No, yeah, I did, and was pretty relieved to see that there were a few songs left. Although I'm glad you were still able to transfer your songs over. Like, one of the best feelings is knowing that when you've lost something, you still have something else that'll back you up. I know a lot of my data's gone and I don't have that sort of "back up", but hopefully I manage to get everything back. And if I don't, then I think I may just permanently glue my face to my ass.

Did you go through your downloads and get back as much as you could? I got a new computer once, and when I tried transferring my iTunes over there were a whole bunch of songs that for some reason were all, ‘cannot be found’ or whatever, so I just moved them over from my downloads instead.

It's a bit painful, yeah. I still haven't found the nerve to forgive myself, so I've also been working on that than trying to recover lost songs. I do, uh, have maybe more over a quarter saved? I usually end up deleting things from my downloads out of force of habit, but I'm not sure that's much of a good idea anymore.

I feel as if anticipation's a lot more frightening than the actual needle work, but part of getting something done to your body and displaying it is almost like receiving a badge of honor, you know? It never hurts to make yourself happy.

It might leave a bit of a scar, but nothing too bad. And I might like it enough to keep it around for a while, too. For now, I’m just going to pump myself up and bring an unlucky victim to get their hand squeezed while it’s done. The best way to deal with not liking needles is to be in denial.
