went to a party store to scope, and also to get ideas for my baby’s upcoming first birthday. I want to do an animal-themed party. So I go into this store just to see if they have any security, I’m fully intending this to be a recon mission, and strictly NO LIFTING.

However, the first thing I see when I get inside is this 6 ft cardboard cutout of none other than our idiot-in-chief. His smug fucking face ruined my day, reminded me he just slaughtered a bunch of innocents in afghanistan, and pissed me off so much I decided I had to steal something. Seriously, what kind of store is so irresponsible they think an infamous hateful, treasonous, war-mongering sex offender is a funny party supply?? i hate the redneck area i live in.

Anyway, rant over. I got these little piñata stuffers because I wanted some plastic animals as cake decorations for my baby’s party. They’re only 30 cents each but this place was like bristling with cams and there were a million SAs and other shoppers. Wish I could have ripped off all their shit, AND destroyed the D/r/um/pf cutout. :c

I palmed these teeny weeny things, shielded my bag and arm with a big banner while reading its packaging, dumped the animals in my bag and split. Never gonna give that shop my business lmao.

The SA looked in my tote and saw the sandals right on top of course. I was so mad at myself for not just concealing on the floor - I just happen to be really bad at that and was hoping they wouldn’t look in my tote or count. Well against my better judgment I detagged and concealed them anyway because I really really like gold and I wanted them. I concealed on person - not an easy feat, as they were crammed in my waistband making it hard to walk naturally. I went into H@IIm@rk afterwards and got a teddy bear for my baby (not shown - can’t find it now :/) but soon after I got worried the SA would notice the sandals were gone and I didn’t buy them, so I left the mall quickly.

I beeped because the lightbulb was tagged and I was so disappointed in myself. There was an employee right there, a cart-retriever guy, who joked with me that the store was angry I didn’t spend more money (I was leaving empty-handed but I didn’t even have a purse and concealed on my person, so they couldn’t really do anything). I played it cool, partly because the towers don’t even make a very alarming sound, and I didn’t realize I beeped until the guy said something.
