Living with regret or dying with it... • • Which is worse? 🤔 • • Both are equally bone chilling thoughts to me and I don’t wish this upon any human being. • • We often forget that we spend so much time living our life, intending on doing specific tasks on attaining our goals in fitness, our careers, travel, and relationships. • • But why... why... don’t we act on those intentions. I’ve personally had frequent intentions to continually drive myself to achieve one thing or the other but I either never come around to doing it, or I FAIL! 🤷♀️ 🤷🏼♂️ The truth is we know that we need to hold ourselves accountable and at times having someone there to help us do that, is all that is necessary to achieve the true success we seek. • • I’ve come to the realization that I’m an overachiever and my prime focus is to be an optimal performer in all areas of life. So I’ve honed in on my strengths, created friendships, sought out mentorships, and am looking to develop my weaknesses. • • We all need support, mentorship, or coaching in different parts of our lives, the key is to seek out and look for help, to establish an understanding and the independence to effectively become what we strive for. • • Unfortunately, multitasking makes things difficult and sometimes we need another human being to keep us focused, on track, and accountable to our own goals. • • We all need a coach! If you’re looking to accomplish goals in any area of your life, specifically fitness and nutrition there is help to see you become successful. If you want balance in that journey. I look forward to showing you how it’s possible. • • Don’t be that person that is on their death bed and has regret. Live with intention, live with serious success, live without regret and change your life now!👊🏻💯 (at Edmonton, Alberta)

Why do I hate the word, “Diet!” • • Society has made the word “diet” have a negative correlation to it, in whatever context you try to utilize it in , the thought process of most is that if your conscious about your meals and your food intake then you’re either hungry, have hunger pangs, or just crazy. • • The truth is that your daily intake, your lifestyle, and your self love is all dependent on your meal programs (diet)and how you fuel your body. We focus on our food and we need to find that balance to both enjoy it and keep your body at its finest. Remember, it is the temple that runs your body and you want to keep it beating and performing at its best, you want it to run like clockwork and to the best of its abilities. • • The dictionary defines, “diet” as the kind of food a person habitually eats, such as the selection of foods or snacks. • • Flexible eating or “dieting” allows for you to change your habits and provide you with a plethora of choices to allow for satisfaction as well keeping your body properly primed to make it run effectively. • • The word diet doesn’t need to always be associated with something negative but rather something exciting and tasty. • • This is me enjoying my diet the other evening. 🙌🏻 (at Edmonton, Alberta)

Are you at a crossroads in your life? • • Is your lifestyle struggling? Are you lacking motivation to hit the gym? Lost with how to manage a well balanced nutritious meal program? Perhaps you are trying and your nutrition and training are not going hand in hand and you’re not seeing the success or the results you desire? • • Creating and developing a strategy that works for success in fitness is important but it needs to be tailored specifically to your goals as well to your body. One size definitely does not fit all and different strategies are going to work for different people. • • I’ve seen a lot of cookie cutter programs where coaches main focus is for the client is to sign up and quickly qualify them to a program for a certain amount of time, and eventually continue stringing them along. • • I personally do not believe in this which is why I ask that my clients fill out a personal focused questionnaire/application so I can assess their goals, and manage expectations. I don’t even talk about programs until after we decide that you will qualify based on your goals and our expectations of each other. I want people to succeed and if you are willing to apply yourself then it is a no brainer, if we align, then we will succeed together. • • Values are important and monumental to your journey. Ones person picture of being happy in their fitness goals is going to be different than someone else’s. One person will be ok with being 10-11% body fat and another will not want to get to the 6-7% because of the way they will feel and know it personally won’t make them happy. • • What’s important to you is the question? • • My goal is to not just be your coach but rather to know your focus, the purpose of your journey and how I can get you there. I want to know what drives you to get there and my number 1 priority is your success. • • Comment or DM me if your interested in filling out a form to see if we can work together. I look forward to helping you succeed. 👊🏻 (at Edmonton, Alberta)

Hey friends 👋🏻 • For those of you who don’t have a clue who I am and may be interested, I wanted to share a few things about me. • • I’m passionate, I’m a Gemini born at the beginning of June, and I have an extreme hunger for life. . Some would consider me a weirdo, abrasive, perhaps even an ass! I feel like perhaps at time I’m all of the above but I’m also compassionate, empathetic, and love to connect with others. . My pursuit of growth and achievement is unwavering and ongoing. I continue to learn, to fail, fail in abundance, so that one day I WIN! . I’ve got a history in the trades as a B pressure welder 👨🏼🏭 I’ve also gone to University and a Bachelors degree in Business. The irony in that is that I opened a food preparation business a couple years ago that failed, I currently sell luxury cars, and am working on building my online coaching business to help the busy human being. . The person that wants to be fit, travel, and enjoy life but also feel healthy, look great, and have that self confidence they are looking for. . I’m motivated, but I’m also a student of life willing to get knocked down because I’ll never stay there. . I’ve been into fitness for as long as I can remember, I would say 14. I’ve always wanted to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger and I have a ton of respect for anyone who has ever body-built, competed, and prepped. I know the difficulty and respect it immensely. . I myself have completed in 2 bodybuilding shows, won my first and placed 3rd at my second. It had taught me plenty about myself and my strengths and weaknesses. . My fitness goals are to stay healthy and fit because it needs to be a balance of feeling good and having fun. . I love travel, eat, train, and I want to grow in every possible facet that’s available to me. . My life is a rollercoaster and for most that know me know it’s been a wild ride. . I’ve battled with depression, was once addicted to drugs, and had difficulty with an eating disorder, I’ve experienced a bit of ups and downs in my life and want to help those that perhaps have been where I was, feeling crippled by life does not need to be permanent. I’m here to tell you the best is yet to come (at Victoria, British Columbia)

You may think MACROS are MICRO but you need to understand them to succeed!💪🏻👊🏻 • • 🍚 🥖 🍩 Carbs are king! Meaning that we all love them and I understand that they are the tastiest of the 3, at least I think so, although I'm sure I am also one of the biggest meat eaters around! But I digress, carbohydrates are the fastest acting macronutrient for transferring 🏃 energy to your body, they are so fast that our body doesn’t like to store them for too long. This means that if we are in need of glucose for energy immediately then we are best to get it from our meals, if you are on a low carb programs then we can still utilize them from our proteins and fats. • • 😴 Ever get tired because you haven’t eaten anything and you immediately feel better after carbs but quickly go into a carb coma? Its because your pancreas is working way too hard to send insulin to all parts of the body, and then leaves you feeling tired or cranky. Low carb programs may make you feel sluggish and less motivated as well because the liver doesn’t have enough glucose stored to ship it out to the brain 🧠, but ketones eventually take on this responsibility and individuals may feel more focused and invigorated because they have adapted and developed ketone bodies that supply the transfer of nutrients when glucose is low and not available, this can always be a different experience for every person. • • 🐟 🐡 🐠 Fats are just as important as they promote the regulation of our hormones in our body, especially our post workouts as they release epinephrine/norepinephrine, growth hormone, and transport vitamins and minerals. Most fats are transported as triglycerides and are made up of three fatty acid molecules… SAY WHAT? 🧐 • • Epinephrin and norepinephrine are hormones that respond to your “fight or flight” senses and promote the glycogen breakdown. 👊🏻 • • If you ever feel the need to stimulate these hormones by utilizing fat burning supplements such as caffeine ☕️ to release the fatty acids into the bloodstream for energy... • • Continued Below 👇🏻👇🏻 (at Vancouver, British Columbia)

How to get fit? When to get fit?💪🏻 • • ANSWER…YESTERDAY!👊🏻 • • What are you waiting for? 🤔 • • Historically, men would go out into the wild and work all day, hunt, and eat what they caught in the evening. Now it may be known as the “Warriors Diet.” Most people now believe that in order to develop a healthy and fit regime in our daily lives there has to be a well thought out balance in order for our bodies to be affected in a positive way and for our energy to be optimal for our daily routines. This is true and always will be but it will be different based on each person and their lifestyle goals. • • Remember, there are different variations of this balance as some will make your energy systems be more efficient and effective with exercise and others will diminish the longevity of these energy systems with improper training or malnutrition. As a coach and nutrition specialist I pride myself on understanding how different body types and different goals need to be adjusted based on a different individual and what they are seeking to accomplish. The busy professional, the wanderlust traveller, the newbie lifter, or the experienced powerlifter/bodybuilder have one common goal and that is to be better than yesterday and the day before that. (HOPEFULLY) It is always exciting hearing how people are looking forward to changing their lives for the better and developing new habits that will benefit them in the long run. • • I encourage anyone that has been putting off their health and fitness to take a moment and understand that if you don’t have your health, you do not have anything. The old adage, “health is wealth,” has never been more true than it is today. We have the potential to live long lives in todays day and age and with the trainer literally coming to you and being at your finger tips, there truly is no better time than NOW! • • With my oversight and my knowledge I intend on helping many new clients with the way that I believe works best, although it has proven to work for me and some of my close family and friends, (no I don’t use the same program on each person) • • Continued below 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 (at Edmonton, Alberta)

Cheers! 🍷 • • 🙏🏻As I get more in tune with myself, I have come to the realization that life is truly beautiful. I feel as though I was always chasing something in the past and never really stopped and enjoyed life’s moments. I do believe that goals are our everyday breath, struggles are lessons manifested to make you a stronger human, failures are opportunities, and the ambition you carry is the fuel to your fire, the fuel that drives your strengths to overcome any self-doubt. • • 🙏🏻We are blessed, blessed to be here each and every day and blessed to live in a country that allows us to fail, and fail, and fail. Failing forward is the key, many of you know that I have failed over and over again in my journey to getting to where I hope to be one day. (I’m still not there…nowhere close) Whether it was in fitness, business, academia, and relationships… I was never perfect and never will be, but I will continue to truly believe in myself and continue to strive to reach those goals and so should you!👊🏻 • • 👎🏻I know some of you out there may be in a dark place… A place that you think you will never leave or a place that you think you can never escape, trust me when I say there are better days ahead. I remember being unfit, unhealthy, unmotivated, unreliable, and just never really had the will to win in life. • • UNTIL…I DID!💪🏻 • 🙌🏻When you realize what makes you tick, what makes you truly feel good, feel happy, no person, no difficulty, no comment, nothing can take away that peace. When you start caring more about yourself than you do about the opinion of others, you are officially FREE! • • FREE to live life on your terms and create that body you have strived for, go on that vacation you have saved for, leave that job you hate, and ask that girl/guy who you have been crushing on out on a date! 😍 • • 😁Be positive, because it’s the best way to live, I don’t know about you but that is who I prefer to spend my time with. Drinks🍸🍹🍷 • • Can we enjoy them and still be fit? Absolutely... Remember we are here to live life in balance! • • I mean everything in moderation is important so don’t think that you could be drinking everyday, have a 6 pack of beer after work and somehow still develop a 6 pack you’re looking for😂💪🏻. • • Did you know you can count alcohol in as macros? • • Each gram of alcohol is 7 kcal and can still be consumed if you desire to utilize the flexible dieting program. This allows for those Friday night drinks with friends from the office, wine at dinner with your wife, or that beer during the football game with the guys! • • Remember, we are busy with our careers, our life at home, but it’s still important to maintain your sanity and enjoy those finer things. • • Tag your friends who enjoy to go out for drinks after work!👊🏻 (at Edmonton, Alberta)

Balance! • • If it fits your macros (IIFYM), why do I love it, and why it’s a lifestyle and not a fad diet. Although it has become a way of life for me, there are many people still out there who think that restricting their habits or their calories are the only way to see success in their fitness goals. I believe that the traditional restriction in your diet is the new FAD diet and IIFYM and intermittent fasting (IF) are the new lifestyle diets to live a life of happiness. • • I am here to tell you that I was once the person who was obsessed about my body and didn’t believe there was any other way, I have finally seen the light. Living for me means achieving my goals and maintaining a balance within my lifestyle, training, food, and of course fun! I believe that originally I was so focused on my “diet” that I forgot to live my life, how does this make any sense, I don’t understand what I was thinking. IIFYM and IF saved my sanity and it changed my outlook on what is truly important. • • As many people in their careers or life have many things going on to reach new heights and develop strengths outside of the gym, IIFYM created a sense of balance for me and mitigated my obsession in the gym, while still achieving personal goals outside of the gym. If you’re like me and your pursuing goals in your career, your relationships, and the gym this allows for just that. SUCCESS! • • ✈️ If you enjoy to travel but love to live a life of health and fitness, then this is for you. • • 😃 If you enjoy being happy and want to have a clear mind with a positive outlook, then this is for you. • • 👊🏻If you enjoy to see results in all areas of your life, then this is for you! Are you a traveller that enjoys to visit new places, check out historical monuments, and go on tours? 🌍 . The world is full of amazing places and I’m definitely planning on checking out more myself. . A past struggle has always been on how I can eat healthier, exercise, and get all the nutrients necessary to still succeed in my fitness goals while I enjoy my travels ✈️. . Intermittent fasting in combination with flexible dieting has provided me with the opportunity to still see the world but also stay healthy, fit, and have tons of energy to be the wanderlust traveller I intend on being 💼 📷. . Truthfully, you can wake up each morning have a coffee, go be a tourist without rushing and by the afternoon or early evening you’re set and ready for that meal . . It took a lot of worry and planning out of my day and I could just focus on what I was there to visit, take pictures, and join tours of what I was interested in. . If you’re anything like me and absolutely see the value in travel along with having specific fitness goals. You will love the results of intermittent fasting in combination with the flexible diet. . Your success is a no brainer with this lifestyle 🙌🏻👊🏻 (at Vatican Museums - Musei Vaticani)

Instinctual eating during the feeding phase of fasting🙌🏻 • • When you decide to jump onto a fasting program along with a flexible diet you’ll notice that during your busy morning and throughout lunch, the primary goal is no longer to focus on what’s for breakfast or lunch but rather you can focus on being productive with your day until the afternoon or evening depending on your feeding cycle. 🍴 • • The goals that are accomplished during the feeding phase allow for: • • 🔥Boosting your metabolism 🔥Replenishing energy reserves 🔥Nourishment for the body and mind while providing satiety and satisfaction 🔥Repair tissue and builds muscle 🔥Experience of guilt free eating 🔥Opportunity to retrain on how to eat instinctively • • Think about it, you can spend your full day at work go have an unreal workout come home and start your feeding cycle, now if you need it adapted to your goals. There are always ways to make it specific so you see the results you’re looking for. • • There is no need for traditional crash diets or restrictions. History has shown the effectiveness of these programs and I intend on showing you all how great they all for the body but most importantly the mind 🧠 (at Edmonton, Alberta)

What are your thoughts in the morning? 🤔 • • I woke up this morning and wondered why I’ve had so many different conversations that are usually started with a focus on your career, or whether you’re married, have kids, or if you have a house. Is life a race? Has anyone ever just asked if you if you’re happy? 😃😊 • • If you aren’t, what will it take to get you there? • • These are questions I have asked myself for years and I consider the alternative moving forward and promise myself to live a life of constant growth and happiness. • I have goals and prefer to make them happen rather than live with regret and question “what if?” (at Edmonton, Alberta)

Are you living your life they way you want to? 🙌🏻 • • 😴 When I ask you that question I mean do you wake up each and every morning excited to jump out of bed? Are you putting in the effort necessary to accomplish the goals you have set out for yourself? Would you say you utilize your potential to grind each day and night at work or at home to see those goals come to fruition? Are you happy with your outlook on life, your job, the purpose of your existence, and what value I you offer to the world? Do you believe you are capable of more and have a burning desire inside you to do more? What is your WHY? • • For many of us this is the underlying question to our existence, to our happiness, and more importantly, to the road we decide to take moving forward. 🤔We all make our own choices but many of us (including me) continue to struggle with our path in life because we get complacent and comfortable in the moment. But why? Perhaps its human nature, I am not very sure.🧐 • • My guess… We fear the unknown! • • Until recently, I stopped betting on my strengths, and instead focused on new challenges, or looked at my weaknesses as a bad thing. 👎🏻 Self awareness along with self development have become key components for the fuel behind my motivated state.⛽️ Each separate journey in my life has taught me valuable lessons which is why I believe they were placed in front of me. To teach me, to help me grow, and to create the man I'm becoming. Each and every day I wake up grateful to learn something new, to read something interesting, and make one more step into the right direction. • • Getting out of my comfort zone and posting with some of my insights like this, meeting new people, travelling, and taking leaps of faith such as new career has been my ongoing search for finding my WHY! • • Not sure abut you but when it comes to betting on anything, I rather it be on myself. 💰 Hindsight is always going to be 20/20, but the future is unknown so remember that we all have the power to make amazing things happen to ourselves, with the hard work, desire, and proper guidance we can exceed at whatever we wish. . . The guilt! Do you still feel guilty after a that burger, pizza, or that glass of wine?🍔 🍷 🍕 • • 🤔 I can still remember how I would reminisce about how great the burger tasted but for some reason the first thing I did in the morning was a quick AB check 💪🏻 to ensure they were still there or jump on the scale to see how much my weight increase. What kind of crazy person enjoys every bite of their meal and then all of a sudden, is extremely concerned about the look of their body? Well I can tell you, I enjoyed the meal and my body was fine, it was all in my head so I guess the answer to that question is… “A crazy person!” • • I remember feeling as though my body was never good enough and always wanting that leaner look, smaller waistline, tighter skin, and just obsessing and obsessing about nothing, I focused on what wasn’t there, forgetting to see the overall success in the way I looked and the time and commitment it took for me to get there. I think I may have mentioned this before but I truly believe I developed an eating disorder because of competing, I was scared of the “cheat meals," because it would lead to binging and then I had this feeling of dissatisfaction in my body because I feel like I ruined all I worked for. • • This snowballed into not really being able to live my life…literally being consumed by food (pun intended). It was all I could think about or focus on no matter what day or time it was, I would crave treats, and constantly check the time to see when I could eat again, constantly hungry and never having that true feeling of satiety until my coach gave me the go ahead for a "cheat meal.” • • The cheat meal or refeed, was something that symbolized freedom for me and I feel like that is why flexible dieting really allows me to be successful in many different facets of life, it provided me with the freedom to create happiness while achieving multiple goals or striving to get to where I hope to be one day in regards to my profession, my health, and the quality of my relationships! ♥️ • • Tag someone that needs to read this and let them know that there are options for success. 👊🏻 (at Vancouver International Airport)

So you have a busy lifestyle and you want to get fit? 💪🏻👊🏻 How do you get there? Do you hope and pray or do you will it to happen?🙌🏻 • • Whether you’re a busy office worker who is stuck working late, a tradesman who has worked out north for the past 14 days, for 12 hours a day, a business owner who is struggling to get his business off the ground, the one thing we all have in common is the fact that we feel we don’t have enough time in the day to get everything we want done, let alone a balanced meal or a good workout. Being as efficient with our time these days is extremely valued because with technology grabbing our attention left, right and centre it is easily to get side tracked and start focusing on things that burn up our time up. 🔥 • • I have managed to find a way that can really allow me to maintain and develop the energy to do all my daily responsibilities, focus on my professional life along with focusing on my own health and well being. I want to help those of you that feel as if life has you focused on everything besides yourself. Not too long ago I was either obsessing about the gym, or obsessing about work. So I never focused my attention properly with balance and haven’t tried to find a happy medium until now 🤩 My eyes were opened and I realized the importance of killing it in all areas of your life. • • Intermittent fasting in combination with flexible dieting has created something that restrictive dieting could never do. Kept my mental state in a positive mindset and allowed me to create a body I desire while continuing with my daily routines at work and home.💼 🏡 For those of you that don’t think they can do it. I’m here to tell you that yes you can be that successful salesman, engineer, lawyer putting all that time into your career and still walk around with a body you’re proud of. All it takes is the belief that you can and the know how, I’ve truly had the paradigm shift of what it look likes to create the things you love all at once. I know that there are too many of us out there not believing that there is a happy medium. . . Continued below 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 (at Edmonton, Alberta)

How have you been sleeping lately? 😴 • • Fasting can historically increase alertness and interrupt sleeping as you are more aware. This is natural because you have an increased vigilance to stay alert for feeding, however to overcome this during the fasting period I usually have my last meal prior to bed so that all my food is processed throughout the night while I sleep on a full stomach. • • Sleeping can be closely related to your health and well being. The quality of your bed rest closely correlates to the effectiveness of our day so it’s important we maintain a good sleep pattern 💤 🛏 In fact our diet is even more tied into our circadian rhythm which is our (24hr) biological clock. So when travelling to different parts of the world, holding a fast can properly minimize jet lag. Isn’t that something 🙂 🤔 • • If you’re anything like me and love sleep along with your comfy bed 🛏 and warm blankets, feeling rested is an important feeling when you exit that perfect habitat👌🏻. I’ve noticed a tremendous change in my energy, my mood, and the clarity in my mind since I have taken on Intermittent Fasting. I used to go to sleep starving and wake up famished when I was restricting calories for dieting. Waking up cranky because you were tossing and turning all night is no fun. Keeping that mind clear and fully functional is important for all of us, so we can make sure we continue to reach those goals we are after 👊🏻🙌🏻 (at Edmonton, Alberta)

I want you all to know... • • I’m a cheater 😋😜 🍕 and I love it 🙌🏻♥️ In the past I’ve always been worried about the yummy food we all love to eat. The restricted dieting really turned me into an angry 😤 😠 and miserable person. I was literally the Incredible Hulk minus the green and the huge muscles. 💪🏻 Who likes a grumpy 😡 f*****? • • I am a big fan of the “yummy diet” (no it’s not a real diet)and I know that the diet loves me back in so many ways. 😆 In fact I am sure of it, when it comes to eating a great meal who doesn’t get excited? 🤷🏼♂️Personally, I can remember countless times I was going out for dinner, or meeting friends and family for a BBQ 🍖 🍗 🥩 and my only focus was what was going available to eat for that meal. I mean I guess the company was alright as well, but let’s be honest our appetite has a direct correlation to our mood and I don’t know about you but Hell...I get super happy! 😃 • • If you ever asked me to pick between a burger 🍔 or a beer🍺 I would pick the burger every time, unless I had three burgers, I’d skip the third and wash it down with a beer 😆 • • Obviously there always needs to be limits to everything, too much of anything will never be good so a good balance is important. With that being said, I also love to train and look good so maintaining a happy medium between all the things I love has meant that I can do all the things I love. • • If you don’t live life like you should, or eat what you like, maintain your health, and focus on your goals. What do you have to live for? Be honest with yourself, stop restricting yourself. No matter what it may be! • For me, it’s the “yummy diet”🙌🏻 (at Edmonton, Alberta)
