If there's Moon Dragons, then you've gotta have Sun Dragons as well! Would there also be Eclipse Dragons? Oh... or would the event of a solar eclipse have some sorta... anomalous effect on both groups of creatures? I wonder if Nervo was thinking they'd be sentient here?
