An edit of the lovely candle set by BuggyBooz /or rather: an edit of this edit by @shastakiss . I've changed light settings to Ikea SP tealights. Edited meshes require IKEA SP!

BB Candid Candles - warm light mesh edits

Archive contains my small recolor pack - two brass shades and black & white candles. ❕ You'll need Standard Material Shader Edit by @crispsandkerosene to enable the texture glow effect, as I've used additive maps for candle recolors - and also added it to BB's original worn white candle texture. Be aware that CandK's shader edit clashes with other shader edits.

Original recolors for candid candle set by BuggyBooz (repositoried edit by Shasta) are available here (SFS).

So far Crispsandkerosene has shared two versions of their extended standard material shader edit, one includes bright CAS fix by LD, the other does not. Current versions conflict with Dreadpirate's shader edits - but CandK might share merged version at some point.

Pics above on the left: my white / black recolor without Standard Material shader edit. Pics on the right: shader edit present, additive maps work.

I've added additive maps to edited meshes - BB_CandidCandles_chandelier and BB_CandidCandles_3candlesticks. When you recolor these (candle subset), texture glow effect will be applied to new recolors.

it's finally done!! @misa_caliente on the simscord requested this agesss ago, and i've been working on and off on it ever since. have @pierisim's incredible pantry party converted from ts4 to ts2, in 48-item entirety! as a kitchen clutter addict, i am IN LOVE!!

this has honestly been so, so rewarding. all items are either decorational, found under appliances -> misc, or functional shelving, found under surfaces -> misc. you get 43 items of kitchen clutter and 5 new shelves, all with slots thanks to @hugelunatic's awesome slots tutorial! i've included a readme and collection file for ease of browsing the catalogue, but peek below for a very extensive list, plus unedited previews 😃

Wine Bottles and Glasses - Functional Serving Tray - for The Sims 2

I have already converted these Wine Bottles and Glasses from Somik&Severinka sometime ago as functional drinks that can be taken from the fridge.

Now the serving tray can be buyed from the catalog in the Party Section and wine (both red and with) can be served and drinked similar to my Cocktail Board Drinks. It will increase fun and comfort and decrease bladder.

Hi there!

I recently discovered your tumblr and I really fell in love (and became obsessed) with some of your Art Deco buildings and decoration. I have two questions, related to each other:

Did you ever consider sharing some of you lots, namely the one you posted here: https://www.tumblr.com/yeoldecorprusarium/745121687314563072?source=share ?

In that lot, there is an end table from Shino&KCR Art Deco Entry, which they have made both for TS3 and TS4. I have been seraching for that end table (and items from that set in general), but I couldn't find the conversion anywhere. Did you make the conversion of the end table yourself? Or did you download it for somewhere else? In any case, if you were willing to share the link to download it, I'd really appreciate it... I can never have enough Art Deco items in my game... ;) Thanks again for the inspiration you provide with your posts and have a lovely day!

Mel Gown (a mashup & collab with @episims ❤)

So, Epi's Mel needed a wedding gown and we ended up engineering one 😂 It's a mashup of MDP's 4t2 Sifix Angelica dress and Mermaid Side Tie, which uses parts from Jellymeduza's 4t2 Blouse Side Tie. AF only, has all morphs. There are 6 recolors. Texture credit also goes to Freepik :)

When you watch too many films noirs, and you realise you must make an old-style drugstore/soda fountain/bar/tobbaconist (with a secret gambling room upstairs and a convenient pawnshop right next to it too)...

And you tell yourself that you're going to make it on a 2x3 lot, because you don't want it to crash - and start getting anxiety because the last time you made anything on such a small lot was in 2009... But you go ahead anyway, knowing that even with a small lot, you will eventually clutter it soo much it will turn into that delighful tone of purple-pink and crash...

And then it doesn't turn out too bad and you start thinking that, despite the crappy computer specs and low graphs, you're going to share a picture anyway...

Another lighting request, incoming!

An anon sent in a request for DOT's "Dollop O' Match Set" (which you can find here) because I had already converted the Dollop O' Light Wall Light (which you can find here).

This set is eight lights (with pretty absurd names). There's the Dollop O' Bowl Ceiling Light, Dollop O' Bowl Floor Light, Dollop O' Bowl Wall Light, Dollop O' Ceiling Light, Dollop O' Double Wall Light, Dollop O' Floor Light, Dollop O' Flush Bowl Ceiling Light, and the Dollop O' Triple Wall Light. Each is 59 Simoleans, because that is what DOT had them priced at.

Each light is in a separate folder containing its recolors. Remember to discard the preview images once you decide what you want to keep. Files are compressorized.

Switchable Switch with Animations for The Sims 2

As written in the last post, I used the Unswitchable Switch converted by Simsinlowspace to make a functional switch that can be used by your sims to turn on/off the room lights. They won't turn on/off immediately like the usual functional switches do, but the choosen sim will go in front of it to actually press the switch and it will move up or down as you can see here:

The switch is shiftable but I also added a second version if you don't have Apartment Life EP (choose one). It won't disappear when walls are invisible. It has a new Guid so you can have both the deco version and mine in your game.
