Presentation Feedback
Visual Literacies
I had a solid and intriguing idea from the outset, yet I still allowed for it to breathe and develop. Overall it seems I have good ideas about bending reality in different ways through my three projects. It is a strong and professional start.
Digital Media Concepts
Originally, when viewed on my blog, my two final pieces seemed bland and basic. However, seeing my work in context aside my other projects allowed for it to be enjoyed and appreciated more. I have a very obvious creative style and originality seen throughout my three modules.
Elementary Animation
My original sketches and basic animations all share a very strong and creative style. After discussing the motivations and reactions in my main character, the emotions have been well captured and portrayed in my final animation and animatic. I should try to avoid sign-posting and make sure the audience fully understand the character and their motivations. I should also try not to lose the character and style that I had in my early sketches and animations in my final piece.

These are my two final outcomes for my creative response to the module. I am very pleased with the results of my work. Even though the styles of each one are different, they are still connected through the idea of seeing things differently that what they really are.
I feel like this module has opened my mind and is allowing me to take in the world in different ways than I did before. Seeing the different ways that the designers and artists interpret the world inspired me to explore how I could interpret the world too.

This is the planning document for my creative response. I took my favourite photos and sketched my ideas on top of them so I could choose my favourites to develop into my final pieces.

For my creative response, I went around Dundee taking pictures that I could then overlay with glasses and edit to create some interesting final pieces.

I did some research exploring the idea for my creative response and found these reference photos to help inspire my own creative pieces.

This is my original sketch for my creative response. I was inspired by the presentations and all the different designers and artists I learned about. This pushed me to start looking at the world through new eyes, or a new lense, hense the glasses.

To prepare for writing my critique on the game Journey (2012) I replayed the game while taking notes on such things as atmosphere, colour, tone, the soundtrack and my immediate reaction to these elements of the game so I could produce a more accurate and representative critique.
