HairFinity? Does it really work or just another #HAIRFAIL ?
Tumblr media
We can all agree that our hair is something.. of a priority! There has been tons of talks on different ways to grow your hair from using Monistat ( I know ...weird right?) products like Dr. Miracle, minimizing heat usage (that's always a good thing) or  just chopping it off and starting over. There are countless products displayed on shelves, and even more people selling you the dream of long luscious flowing hair. So when I heard about #HairFinity of course I had my share of doubts but surprisingly this stuff actually works!
On top of the fact that it works, I follow them on IG and they are always posting healthy hair care tips, client updates, and so much more. I will be doing a full review with my comparisons of #HairFinity vs #Biotin ! #StayTuned and #LookForIT soon on #ELEXTENSIONS !

Practical advice on how to stop the ends of you hair breaking off and grow long black hair
For some women retaining or attaining greater hair length always seems to be a problem. The hair grows to a certain point, neck or shoulder length and then no further. The real issue here is not that the hair is not growing it is that the hair is often breaking faster that it is growing. To retain hair length there are two aspects you need to get right.
Follow a healthy hair care regime
Firstly you need to follow a healthy hair care regime this is a regime which consist of weekly deep conditioning the use of little to no heat, and trimming hair ¼” every 3 months. .
Protect your ends from breakage
Protecting your ends ensures that as the hair grows, the length is retained. The things that physically break your hair should be eliminated from your hair care regime. Too much heat, over manipulation, and contact breakage are the main culprits which cause women to loose hair length.
1 Hair and Heat damage
Heat dries out the hair to the point that it becomes fragile and breaks using low heat or no heat styling leaves your tresses in a stronger condition so breakage is reduced. If you must use hair straighteners only do it weekly at most and use a heat protection on your hair. However if you really, really want longer hair swap direct heat from hair straighteners for indirect heat and use a hood-dryer. ultimately just air dry your hair.
2 Hair and Over Manipulation
Over manipulation of the hair to create a style damages the hair cuticle, once this is damaged it makes it easier for the hair to break. So wearing styles that are easy to create and are low maintenance will save your tresses.
3 Contact breakage
Preventing your hair from rubbing against clothing such as collars and scarves will minimize contact breakage. Contact breakage is a reference to hair literally being rubbed away. Choosing a hair style that prevents contact with clothing is the way to avoid this kind of hair damage. The hair styles that prevent damage from over manipulation and contact breakage are known as protective hair styles, there are a few options when it comes to protecting your hair, so you can chose one which suits your personal style.

Micro link/ Braidless Sew In
Micro link braidless sew-in techniques for micro flat weaving limit the amount of bulkiness created, and make it possible to wear up-dos and ponytails. The braidless sew-in technique adds volume to hair and can cover up thinning hair or hair loss, with minimal damage to natural hair.
The Facts
Braidless techniques are more time consuming than the traditional sew-in braid method. The techniques require a professional to create the hairstyle. Braidless techniques are more time consuming and as a result, tend to be more costly. High quality human hair is recommended when using a braidless technique to achieve micro flat weaving.
Braidless techniques for micro flat weaving allow hair to be worn in a variety of different styles, unlike traditional braided sew-in methods. The weave is virtually undetectable and hair can be worn in high ponytails or up-dos without the worry of tracks being visible. Braidless techniques also tend to last longer and are not a strain on natural hair because the hair is worn down and left out. Less itching and irritation of the scalp are other benefits of using braidless techniques for micro flat weaving. Braidless techniques offer the benefit of no bulkiness associated with traditional sew-in methods.
Warnings
Always have a professional stylist remove the braidless sew-in to avoid cutting and damaging your natural hair. Don’t leave the sew-in in longer than 12 weeks; natural hair can get tangled into the weft of the thread and make it harder to remove. Limit the amount of heat used on the hair to help maintain hair texture and quality. Natural hair should be healthy and trimmed prior to using braidless techniques for best results. Consult with the stylist or beauty professional regarding the type of hair weave to purchase prior to getting a braidless micro flat weave to ensure hair types match perfectly.#MicroLink #BraidlessSewIn

Hair & Scalp Care Tips
Prepare Your Hair
Whenever you decide to weave your hair or add any form of extension, it is best to wash and condition your natural hair first. When washing your hair be sure to complete at least three cycles to ensure the removal of all residues. Never weave your hair the same day of receiving a chemical relaxer. Your hair will be more susceptible to breakage and damage. Chemical treatments leave the hair weak and fragile.
Moisturize Your Scalp
Make sure that your scalp has received proper care. Scalp treatments such as hot oil treatments are important. An unhealthy scalp will not produce healthy hair and breakage is more likely to occur. Although the Malaysian technique does not place an exceeding amount of stress on the scalp, a healthy scalp will withstand thetechnique best.

During my consultations alot of the time I will ask how tall you are? Lol you probably thought it was a little weird but here is why! The length of hair never changes but a 14inch on someone who is 5’5 is alot different than a 14 inch on someone who is 5’1! This is just a picture that kind of shows you the different lengths of hair!

5 BASIC HAIR CARE TIPS
1. When blow drying your hair blow dry on damp hair. Never dripping wet hair. This will cause less breakage and damage.
2. Always use a heat protectant when flat ironing or using a blow dry. (And remember using a flat iron on the highest setting won’t make your hair any straighter! It actually damages your and causes ends to split faster. Use the appropriate setting and temperature for you)
3. Get ends trimmed regularly (I know it kills us to have scissors of any kind come anywhere near our hair when we are trying to grow it out, but getting your ends clipped at least every 2-3 months will help promote growth and stop the damaged ends from splitting)
4. Use protein treatments like Aphogee Intesive 2 min Keratin Reconstructor and deep condition hair at least every 2 weeks. (I wrap my hair in saran wrap when I deep condition. Using just a plastic shower cap helps but the product mostly sits on top of your hair. If you use a saran wrap it will get the product to penetrate your scalp faster.)
5. With any product use the amount the directions tells you to. The biggest mistake most people make is to use way too much product, and wonder why the product isn’t working for them. In this case less is more.
