[ SARA WAISGLASS // FEMALE // SHE/HER ] – Shoot, is that [ JOEY HUGHES ]?!  The [ 19 ] year old [ MUSICIAN ] has lived in Hollywood Pointe for [ 19 YEARS ] now, and has earned quite the reputation.  People say, they’re [ + WITTY ] and [ + INTELLIGENT ], yet also [ - SELF ABSORBED ] and [ - IMPATIENT ].  Rumor has it they're [ THE REASON WHY HER BAND BROKE UP ], but with all the gossip in this town, who really knows?  I guess we’ll just have to find out for ourselves.  

under the cut is a timeline of joey’s backstory in this verse

0 - Joey is born in Hollywood Pointe, California. She is the second child in the Hughes family. She is followed only thirty four minutes later by another Hughes child, her twin brother, Kenneth.

2 - Joey begins taking dance classes, as well as beginning a casual career in modeling (print work) as well as acting (a hobby she quickly gives up once she has the chance. Her drama is not meant for the screen.)

10 - Charlotte Hughes, the fourth and youngest of the Hughes children, is born, making Joey an older sister (formally).

14 - Joey attends a private high school where she excels in academics as well as extra curriculars. She is a cheerleader as well as on the volleyball team, and playing tennis. She is also on a competitive dance team outside of school. This is also when Joey’s social life starts to pick up, as Joey starts to take an interest in the young actors working at her father’s production studio.

16 - Joey first makes (tabloid) headlines after being caught as the other woman in a different celebrity couple’s cheating scandal. Joey starts to make a reputation for herself as your typical Hollywood socialite party girl, making messes wherever she goes.

17 - Joey signs a record deal alongside her best friend Cricket Oliver and another friend Angie Jeremiah. The three release an album, High and Dying, under the band name Done Drugs. That summer they go on their first world tour.

18 - Just after her eighteenth birthday, Joey moves into her own apartment separate from her parents. Joey graduates high school with a 4.0 GPA despite her reputation. Done Drugs disbands, but Joey signs a solo record deal with the same label, this time under her own name alone. That summer, she releases her first solo album, Trust Issues.

19 - Current.

Joey was, admittedly, a little tipsy already. She was nearly constantly these days, with very little excuse. “I agree wholeheartedly,” she told the boy enthusiastically. 

As Jace crossed his arms over his chest, the corner of his mouth curled into a smug smirk. With his head tilting to the side, Jace leaned his back against his seat. “ So since everyone wants to be all in the holidays or whatever, I vow we all have a party every day for the next two weeks. The only catch is you have to bring liquor. Now that is what I call festive”  A laugh split from his lips. Truth be told, Jace was growing tired of everyone pulling out the addiction crap card with him. There was no harm in partying, especially with all the crap that had happened recently.
