and was also called the ‘Viking Heaven.’ When men died in the midst of battle on Earth, the Valkyries would come for them and bring them to Valhalla for the last battle. They would be made immortal and trained against each other for the whole day. At the end of the day, those wounded would be healed and those who fought would part as friends. By night drank they mead and sang to Ódin. They were known as Einherjar.

The Evermore-Grimoire: Elemental Powers

Chlorokinesis is the power to create, shape, move, control, interact and manipulate plants. The being with this power can even control and manipulate wood, rock soil, roots, fruits, flowers and even moss found in a natural field or habitat. They can use this power either defensively or offensively and can cause flowers and other plants to bloom instantaneously, manipulate tree branches to use them as whip-like weapons, control spores and pollen and even bring plants back to life. They can also have their enemies ensnared in plants, or even telepathically communicate with plant life and vegetation; an ability known as ‘green-speaking.’
