She didn't.. give me one.. but.. when i was looking into her i found that she had gone under several different names.. could tell it was all the same woman since well.. the teeth.. but all different names, so i don't know which one was real..

As for how she looked.. she looked mostly normal.. pale skin, what i think was medium length hair that was tied up, sorta blond but in the way where its clear it's been dyed, nothing else about her really stuck out besides her teeth.. oh! and she was tall! like.. weirdly tall..

Right! yes of course.. sorry it's.. difficult to talk about this all.. Uh.. so.. remember how i said that i remembered that food delivery woman? how her teeth looked interesting? well uh.. i looked into it more.. and i figured out what it was..

Her teeth were sharp. and not in the way where some people just like.. have sharp teeth! they were sharp like an animal.. something closer to a shark than anything human.. and you'd think that's weird enough but that's not even the weird part! .. she'd.. she'd been fired, two weeks before she gave me my food, for putting unmarked raw meat in peoples orders..

Which just.. how did she get my address? or get my order.. because the food was correct i remember that much! i mean.. there was raw meat in it.. but that's because i had ordered something with raw meat in it! so.. i think somehow.. that encounter with her might have.. made everything worse.. because looking at the dates.. i saw her the day before my skin moved.

I mean.. yeah? i guess.. i'm honestly shocked i haven't died yet! i mean.. uh.. if its any.. any sign of how bad things have gotten i am currently carrying two knives with me and that still doesn't feel like enough so! hahaa..

But that's.. not the important part right now, the important part is i looked into the novel, and i've figured out that it's likely not a Leitner- or.. well if it is then either i am the only one affected or the original owner is incredibly good at hiding the fact they are too- i should.. explain that actually-

So.. basically, i was trying to figure out where i could have gotten the book, looked into my past texts and all that stuff to see if i talked to anyone about getting it and well.. i did! turns out i had borrowed it from someone, so.. i got in contact with them again, they were.. obviously a bit concerned but i mean.. who wouldn't be with all the stuff i was asking! but.. they also told me that they hadn't experienced anything weird since obtaining the book, explained where they got it, and double checked that it wasn't from any library that had ever had Leitner in its name.. i think it's safe to say it isn't..

That's the.. good news? well, good news for you, and for the original owner, no cursed books! bad news for me since i am.. almost certainly fucked as i think i may have figured out.. well not what caused this, but what made it worse..

And yes, i do remember what the cover looked like, it was really pretty honestly.. i remember staring at pictures of it a lot.. it was all done in dark shades of an almost blood red, not like the type in movies but real blood, the way it looks when smeared on a page, along with black. the whole background was done in that dark red color, and it looked almost like it had been done with water colors.. there were two intricate black gates, closed and locked, you could see the chain wrapped around them, and in the foreground there were all these delicate looking roses, i remember because they looked like someone was somehow painting them with an eraser.. that doesn't sound like the right word really- but it was like whatever was used to make this cover had been removing color for the roses, and it gave them an incredibly interesting effect! finally there was an animal, curled up in front of the gates.. a cat i think? and i can't remember if it was dead or just asleep..

As for the title and where i could have gotten it? no idea! but i remember the author going by a name that was obviously an alias, think it even started with A- if you think there's anything weird about the novel i could try looking into it again, i doubt it would be too hard!
