officially no, buuuut with the abandoned mall being a hot spot for teen hangouts it was bound to happen eventually. 

the connection was instantaneous though. in the eyes of dunn, an inexperienced and anxious guy who was desperate to prove his worth at the department, dave seemed like a “wild and carefree soul” to him. of course, he was completely oblivious to what dave really was until his last moments
