[NEW] SIMS 4 RAINBOW LEGACY CHALLENGE.

Listen, I tried looking up some good legacy challenges out there, realized I wanted a whole rainbow legacy challenge, but I really wasn't satisfied with the ones out there already.

SO!

Here is MY Rainbow Legacy Challenge!

I use two mods that are very important to this challenge.

The more traits mod by Chingu, for more traits and variety in the generations:

Both are free and easy to download. I use these both in regular gameplay and they're amazing for adding personality to your sims.

THE BASICS

Create your starting gen sim. These sims are meant to represent colors, so please don't be shy in decorating them like their colors! The first generation is the color black. The rules, traits, etc are further down in the post.

When you're done in CAS, there are two starter options:

Normal Start

Start off in whatever lot you prefer, you may move lots whenever you please.

Keep the starting funds to help you get set up.

Extreme Start

Start off in whatever lot you prefer, but your household has to stay there for all 10 generations.

When you place your starter sim in the chosen lot, set their funds to zero.

^You can do this by turning cheats on. Press ctrl + shift + c to open the cheat console, then type testingcheats on. If you did it right, it should say something like cheats enabled. After that type money 0.

DON'T USE CHEATS OF ANY KIND AFTER THIS! - Come on, you should know what's allowed and what's not.

Either way, you're ready to start the challenge!

GENERATIONS:

GEN 1 - BLACK

You've been disowned and abandoned. Because of your rough life, you're kind of a rough person.

Will you make a name for yourself? Will it be good, or bad?

Will you be able to make friends or enemies?

Aspiration: Fabulously Wealthy

Traits: Non-Committal || Smug || Slob || Stone-Hearted || Kleptomaniac

Career: Criminal

Goals:

*Reach level 10 of the criminal career, either branch.

*You never marry and never adopt.

*Your child is the product of a 1-night stand.

*Complete your aspiration

*Have three enemies

*Reach level 10 of all skills required of your career. (This could mean mischief and handiness, or mischief and programing, depending on what branch you choose.)

GEN 2 - BROWN

Your Parents? A mess! They only ever work. That's why you'll never get a 'real job!'

Despite your parent's shortcomings in parenthood, they always fueled your passion for art, so that's what you intend to do.

Aspiration: Painter Extrordinaire

Traits: Artistic || Kind || Glutton || Slow-Witted || Hates Children.

Career: None

Goals:

*Master the painting skill.

*Master your aspiration.

*Marry a sim with the 'foodie' trait.

*Have a maximum relationship of 'friends' (preferably less) with your child/children.

*Have a best friend that isn't a part of your family.

*Never get a 'real job.'

GEN 3 - RED

You've always dreamed of having the fairytale life, seeing as the real one is so disappointing. Reading and writing books is your passion, and you want to become an author that everyone knows.

Your obsession with literature has put unrealistic expectations on your love life, and your short temper seems to drive away even the best partners.

Will you have your fairytale ending?

Aspiration: Bestselling Author

Traits: Short-Tempered || Romantic || Impulsive || Hot || Bookworm

Career: Writer

Goals:

*Master the writing skill.

*Reach level 10 of the writing career.

*Marry the first sim you date, never divorce no matter what.

*You're impulsive, complete five whims every week.

GEN 4 - ORANGE

You're a very active person. Llama scouts as a child, and now vacations as an adult. You want to see what the world has to offer, and if you don't get your way, there'll be hell to pay.

Aspiration: Mt. Komorebi Sightseer, Beach Life, Archaeology Scholar.

Traits: Optimistic || Sporty || Shy || Hyper || Emotional

Career: Social Media, Odd Jobs

Goals:

*Complete 1 or more of the listed above aspirations.

*Master the social media career.

*Do at least 5 odd jobs in your lifetime.

*Master fitness and photography skills.

^If you choose Mt. Komorebi: Master the rock climbing skill as well.

If you choose Sulani:

Master the fishing skill as well.

If you choose Selvadorada:

Master the Salvadoradan culture skill as well.

*Take at least three vacations in your life, take everyone in your household each time you go.

GEN 5 - YELLOW

Your parents took you everywhere, so you're used to living a lively life. You want to continue that lifestyle through adulthood, instead of exploring urban settings to contrast your past adventures. Get the most out of the spotlight and live the good life!

Aspiration: World Famous Celebrity

Traits: Eccentric || Barfly || Delightful || Clumsy || Ambitious

Career: Actor

Goals:

*Master the charisma and acting skills.

*Master your aspiration.

*Have 10 friends.

*Have a house worth 200k.

*Visit every bar lot.

GEN 6 - GREEN

Growing up in a rich and famous household had its perks. You got everything you wanted, including singing lessons, meals that were never disgusting, and friends galore.

Still, you can't help but want something else. You're jealous of others still. But what could you possibly need?

Aspiration: Renaisannce sim

Traits: Perfect pitch || Materialistic || Jealous || Vegetarian || Insider

Career: Musician

Goals:

*Master the Singing, Gourmet cooking, and research and debate skills. (These can be a part of your aspiration completion.)

*Complete your aspiration.

*Get married twice, divorced twice.

*Own every instrument.

GEN 7 - BLUE

Having a somewhat unstable parent relationship wasn't ideal growing up, but you learned to work with it. That doesn't mean you didn't want a big happy family, you just came to terms with it not being possible.

This is why you want to give your children the best possible life you can, no matter what.

Aspiration: Big happy family.

Traits: Gloomy || Heroic || Logical || Elegant || Family Oriented.

Career: Stay-at-home parent.

Goals:

*Master the cooking, parenting, baking, and gardening skills.

*Be good friends with all of your children.

*Marry a sim that can work, as you are a stay-at-home parent.

*Have children with one sim that you choose to marry. (If you have an 'accident baby' with a sim, you must marry the sim you've had it with.

*Complete your aspiration.

GEN 8 - PURPLE

Your parents have always done the most for you, and you do your best to make them proud and happy in return. You've always wanted them to approve of what you do.

That's why you took up a job as a cook. Your parent likes cooking, right?

The thing is, you DON'T like cooking. It's not really you. But will you be able to break out of this cycle of approval-seeking?

Aspiration: Joke star.

Traits: High spirited || Dance machine || Silly || Motivating || Cat lover

Career: Culinary, Entertainer (Comedian branch)

Goals:

*Be best friends with your parent by young adulthood.

*Reach level 4 of the culinary career before joining the entertainer career.

*Own at least 1 cat in your lifetime

*Complete your aspiration

*Master the comedy skill, write and perform 5 comedy routines.

GEN 9 - PINK

You have an obsession with learning and dating. Learning about your dates. Dating while learning. It's just your thing.

Why would someone choose for their life to be filled with so much drama though!?! And so many lovers?!?!

Aspiration: Serial romantic, Villainous Valentine

Traits: Extrovert || Mischievous || Obsessive || Cute || Nerdy

Career: Education

Goals:

*Complete both aspirations.

*Have a spouse that you cheat on regularly.

*Have a child with a fling.

*Reach level 10 of the education career.

*Master research and debate, logic, and robotics skills.

GEN 10 - White

Instead of dealing with your parent's mess, you put your energy into collecting. Crystals, fossils, figures, you name it. To top it off, you're the biggest geek, obsessed with SciFi and the unknown to the point where people avoid you. It doesn't bother you much though, you have your collectibles to talk to.

Aspiration: The curator

Traits: Feeble || Neat || Geek || Unpredictable || Practical

Career: Astronaut (Or scientist if you wanna put that effort in)

Goals:

*Marry another geek sim, or a coworker, or stay single forever. (Your choice)

*Complete two collections of your choice.

*Reach level 10 in your career.

*Reach level 10 in rocket science, handiness, and logic skill.

*[OPTIONAL] Have no children, because this is the end of the challenge.
