40 Tips For Becoming More Disciplined 📌💡🚀📝
Know what you want to achieve soon and in the future. This helps you know where to go and stay motivated.
Do the most important things first to save time and energy.
Have a daily plan that includes work, rest, exercise, and learning.
Make big tasks smaller so they're not scary, and you can see progress.
Use methods like the Pomodoro Technique (working for a while, then resting) or blocking time to get more done.
Notice when you're avoiding work and make yourself start.
Control yourself from getting distracted or doing things just for fun.
Say no politely when you can't do more things without getting stressed.
Stay healthy by eating well, exercising, and sleeping enough.
Keep learning by reading, taking classes, or trying new things.
Check how you're doing with your goals and change plans if needed.
Tell a friend or mentor your goals so they can help you stay on track.
Keep your spaces tidy to help you focus better.
Learning discipline takes time, and it's okay if things don't go perfectly.
Think good thoughts about yourself instead of bad ones.
Imagine doing well to get motivated.
Mistakes are chances to learn, not reasons to give up.
Be happy about even small successes to stay positive.
Listen to advice from others to get better.
Be ready to change your plans but keep your main goals.
Try mindfulness to concentrate, be calm, and know yourself better.
Write about your progress and plans in a journal.
Turn off things like social media when you work or study.
Think about things you're thankful for to stay happy.
Do quick tasks right away instead of waiting.
Spend time with people who help you and make you want to be better.
Let others do tasks that you don't need to do, so you can focus.
Get better at handling problems without giving up.
Picture doing well to stay motivated.
Drink water to think clearly and stay healthy.
Have a special place to work or study to help you focus.
Wait for bigger rewards instead of quick ones.
Keep things simple, both around you and in your mind, so you can concentrate.
Listen to advice without feeling bad about yourself.
Use apps and tools to manage your tasks and time.
Reading helps you learn and think better.
Decide what's good enough for you and stick to it.
Believe you can get smarter and better with practice.
Do creative things to stay imaginative and interested.
Listen carefully to others to be better at talking and understanding.

15 Productivity Hacks 💻💭📝💡
Use the Pomodoro Method. Work in focused intervals (typically 25 minutes) followed by a short break. This helps you maintain high levels of focus and gives regular breaks to rest.
If a something takes less than two minutes, do it immediately.
Schedule specific blocks of time for specific activities. This helps in dedicating focus to one task at a time.
Group similar tasks together and tackle them in one go. For example, respond to all emails at once rather than sporadically throughout the day.
Contrary to popular belief, multitasking can reduce productivity. Focus on one task at a time for better efficiency.
Use apps and tools like Trello, Asana, or Notion to manage tasks and projects.
Use the Eisenhower Box or the ABCD method to categorize tasks based on their urgency and importance.
Keep your workspace tidy. A clean workspace can enhance focus and reduce distractions.
Even if one doesn’t exist, setting a deadline can create a sense of urgency.
Large tasks can be overwhelming. Break them into smaller steps to make them more manageable.
Aim for excellence, not perfection. Sometimes waiting for something to be perfect can lead to procrastination.
If someone else can do a task, delegate it. This allows you to focus on tasks that only you can do.
Working for long hours without a break can lead to burnout. Short, regular breaks can help maintain high levels of focus.
Use apps to play background music/noise that enhances concentration or block all notifications to prevent you from checking your phone.
At the end of the week, review what you’ve accomplished and what needs to be adjusted for the coming days.

7 Years of Studyblr
Yeah, I don't know how this happened either. But on this day, seven years ago, as I sat waiting for my GCSE results day I made the decision to start a Studyblr account. Since then, I have done my A Levels, my degree, my first job in education and started studying for my TEFL Diploma. It's been quite the ride and I wouldn't have made it this far if it wasn't for the support of the studyblr community. I've met so many amazing people on here and see so many of you go through your education and achieve amazing things. I'm so proud of all of you for how far you've come and I want to say thank you.
Thank you for replying to my posts, for sending me asks, for supporting me through bad days, for making me laugh, for being my friends. Even if we've never really spoken, I do appreciate you all and you all inspire me so much. Seven years, I really can't believe I've had this blog for seven years. Thank you so much for seeing me through so much of my life, for being in my life this long. It really does mean the world to me. And I admire you all so much, you are all so incredible and I am so so proud of everything you're doing.
I wanted to tag a few blogs, some I follow, some that I love, some mutuals, some blogs I always see in my notes, some I've rarely interacted with but admire, some I haven't seen in a while, just blogs that make my experience here even better. And a huge shoutout to all the study accounts that were here when I started that have since become inactive, that have been deactivated or have changed their url and I can no longer find them. I think even some of the blogs I've tagged might not be active. But you are all amazing. There will be a part two of tags because I can only tag so many at once

07|04|2023
Today I struggled again a little bit with focusing, especially because one of the articles I had to work on was terrible. I also finished studying earlier in the afternoon to go get a massage to hopefully help me with the back pain that has been plaguing me for days (I sneezed and somehow hurt myself, don't ask me how that happened I have no clue). On the positive side I have managed to find a bit of time to read for my own pleasure here and there. I am more and more intrigued by The Priory Of The Orange Tree. I am a little over 100 pages in, and I am surprised at how smoothly I am getting into the story. I can't wait to know more, I am really excited about this book, and hopefully later tonight I'll get some more reading done!
Productivity:
Read and wrote notes for the fourth additional protohistiry article
Read and highlighted the fifth protohistory article
Started a second and quick reread of my protohistory notes to write down some key words (this will take so long, and I want to review out loud more, but I had a bit of time I needed to fill so I started to work on this)
Practiced Irish on duolingo
Self care:
Read first thing in the morning
Massage!

Breakfast in bed: one black coffee, one with milk, two croissants, a long bath with amber and sandalwood, your low voice reading dorothy chan, rings clinking against keys and spare change on the ceramic, the scratch of a matchbook, you wrap me in a warm towel and carry me, let the record turn over again and again, not bothering with getting dressed for hours
