I’ve found this on https://www.jotform.com/blog/45-brilliant-examples-of-photo-manipulation-art/ This man is ironing himself and half of his body is ironed while the other half is not. We don’t know what’s actually happening in the background. The person might’ve been on the table and the other half was paper. The manipulation of this photo was meant to be noticed. The purpose was creative because it looked like the person had ironed himself.

When someone is a public figure they want to show the best picture of themselves and share it to others to see and admire. In the original picture he he was posing with a cigar in his mouth and that is not the right image to share to the public. With the use of photoshop they were able to remove it showing a better looking photo.
The photo manipulation was not meant to be noticed.
The purpose of this photo was for the aesthetics.

I found this image at http://www.alteredimagesbdc.org/#/rothstien/ The Associated Press released Rothstein’s famous image of a steer skull on cracked earth as a symbol of drought conditions. This photo was visually replicated nationally. Rothstein photographed the same steer skull at several locations. After multiple photos were released by the Associated Press, they were immediately labeled as government propaganda they were immediately labeled as government propaganda by various conservative newspapers. The posing of this photo was not meant to be noticed. The purpose of this photo is deceptive because this is the same skull just taken in a different location.

I found this image at http://www.alteredimagesbdc.org/#/contreras/
This photo is of a Syrian fighter opposing against the government in a Telata village. Narciso Contreras admitted that he digitally removed his colleague’s video camera from the left corner so it wouldn't distract viewers from the main point of the photo. He covered it by using Photoshop and cloning the pieces from the background.
The manipulation was not meant to be noticed.
The purpose of this photo was for the aesthetics because the photographer wanted the photo to look better without the camera in the corner.

This video is showing us how to do a moving pan photograph.
the idea is to highlight a moving subject while creating motion or creating blur surrounding it
it is easiest to pull off this technique if your subject passes directly from where you’re standing, this will keep your subject on the same focal plane
start with a shutter speed between one thirtieth and one sixtieth of a second as a starting point, also close your aperture a bit
move your camera at the speed which your target subject passes in front of you
identify your target well before it gets close to you follow your subject through the viewfinder and release the shutter when you have the framing you want

This video is about using shutter speed
Components of Exposure: Aperture, shutter speed, and ISO
shutter speed is the amount of time that a physical shutter inside your camera opens and closes, this exposes a censor in your camera to light
the longer your shutter is opens it allows more light making the image brighter
with a shorter shutter speed less light is coming into your camera making the image darker
it also dictates how motion appears in your photo
the longer your shutter speed the more movement you’ll see
there are 2 types of motion in photography: the 1st one is in-front of your camera and the 2nd is in your camera
use a slow shutter speed, stabilize lens

This article is about capturing a sense of motion or movement in dancing photos:
it’s important to realize that there are 2 exposures happening at the same time in a photo
the 1st is ambient light
we need to have a slow shutter speed to create the motion blur from the lights
the shutter speed you choose is dependent on how long you want the streaks of light and how fast you are swing your camera
the 2nd is your flash
flash makes the subject visible and sharp
swinging the camera: it is important to know that whatever way you swing the camera, the light will streak in the opposite direction
keep an eye on where our subject is in the frame, in relation to the background lights

This article is about approaching and capturing action shots.
take a photo of anyone they don’t have to be well known
good communication with the athlete
Shoot close with a wide angle, or tight with a telephoto
keep in mind that you want the viewer to see what the athlete is doing
be very conscientious of your composition
Keep in mind that color can play a huge role in making your athlete pop from the background

This article was by Charlie Floyd and Ju Shardlow and it was posted in July 2019. People have tattoos on for many reasons it can symbolize protection, it can have a strong meaning for the owner and many other meanings. In Japan they have tattoos throughout their whole body. “That’s not what we see everyday.” I find the whole thing very interesting and all of the history.

This graffiti work was by Swoon made on September 2009. Some might see graffiti work as vandalism but I see it as art. It is where artist get to express themselves on the streets. Also it brightens the street a bit. In this piece she uses a lot of patterns and designs that creates rhythm.
