For the other characters, its just a story of how a man who became the enemy of the Martial World was murdered for the key to a vault of knowledge.

For Ye Bai Yi, the story is much more personal. He lived for many years and witnessed his own disciple and his father inadvertently bring misery down upon themselves. In a way, he completes the circle, finally fixing the mistakes, letting go of his envied power and immortality for the ones who truly deserve happiness after suffering the brunt of his disciple's doings, finally at peace, keeping his own Word of Honor.

Zhang Chengling didn’t know why, but he instinctively trusted the two men that had decided to accompany him back to Coruscant.

They were Force sensitive, no doubt about that. They did not hide their skill with the Force, protecting him from pirates and smugglers alike with a flick of their hand, propelling figures figures away and moving quicker than the wind.

Zhou-shu had a lightsaber as well, one he wielded with the precision only a trained Jedi would be able to. The saber pulsed differently from the bright red ones that cut his master down with. Despite the metaphorical weight of the white blade, it gave him a sense of hope as well. He wasn’t alone, not like he thought he would be standing over Master Yusen’s body.

Wen-shu did not have a lightsaber. Instead, he wielded a metal tipped fan, lightly guiding the skillfully thrown fan with a slight push here or there. He never got blood on his clothes, always flicking the blood off the thin metal blade with a wipe on a fallen body. Chengling knew he was dangerous, could feel how the Force gathered around him like a coming hurricane. But standing next to the man, at the eye of the storm, Chengling couldn’t find it in himself to fear him. Not when he was protected by the harsh wind and thunderous lightning Wen-shu created.

He would miss them when he made it to the temple. But life was constantly on the move. He was content in the two men only being part of his life and destiny for a couple of weeks. After all, attachment to what is a constantly changing circumstance only begets suffering, is what the Jedi Masters stated.

He only hoped the Temple would be as warm and welcoming as Zhou-Shu and Wen-shu.

Besides a “few” disagreements with the council and a history of rather mean spirited pranks as a padawan Palpatine is a model jedi. Though some suspect his compassion was learned rather than truly being in his nature, for this he is considered vaguely eerie among Jedi peers.

He’s not evil in this au but the Plagueis novel does suggest that Palpatine is other and of the darkside, so he’s still has a natural heavy lean towards the dark but he’s trying his best. Jedi Palpatine is actively choosing to be good lol he just has to try harder than the usual Jedi. Still others see him as a try hard perfectionist with a mean streak/mischief prone (and he is).

Idk he’ll probably not cause any major trouble OH ALSO the sith are really extinct in this au so all would be sith are Jedi or something else idk depends on the character

The idea for the lightsaber holsters came from how he draws his weapon in rots. When he has his cloak on he uses the force to pull them out of the sleeves. :]

im so tired of everyone drawing the g/enshin enemies as pretty boys. like they keep drawing the abyss heralds/lectors as smooth baby faced guys like 😐😐 thats so boring!!! cant believe these fanartists need to draw them in human form in order to make them look fuckable when in fact they already look fuckable as is!!!!
