摄影家王秋杭是杭州市摄影家协会秘书长，从60年代即开始摄影，多次荣获国内外各种奖项。其摄影作品和收藏都很有名。我们非常荣幸地邀请到他进行访谈。

Tumblr：您好，能请您向我们的读者简单介绍一下自己吗？

王秋杭：我叫王秋杭（Wang Qiuhang，网名：激活自己、黟族人等），1949年出生在中国杭州。1966年我花5元钱在旧货店买了一台最简宜的二手相机开始了自学摄影，1969年赴黑龙江建设兵团，我父亲在我的再三恳求下，给我买来一台“海鸥”双镜头反光相机和胶卷、显影、定影药粉和相纸。我在原始森林里拍下了许多艰难岁月的青春照片。我永远不会忘记钻进空油罐里，冒着刺鼻的汽油味，用香烟的星火冲胶卷，用手电印照片。这些照片令全连战士兴奋不已。从此，相机就没有离开过我。这些照片、底片被我完整保存至今，成为极珍贵的影像史料。

2006年我开始收藏原版古典照片，以《收藏女性》清代至民国时期中华女性的照片为特色，去平遥国际摄影大展办过主题展。2010年被上海世博会聘请的原美联社记者、唯一普利策奖华裔获得者刘香成先生和英国著名摄影评论家凯伦.史密斯主编的大型画册《1842–2010上海，一座城市的肖像》选用我收藏的民国时期上海平凡女性照片11张。随着古典照片的不断升温，我的主题收藏又有《自行车王国》、《1839–2016杭州》、《欧洲的公主们》、《18世纪欧洲的CDV》……等等，并且跟几位美国的影像收藏家建立了良好的客户关系。艺术品是没有国界的，我开始对欧洲的传统摄影作品感兴趣，也有一定量的收藏。

Tumblr：您是怎么想到建立这个 Tumblr 博客的呢？

王秋杭：我是被你们这个网站独特的作品所吸引，想通过你们的网站欣赏到各种各样的藏品，同时也希望同影像收藏家之间建立藏品交流的友好关系。

Tumblr：在收藏和创作之间，您更倾向于哪一方面呢？

王秋杭：我现在已经很少创作了，主要是我年轻时拍摄了数万张照片还没有完全整理出来，这是一笔宝贵的财富，我要尽力把它们整理好，发表出来。很难说我倾向于哪一方面，因为像我这样既创作又收藏的摄影家在中国很少。但最近看来我拍摄的作品影像超越了我的藏品，8月19日纽约时报用一个整版发表了我的专访，对我最近在香港出版发行的《1966–1976我的自拍像》一书给予很高的评价。

Tumblr：您认为在这个网络时代，影像历史有什么样的意义？

王秋杭：这个问题问得好！我也经常在思考。现在比较明确了，网络上的影像和底片上的影像其实是一样的，都是资料，没有商业价值。但网络上的影像有很强的传播效应（底片需要扫描）。在这个信息时代传播是非常重要的，尽管它没有商业价值，还要耗费大量的时间去贴图、写文章。但它对整个历史影像的收藏起着不可忽视的重要作用。当然，收藏家都明白，真正的欣赏绝对是原版实物，那是网络影像无法比的。但原版实物的欣赏受很多条件的限制，更要受到经济的制约。网络时代的历史影像传播最主要的作用是普及影像历史，因为我们在以往没有网络影像，只有政治家主宰的以文字为主的历史描绘中，许许多多细节是被忽视或篡改的。而今天的网络影像历史，可以让我看到历史的真相和细节，这是很有意义的！我至所以有今天的知名度，主要还是靠网络的力量。2006年，我先后在中国的雅昌网、盛世收藏网、新浪网、精英网等都建有我的搏客，又都以我的藏品和我拍摄的作品为主，因此大受欢迎。
