Students should have to choose their own subject or not?

Actually students want to choose their own subject by themselves, but their school's rules wants to prepare their students to learn all of the subjects. The school's rules forbids their students to choose their subjects too early. They need to prepare themselves before they choose their own subjects. Students should learn basic of every subjects until they ready to choose their subjects by themselves. Even though, this is a very good way to prepare students, I believe that students should be able to choose their own subjects by themselves. They can start to learn about what kind of career that they want to do, and also they have freedom to express their skills in the subject that they want.

Most of schools require their students to learn every subjects in their school, in order to know everything. They think elementary school and junior high school are too early for students to choose their own subject by themselves. The school shows their students many subjects and makes sure that they can follow it. This is a good way to prepare students, but I believe that students should choose their own subjects; thus they are not confused in determining their choices. For example, the students are interested in art painting, but in their school does not have this subject, so they cannot improve their skills and prepare their future more perfectly.

Many people believe that every students should have to learn the basic of every subjects in order to have a lot of experiences, show their abilities, and recognize which subject they more interested in. They can choose some of the subjects when they already in senior high school. I think that students should choose their own subject more early, so they can prepare anything and only focus in the subjects they want. Students also need freedom to express themselves, so they can enjoy learning anything that they want. Most of students have argue that schools do not give them freedom to make choices. This is why many students are lazy and bored while studying because they are not interested in the subject. They want to do another thing. For example, when they are studying about maths while they do not like and enjoy this subject, it just wastes their time. They better learn what they want. I strongly agree with this because I believe that students should get their wanted subjects.

Many people think that allowing students to choose their own subjects is not the right thing. They have to know more knowledge, so they get a lot of experiences and know everything. According to them, students can learn from their experiences. So in the future when they get some problems, they can learn from the experiences that they got from school. For example, when they take a test in the selection of civil worker, the test will be ask many things not just one thing. This is good idea, but it will be easier if the students could choose one subject they want. For instance, they choose to learn the German language and focus on it, so when they graduated and they are accepted in German department, they will have no problems.

There are so many different opinions about students should choose their own subjects or not. Choosing the subject that students want will help the students to know easily about their ability in, they are interested in what subject although they are immature , I believe that they can choose what they want for their future.They can start to learn about what the career in their future that they want to do and also they have freedom to express their skill in the subject that they want.

Thesis statement : Although this “invention” will help some people, I believe that it will give some bad effects and create problems.

Body paragraph:

Designer babies is a new “invention” in this era. People can use their imagination to create a baby as they want. Scientist claim that designer babies is the best invention and it has some benefits. One of that benefits is it can prevents genetic diseases such as down syndrome, Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s Disease, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, and many others. This invention may prevents some genetics problems or diseases but it also can create new problems. Even though this invention can prevent some genetics diseases, the technology used is not 100% safe. It is only in the experimental stages at this point. For example, if you want to have a baby that perfect without any genetic diseases but your baby cannot talk or have a dark skin.

Designer babies is almost the same with cigarette and tobacco. If you use a technology to create a perfect baby and it succeed, you will make it again and again. In short, you will be addicted. It is same with people who cannot avoid to smoke cigarette, they will be addicted too. Both of designer babies and cigarette and tobacco are an option. Some scientist said that genetically engineering babies is option, not a requirement for all parents. A baby cannot consent to having it’s body altered. So, if you do not agree to “design” their babies, they do not have to use it. It is only an option, you can take it or just leave it.

Scientist might think that designer babies is the invention that has some benefits. All of parents want to have a normal even a perfect baby; however, it againts the nature of human creation by Almighty God. Here, I believe that we were created with different purposes by Him. For example, a disable person is created as a reminder for us to be a giving person, feel sympathy, realize how lucky we are which can make us grateful and thankful to Almighty God.
