When my grandpa passed away, I had a dream that I was lost in a crowd, and then I saw him walking by. He turned, smiled at me and he kept walking. Then the crowd suddenly got smaller and I was OK.
A few years later, after my grandma (his wife) passed away, I had a dream that she, my mom and I were cooking together, and then I remembered that she passed away. With my little time I had left in the dream I hugged her and told her I missed her, but the dream changed before I could ask her what heaven was like.
I truly believe that it was really them and they were letting me know that they were OK.

My Bike was Stolen... Twice
My bike was stolen... twice in two days. On Sunday, my bike was stolen while I was on a grocery trip with my program, and since I use my bike as my transportation for everything, I needed it back ASAP because I had college classes the next day. So my wonderful Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins donated some extra money to my parents and me to buy a replacement bike #LoveMyFamily and the next morning I bought a brand new, bright orange, Trek Bicycle with a wide cushioned seat and a heavy duty lock. After I showed it to my family and thanked them for their generosity, I rode it to my college, locked it up tightly on the bike rack, and went to my class. Four hours later, I got ready to leave, only to find the bike gone and the lock cut.
I was devastated and furious! It’s bad enough my bike was stolen twice in a row, but my family gave us the money for that bike out of the goodness of their hearts only for it to be stolen the same day it was bought. I felt like I wasted their time and money and spit on them and that is a terrible feeling. If ever find the person who stole my bike, I’m going to whip them with the lock they cut!

Funny Childhood Stories: The Fire Spider
One time when my brother and I were kids, we were playing upstairs and found a spider on the wall. Being young kids, we yelled for my mom (who was downstairs at the time) to hurry and come get it rather that go downstairs to tell her in person.
At first, she didnt come and said something like “Don’t joke like that!” But after my brother and I shouted that we weren’t joking, she sprinted up the stairs and asked “Where is it!?!?”
We pointed at the spider and at first, she was confused, but then sighed in relief and explained that she thought we said that there was a “Fire!” not a “Spider!” And that’s why she thought we were joking at first and then came so quickly.
She got rid of the spider and then she had a talk about coming downstairs from now on to tell her if something was wrong because she was really worried about us. Love you mom
