One of the Salaf said, "Whenever my daily portion of Qur'an would increase,

زادت البركة في وقتي the barakah in my time would increase."

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said

"Whoever is inspired to make du’a has been destined for an answer."

Continue praying even when you don't feel like it. Raise your hands up in Dua even when you feel you have no energy left, emotionally or spiritually. Push yourself to open the Quran though you feel helpless, dejected and broken.

For indeed, little drops of water make a mighty ocean. These small efforts will increase your good deeds in unimaginable ways. It's these small efforts that will help remove the rust from your heart, erase your sins, and strengthen your fight against the Shaytan. So, keep going. 🤍

Just like in the stories of the Prophets, non-materialistic blessings can also be envied. The way you are so sure about the guidance of God, in the middle of everyone's uncertainty. The way you have vivid dreams that make you feel like God is directly speaking to you, and reassuring you. The way you're ok with walking alone while everyone is so stressed about fitting in. The way you reject modern values because yours stem from God. The way you are so content with little, while everyone is constantly in the chase for more. The way people admire you and see you as a role model, even though you don't have a dime to your name. Many are blessed in not what they own, but in who God created them to be. And all the material wealth in the world could never honor you, in the way God's favor can honor you.

- التهجد هُوَ الأَمَلِ حِينَمَا يَبْدُو كُلُّ شَيْءٍ بَائِسًا

- 𝐓𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐣𝐣𝐮𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬.

"يعطيك وانت عاصٍ

افيحرمك وانت مقبل عليه؟

ثق بالله فقط."

He Gives you while you are disobedient

Will He then deprive you while you are turning to Him?

Just put your trust in Allah.

Yusuf عليه السلام knew that all the doors were closed. And yet, he ran towards them because he knew Allah would open them for him. If all the doors seem closed to you, keep running. For you and Yusuf عليه السلام have the same Allah.

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

"Be pleased with everything that Allah does with you. For indeed He does not prevent you except to give you. He does not test you except to protect and save you. He does not give you ill health except to cure you. He does not give you death except to give life to you.

So beware of not being pleased with Him even for the blink of an eye. Such that you fall in His eye."

إِنْ كُنْتَ قَدْ فَوَّضْتَ أَمْرَكَ إِلَى اللَّهِ،

If you have entrusted your affairs to Allah,

فَلِمَ تَخَفْ أَوْ تَقْلَقُ؟

Then why are you worried or fearful?

أَمَا تَعْلَمُ مَنْ هُوَ اللَّهُ؟

Do you not know who Allah is?

Allah has created everything so flawless, this takes me back to thinking how beautiful my creator will be ? Subhan Allah! I can’t believe i captured Jupiter right above the moon, it’s splendid Subhan Allah 🌒 🌕
