DCMK Community

As some of you may have noticed, Tumblr started the beta phase for communities. I got the chance to create a german DCMK Community and have still a few spots open (it's limited to 25 members right now). So if you're interested in testing the new feature and partake in the community, send me a DM with your MAIN blog (sideblogs can't get invited at the moment).

If you're not german @elfsedan made an english one and you can write her. But since there are probably more english speaking members here than german ones, please don't be sad if you don't get in. The communities will be open to all at some point. If you want to partake please have in mind that there will be bugs and you should be active and keep an eye out for them to report.

Nozomi, your father's birthday is less than a month away! Any plans for celebrating the old man?

Nozomi: Actually there are two birthdays coming ahead. Heisuke‘s is just two days before my dad’s one on the second of May. We often celebrate them together to stop discussions about celebration dates. That said - Kaito-San had the idea to play a joke on him for being so overprotective and offered to help me with that. But… I’m not sure about that. I don’t want to give him a heart attack. So I guess I’ll gift him another father-daughter-day-coupon. He loves those.

thank you very much! I‘ve been doing this for a while so I‘m pretty good at setting my own pace and doing what brings me the most joy or I wouldn‘t have been able to create fanwork for over a decade. However, I have little patience for people who just demand content. Most creators do all their fanwork in their free time and ask for nothing, they‘ll keep going even when getting no feedback at all. Since we‘re not getting much out of it except those sweet words of encouragement at times it is easy to be discouraged. I enjoy creating but I can‘t imagine any positive consequences of a „when is the next update“ comment. None. For any creator. It just sounds like an entitled demand from a greedy consumer who you don‘t even want to entertain anymore.

I‘m not out for comments even though I love them as much as anyone else. But if you have a story or fanwork you enjoyed give them a comment about how you loved that piece and what parts specifically you enjoyed. Personally this motivates me more than anything because you get to experience that part of your work again through the eyes of someone else, remember how you created that that scene and just ignite a wave of motivation and good feelings. The chances of getting more content are a lot better with that method, trust me. Now please throw some love at your favorite creators.

I wanted to keep quiet but my timeline is filled with things I can’t unsee.

I‘m respecting and tolerating every ship (well beside p3do ones) out there. I feel sorry for kaishin shippers. You can feel the way you feel.

(While in my country and also in Japan it’s a legal relationship.)

That aside…

The author has a right to finish his own version of the story.

You can like that.

And you can not.

If not, you’re free to write your own version in fanfiction etc.

Without hating on the author.

Without death threads (oh please).

On a side note, I only read one interview where he actually said something like, „they’ve gotten too close and need some distance since they’re rivals after all“.

For me that’s no „I want to stop this relationship“.

Hot take (only an assumption, no spoiler):

When we (hopefully) get our yearly Heiji-case, Shinichi might appear.

We‘re celebrating 30 years and it is possible, we‘ll see Shinichi soon? Maybe?

And Shinichi appeared - aside London case and backflashes - only when Heiji was around (if I remember right)?

I’d be happy to see him anytime soon lol.

I‘m disappointed that details are out so open so I‘ll just limit myself to uploading content here and not enjoy any posts on my dashboard. I‘m also afraid of spoilers in my inbox so I won‘t open that for a while either -please try to be considerate of those who want to avoid spoilers and tag them/hide them. 🙏
