Obi-Wan is the cinnamon bun that can totally kill you but probably won't because he has standards. :P

Hello, Anon! Obi-Wan may not kill you but he has absolutely no qualms about dismembering you and leaving you for dead.

I’m sorry, but I honestly cannot see Obi-Wan Kenobi as a “cinnamon bun.” Like… not even a teeny tiny bit.

Obi-Wan dismembers more living creatures than any other Star Wars character.

He cuts Darth Maul in half. Like… holy fuck, people. Obi-Wan Kenobi cuts another living creature IN HALF!!! That is insane!

He severs multiple limbs in Attack of the Clones:

He cuts off both Anakin’s legs and one of his arms in Revenge of the Sith… and then just leaves him there:

And in A New Hope, his instinctual response to Luke getting harassed at the Mos Eisley cantina is to immediately chop the harasser’s arm off:

And this doesn’t even begin to cover how totally un-cinnamon bun he is during The Clone Wars.

He nearly beats a Mandalorian assassin to death (completely understandable… I mean, the guy did threaten to kill Kenobi’s girlfriend):

He fucking Force crushes a bunch of droids (a technique many Jedi consider kind of a big “no no”):

He stands there and smiles while Rex skewers Keeper Agruss:

And don’t even get me started on the duel from “Revival.” For fuck sake… Kenobi nearly strait-up murders Savage Opress:

And later he once again CHOPS OFF AN ARM:

Now, don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying Obi-Wan was unjustified in any of these circumstances. That’s not the argument I’m trying to make. The point is, Obi-Wan Kenobi is not a cinnamon bun. He’s a badass mother fucker who doesn’t waste time splitting hairs. I know a lot of people will disagree with me and will defend Obi-Wan as a fucking cinnamon bun to their dying breath… I am not one of those people, but to each his own. I believe Kenobi is a snarky, sometimes ruthless spiritual warrior. He has anger and he has tender hearted feelings as well. He’s flawed and that’s what makes him interesting.

I 100% respect differing opinions (hopefully if you’ve been following my blog you know everyone is welcome here); variety is what makes life worth living. So if you want to think of Obi-Wan Kenobi as a warm, gooey, ball of cinnamon, butter, and frosting, then by all means, treat yo’self! Just don’t be surprised if he cuts off your pastry-covered hand and leaves you for dead on a bakery floor somewhere in the outer rim.

Before I got to see Clone Wars and Rebels I was reading sad because we didn’t get to see more of this epic villain due to his limited time onscreen. But now .....

I laughed so hard during that scene. Mando is ready to destroy those bitches but he sees that huge canon and then he’s like oKaY, which translates to fuuuck. It was the beginning of the series and we thought mando was all serious with his bounty hunter job but at that scene we got to know him better. At least I felt more familiar with his personality.

Do not self-destruct! We’re shooting our way out.

I didn’t need to cry today

I was trying to redraw that scene in ANH where Obi-Wan saves Luke and ended up drawing something completely different. Guess it’s kinda like an au where Obi-Wan raises Luke and shares a ton of stories through the years about all the adventures he and Anakin went on and all the dangerous situations Anakin managed to get them in–and Anakin, unfortunately, isn’t around to defend himself.

ok. I have been silent but it is time. let’s talk about the magnitude of the double crossing, double agents and straight up fuckery that’s going on here. 

a team of bounty hunters have been order by dooku to abduct chancellor sheev palpatine. 

dooku has been ordered by darth sidious to carry out this plan. 

dooku has tasked a team of bounty hunters with the job of completing the abduction. 

obi-wan has been sent undercover as a bounty hunter to assist in the abduction. 

only the jedi council and sheev palpatine know the bounty hunter rako hardeen is actually obi-wan. 

obi-wan will act to prevent the abduction from the inside. 

the abduction of sheev palpatine. 

which was order by sheev palpatine. 

because darth sidious is sheev plapatine. 

sheev palpatine knows all of this is taking place. 

sheev palpatine arranged his own abuduction. 

sheev palpatine then placed a double agent to prevent his abduction. 

the abduction he ordered in the first place. 

sheevception.
