Based on the qualities and effects that I found the last time with plastic combine with water and air, I worked on how I could make plastic bag waterproof. I worked with tap and also with the sealing machine in the plastic workshop. I tried out lot of combinations and variations with different plastic by every time anderstand what works wrong and improved it every time.

I want to work on the idea and the symbole of the life jacket. Except that I want to work on a disaster jacket. I felt the need to bring my idea more in the concret world. At the opposite of the life jacket, the disaster jacket make you feel the sensations that you can feel when your are in a natural disaster. Here I work on the cyclone.

Once I've founded this qualities I worked on how I can combine them to give a full experience of a cyclone ? I attached the different platic bags together with tape. Each effect should be placed in the most relevant space of the body. I has to play with all our senses. For the next I should continu my work in this direction.

Protoype in real life 🐎🐎🐎 I played a bit with transparent plastic bags and I actually realised that it was really a good material to use to creat different sensations. It can affect the see and give a blurry effect, juste like a wind in a cyclone. It can be filled up with water and then it creats a cold and wet effect, even if the person is not really wet. With the water I found out that we can feel a big pressure when we carry it on our shoulders or head. Also when you move some plastic against plastic close to the hear, it creat a noise really similar to the sound of a big storm.
