Pointless things I noticed about exorcist wings:

We know from Lute and Vaggie’s faces that not every exorcist is like, an exact clone of eachother, they’re all different with different faces, hair, eyes, etc.

So it’s very bizarre to me to think that every single one of these fucks has the EXACT same wings. ALL of them.

But!! I noticed: Vaggie when she was an exorcist did have the same wings (exept she had only one black stripe, which is cool but irrelevant). BUT when she grew them back, they were white, with no stripe. There was a very faint hue of the stripe but it was like, mostly gone.

This leads me to believe: the black parts of the exorcists wings are dyed. We can assume Vaggies wings grew back in their natural state, like how hair does when dyed, and your roots grow back their natural colour. So if we imagine it’s similar for them all, they probably all had similar generic white wings. And the dye is part of the uniform.

I mean, an argument against is that vaggies wings grew back like that as some sort of symbolism/result of leaving the exorcists instead , but like….let me have this, they’re both as likely options as eachother

I don’t think Adams wings are dyed, I think that’s natural cause Abel has the same and has no reason why they should’ve been dyed. But, if for instance Lute were to become the leader, she could probably stop dying her wings with black stripes and get them gold too, as a status thing.

This means and changes nothing, but I think it’s neat.
