"WELL, if you must know... I use to cause some rather minor trouble when boarding subway cars due to my headphones occasionally being caught in the doors of the subway if I'm not quick to board. Which, did create some panic, so I decided it'd be easier to just have headphones more manageable, but also FASHIONABLE.
