"Kermit! Like, I'm so glad I caught you!" Janice held up a music catalog to the frog. "Which of these amps can we afford? Floyd and I kinda sorta need new ones."

To say that Janice was surprised was an understatement. She and Piggy had never really hung out before, even though they've been working together for a long time. Come to think of it, the two never really talked all that much outside of work and some special events. Still, opportunities to hang out with the swine star seemed to be rare, and even rarer seemed to be a personal invite to such by Piggy herself...

"Rully? Oh wow, I'd love to! Oo, I'm totally psyched about this." Janice was figuratively on the edge of her seat with excitement. "Like, did you have anywhere in mind? If not, I know this organic coffee shop downtown. It's like, totally far out, especially fer being locally-owned."

Janice smiled as she greeted the drummer. "Hey, Animal! Like, what--"

The sudden snap of the chain cut her inquiry short. That particular sound wasn't exactly good news (at least for whoever had to buy the next "leash"). However, the guitarist could only retreat a few steps back before she found herself nearly stumbling to the ground and being covered by whatever liquid was coming from Animal's mouth.

"Eew! Like, nice to see you too." With what little free movement she had, she patted Animal on the head. After all, he was just being affectionate in his own way.

The blonde lit up at the prospect of a jam sesion. "Oh, fer sure! Let me like..." She tried to wiggle free, but the drummer's grip seemed tight. "You know, like, I need to get my guitar first."

"WO-MAN! WO-MAN! HI HI HI!"

With a couple of sharp grunts and sharper yanks, Animal managed to snap his chain, promptly dashing after his bandmate and flinging himself onto her. Happily, he began to slobber her face, his gangly arms trapping her in a crushing hug. 

"WE JAM?"

This post is dedicated to Ms. Tina Turner. As she always does, my spin instructor chooses a doosey of a song for us to finish our Spin Class off before warm downs. On tuesday, I conquered Kelly Clarkson’s “Catch My Breath” & a slow cover of “Tusk”, and today it was Tina Turner’s turn to kick my ass to “Proud Mary” (The full version. Fast AND slow). Let’s just say she did it and I hope one day to revisit this song in spin class to conquer it fully and sprint the hell out of this song. But until then, witness the queen Ms. Turner sing the socks off this song.
