I think the funniest thing about my stance re: the "play another game" discourse is that I myself almost exclusively play d&d or its direct descendents. I have played some other games, and read many more, it just turns out that what I like in ttrpgs is combat heavy fantasy adventure games about mercenaries who kill monsters for money.
