Reliance Jio prime user plan
Reliance Jio had announced their all new Reliance Jio Prime membership earlier last month and the plans finally go live today. From today, Reliance Jio users will have a host of options to choose from. They can either take the Reliance Jio Prime subscription or use their SIM cards without subscribing. However, if they do not do a recharge for minimum amount, then after a period of 6 months, their connections will automatically get disconnected. So basically, every Reliance Jio subscriber will now have to let go of the "free" carrot and start paying. While Reliance Jio Prime membership does come with a host of benefits, there are other plans that are equally good for those who do not consume too much data and are instead interested only in the free calling. So, what are these plans? Let is check them out in detail.Let us first take a look at Reliance Jio Prime subscription and what it entails. Reliance Jio Prime membership is open for all present Reliance Jio subscribers from today, March 1st 2017 to March 31st 2017. If the membership is not taken in this one month, after March 31st, users will not be able to avail the membership. The subscription can be availed by paying a one time fee of Rs 99. The fee can paid at any Reliance Jio Express outlet in the country or through the app. While customers will have to avail their Prime membership in the month of March itself, it will be activated only from the 1st of April. The validity of the subscription is for 1 year - till 31st March 2018. After paying the one-time fee of Rs 99, users still have to choose from a variety of packs available depending on the amount of data they need and recharge using the pack. Just a Prime subscription does not entail you to another year of free calls and SMS.So which are the different packs under the Reliance Jio Prime subscription? As initially announced, the most popular plan will be for Rs 303. But then, though initially announced as the one plan, there are other plans also that Reliance is offering. Additionally, the other normal plans, which are valid for non-Prime members are applicable to prime subscribers too and come with some perks and benefits - mainly in terms of extra data. Plans start from as low as Rs 149 for 28 days and go up to as high as Rs 9999 for a year. There are other plans to for different duration - monthly duration ranging from 21 days to 28 days depending on the plan. There are also additional top ups available if you exhaust the free data allotted to you in the limited time and wish to continue using the plan without recharging again.Let us start with the most popular of the lot - the Rs 303 plan. The Rs 303 plan has been the most advertised plan. After 28 days, the user will have to recharge again to continue with the plan. The data usage limit is 1 GB per day under this new plan. The plan is applicable to both, Prepaid and Postpaid customers and the benefits stay the same for both. For non-Prime subscribers, the Rs 303 recharge will give them with unlimited calling, SMS and data for 28 days. The data amount drops down directly from 28 GB to 2.5 GB for the entire month. The validity of the pack stays the same - 28 days. However, there is no daily limit on the usage of internet under this pack. Users can utilise all of the 2.5 GB 4 data in one day - which means, the rest of the 28 days they have no free data. the charges after exhaustion of 1GB data are 0.25 paise per 10 kb.The Rs 303 plan is the one common plan between both - Prepaid and Postpaid subscribers.
