Olicity Valentine’s Day Smut-A-Thon

Hi everyone! We got a very positive response to our idea for a Smut-A-Thon, so we created a new page! 

Here’s how this is going to work. Sign-ups are open now. To sign up, just send us a message through this blog and tell us you are in! You can also indicate whether you would prefer a dialogue prompt or a more general one. That’s it. We will keep the sign-ups open until midnight on January 13th. Since Megan and I are both in the same time zone, we’ll go with Midnight in the US, Central Time. 

On January 14th, you’ll receive a message from one of us with your prompt. Posting will be on Valentine’s Day. 

This is meant to be fun and relaxed, but we do have a few rules. 

Must be at least 1000 words long

Must be complete

Must use prompt given, can use additional ideas if wanted

Participants may co-write, but BOTH prompts must be used

Sign-ups are at Olicity Valentine’s Day Smut-A-Thon

Fics must be rated M or higher

Because of the nature of the fic, you must be 18  or older to participate

Sign ups complete by January 13th. You may begin sharing your work on February 14th at 12:01am

Please tag your submission as “Olicity Smut-a-thon 2017” so that it can be easily located once you have posted it

While the prompt fill must be words, feel free to use any images or gifs, etc, in with your submission

Pairing for this Smut-a-thon is Olicity. However, other background pairings are allowed!

Stories can be canon or AU, whatever you want.

After signups close on January 14th, we will enter all names into a random number generator to assign a numbered prompt. When posting has been completed, a full list of prompts will be made available.

I’m alive and well and writing!

(Trying to, at least.)

In order to get my head where I want it when I focus on one project at a time, I need to go into deep hibernation, hence my lack of presence on Twitter and Tumblr. I get distracted way too easily and before I know it, I’m on three different writing tangents, none of which are related to my current project.

Blood Hands is finally starting to gel! I was struggling for a long while, mostly because I’m changing the underlying themes a lot more than I thought I would. The old draft keeps slapping me in the face while I’m trying to re-draft…

(Yes, literally 100% of the problem is that I think too much, but here we are.)

I’ll be staying off here and Twitter (save for random bursts of ‘OMG’ that I can’t contain) as much as possible for the foreseeable future to maintain my momentum.
