What helped me figure out that I was a lesbian was trying to imagine a life with a man yk waking up to a man, a man holding me or kissing me also the fact that my partner wouldn’t have that feminine energy that elegance kinda vibe or her curves and sweet perfume and soft hands or sharing clothes and getting our nails done together.
I told myself I was gonna just be straight cuz of my homophobic parents and I cried for 2 days straight and that’s when I realised I’m only gonna be able to love a woman in such an intimate way.
🩷
That's so sweet stop, I'm so happy you came to terms with yourself and you sexuality 🫶🩷 and I'm so proud of you for that!!!

Her salvia trickled down 'n inbetween your foldes, her tongue flickering in circles, your vision hazey and your mind foggy, corroded with the sound of her heavy, lethal breaths, making you far beyond the feeling of being light headed and instead in paradise when she muttered into your cunt. The vibrations of her hush tone surging through you, "so fuckin' good" she said, your body trembled, your hips thrusting into her flexible tongue, you only wept in response. Unable to let any coordinated sentences escape your lips, and instead foul heaves for air, "that's 'm girl" she whispered. Massaging the inside of your thigh, her thumb grazing over the feild of hickeys she left of you, blood and bruises coloring your stretch marks like a renaissance painting. Your pussy throbbed, her mouth devouring you sinfully, every suckle louder than the last filling the quiet night air, erupting the crickets that had bothered you for weeks on end, "Ellie.." you almost begged, your fingers intertwined with the mess of her auburnette locs and strands, twirling them between your sticky wet tips, your walls clenching around her pink world of wonders that never seized to stop moving, every muscle throbbing with the feeling of your clit. "Fuck..." Your breaths shakey. It was world destroying, "Good 'girl" she'd say, palming you, slapping your pussy aggressively, yearning for the sweet and pleasures whines to fall from the tip of your tongue and into her ears.

"Fuck"
Her heavy and desperate footsteps dragging across the wooden floor boards, every shuffle louder than the last that you'd heard just before she knocked on the door.
Every night she did this, needily knocking on your door, yearning to relieve herself with your warm bodily fluids dripping down her slender fingers.
You lazily untangled yourself from the mixed up sheets, shivering at the cold atmosphere. You tip-toad to the door, the floor creaking like an alarm, in which you hoped the people sleeping just under you wouldn't hear.
The palace was old, every door and tile sounded at the mere touch of a toe, finger, breath, you had to pause whenever you heard a slight movement from the floor below.
You opened the door to Ellie, her eyes pleading for your body, your curves and moles gifted to you, woven at the finger tips of a goddess, your plush skin a land of wonders and bliss to the auburnette haired woman.
She was such a massive slut for you.
Your cunt throbbing at her nasty, smutty remarks. "'m needed m'good girl~ so horny" she slurred, moving her arm to open the door further, holding it just above your head, a dark tainted lustful look in her eyes, eyeing your already pointed buds. She bit her bottom lip, the sight of your body already sending her over the edge. Her hands reached for your hips in desperation, closing the door behind her as she forced you onto the mattress, the erotic sounds of your heaves filling the room, muffling between your obscene wet kisses. Her nails dug into your plush hips, your stretch marks being left with half moons in them, her tongue exploring every inch of your hot mouth like a new discovery, swallowing you whole. "Mmh~" you whined, your legs quivering into the sheets that shifted about under your supple skin. "Ellie..." Her kisses trailed down your neck in perfect ecstasy, every last one rougher than the last, you shuddering against her touch. You massaged the nape of her neck, her groans vibrating into your shoulder blades when you thrusted your hips up at her, your back arching in pain and anticipation, "steady'" her voice was low, ordering you as she devilishly pinned her knee between your legs, kneeing your clit teasingly, "shit— Ellie.. God~" you cried, your panties damp in your own produced liquids.
Your mind was hazey, her hands roaming your body, lifting your night gown. The fabric tickling your skin, leaving it naked, her tongue flicking at your nipples eagerly, sucking on them like a pacifier, devouring every inch of them, "fuck—"
"Y'like that, don't you' yeah.." she said, a chuckle slipping past her lips, cooing at your squinting eyes, your eye lashes fluttering and your mouth hanging wide, the feeling washing over you so dangerously. "That's m'pretty girl, so fuckin' wet for me, 'could destroy you right'now" she sucked on the sensitive perimeter around your buds, nibbling and biting at your boobs, chanting her name like an oh-so holy church song.
Her knee ruined you completely as she continued to blemish your skin in hickeys, a few shaped like butterflies, in comparison to the ones in the pit of your stomach, picking up and fleeing while your cunt tingled endlessly.
You were unstable, her hands cupping your ass cheeks, groping them to her content, whispering dirty praises into your ear, "y'feel so good baby' your bodys all mine.. mine.." Her voice was low, grinning against your neck, evilly. A philosophy written so effortlessly when she drew blood from your shoulder, flipping you over onto her thigh, holding your waist strongly in place, like a statue, never wanting you to leave her grip. "Like a fuckin' goddess.." she trailed off, her gaze grazing over your body, her look so thirsty for you. Her rings made you shiver, they clashed so coldly over your skin, feeling so vulnerable. You shook your head, disagreeing with her statement. "Say your a goddess" she darted, her nails seeping into your sides, demanding you. A Shakey moan slipping past your lips when she moved your hips, the friction against your pussy making it cry for more attention. "I want y'ta say it" she professed again, guiding your hips, you riding her thigh, your mind forgetting your own goddamn name and your vision clouding in unease, low and short whimpers leaving your mouth, defenselessly crying out her name as she forcefully pushed you to say it, your hands gripping her hair for dear life, "i—mm, I'm a goddess.." you groaned, rocking your hips on her, the sound of your liquids squelching on her naked lower body, "yeah, ur'mine, such a good girl fer'listening t'me" she said, she let go of your waist, watching you play with yourself on your own, her own request while you blissfully rode her, your panting filling the room, like some pornography video, the sound like music to her ears as you begged for an end on her, your climax nearing pitifully. "Please..." You cried, your legs shaking, the knot in your stomach unraveling so fast you almost couldn't see it coming, tears forming at the corner of your eyes. "C'mon you can do it, fer'me" she shushed you, rubbing your back, you painfully riding her through your climax, your cum dripping down her thigh into her own boxers, wet with not just yours but her own orgasm aswell.
You hopelessly fell against her barley managing to register the look on her face before she flipped you back on your back, watching you like a movie star, her words garbled into the delicacy of the warm skin on your neck "'m losing m'mind over you," she professed, her short nails digging into your thighs, spreading them open, your painful resistance failing as she smirked at you. "Fuck, Ellie, Please—" she slipped your panties off, so wet you wouldn't have been able to put them back on after this whole propaganda, she kissed the inside of your thighs, leaving a path of marks up until your throbbing, hurting cunt,
You were almost passed out by now, every inch of you trembling and flinching at her ringed fingers, teasing your entrance so fucking much you cried out her name so needy for her inside you, her pussy throbbing at the sound of her name foaming out your mouth repeatedly,
Your body was motionless, unable to even arch your back when she thrusted her fingers in you, the dirty sounds of your skin slapping corroding the air with the shaking bed, the walls creaking and your breaths heavy. You weakly tried to push her hand away, your legs bleakly trying to close, your bodily functions shutting down when she rasped out, her voice hoarse "don't resist" you palmed the sheets, pursing your lips fearful that your screams would awaken the entirety of the palace. "This t'much? Take me like a good girl." She whispered into your ear, curling her fingers up against your tight walls, "Ellie~" you whined. "So... Mm—" you failed to put words together, your brains and organs scrambled, she continuesly praised you, your body, your responses barley the ending of her name "Els—"
Your second orgasm falling through, the sticky substance staining her long fingers as she only thrusted harder, and faster, "fuu...!!" Your voice falling silent, only picking up paste, your cries and silent pleads straining her ears, "shh, it's okay babe" she assured, brushing through your hair, the beads of sweat rolling down every inch of your body, your cum still falling from your cunt.
"that's m'girl" she smiled, kissing your forehead, every part of your face, passionately.

Random but like Ellie did not go back to Jackson to look for Dina, LIKE ugh I love my babies so much and I really hope she did, but this is literally Ellie, she's probably too ashamed to go back to Jackson, knowing she left her family to kill Abby, which she never did, and in Tommys eyes not avenging Joel. It's so sad to think about because Dina and JJ are back in Jackson, Dina is struggling to live with herself not knowing if Ellie is alive, she probably spent every single night of when Ellie was gone sobbing herself sleep, thinking what her and Ellie had wasn't that important in the first place. And when you think about it, Tommy probably felt really bad when Ellie never came back, watching Dina around Jackson with JJ, knowing what he did and regretting it because it wasn't what Joel would've wanted. It's so sad to think about they're all quite literally the definition of that lovers/friends/family or wtv to strangers. It's so sad cause Jackson was probably the one other place she could've had a happy rest of her life. I hope that's not it, Infact I really do hope we get to see atleast SOMETHING along the lines of what happened in the remastered. My girls need a break.
Oh and don't get me started on Lev and Abby, I just know Abby couldn't live with herself after she let what happened with the rattlers happen. She probably stays up late into the night, practically up until like 5 watching over Lev, and he knows too and always assures her, not to mention she probably felt so destroyed about her hair, (I'm projecting) but I feel like she loved her hair so much, and in a way she probably felt so.. like, naked? That's not the word, but she definitely felt like. Apart of her was missing, and she definitely misses her body strength, Lev probably protects Abby more from now on, kinda like in the winter in tlou1 when Ellie's watching over Joel and providing for a while, it's that type of situation. I also like to think Abby felt so bad about what she'd done to Joel, not like over the top, of course she still thinks what she did was right, but after seeing how much it destroyed Ellie, considering the fact she hunted her down twice, murdered all her friends, almost kill her, and then the pain in her voice when she told her to go. She definitely has nightmares now that she knows what it was like for Joel with Ellie. I'm so sad for all of them :(

Waking up was a blur.
You layed in bed, Ellie again still not there in the dorm with you, just a replacement message that'd said she was out to breakfast with Ava.. for the second time this week, and it was only Wednesday, your body already giving away, how you couldn't get up due to your first work out at the gym yesterday thanks to Ellie.
And she couldn't bother stay and ease you through the pain. "This girl..." You sighed, getting up weakly, your muscles tensing up, every inch of you sore.
You felt nothing but annoyed as you got ready for yet another long day of college. Throwing on but an overused outfit you wore atleast twice every week, the sleeves themselves becoming ridiculously stretched out, the string cursing to be ripped out like a dagger stuck in your side, to which, up until now, you never did, liking the top too much to scrunch the sleeves like that.
You somehow made it to your first lecture. Only really surviving it thanks to the efforts of Dina, and Jesse, switching between the messages, asking to meet up after your third period when you'd all finally be together; including Ellie.
We have major shit to discuss!!
That party on Friday!
Jesse actually wants to go?
You raised your brow, the idea of Jesse actually wanting to do something social for once making you feel repulsed.
He doesn't have a choice..
All of us are going, even Ellie.
I thought she didn't wanna go?
It's about Ava..
Always is, isn't it?
You rolled your eyes, finding no more joy in talking to anyone, you apologized quickly to Dina, flipping your phone, and putting it back into your bag.
You couldn't do this again, Ellie in another fucked up relationship. Within three days Ava blew up and flooded your entire existence. Everyday just another excuse for Ellie not to show up at the dorm to be with you but instead with someone she'll never cross paths with again on that momentum. If she was going to be with way, 6 years ago you would've told yourself being in love with her was not worth it.
You gloomly watched the time go by, the clock so slow it almost made your mind explode from anticipation, not only that, but Ava. 3rd period would be where it all goes down, in your seats would not be you and Ellie, just Ava, and Ellie, you'd been in that class for 2 years, and had never once heard the name "Ava" you couldn't muster up any words, nor coherent thoughts that explained what you were feeling about all this. You drew on the hard surface before you, leaving the pencil stains across it like a mark and then packed up, rubbing your eyes exhaustedly.
Your second class had been the exact same, the same students raising their hands and talking, speaking too much irrelevant information. Whilst you sat there with your hand on your lap, just barley comprehending. And to your dismay, also missing Ellie.
Or rather, you missed Ellie before these horrificly mind playing feelings for her sprouted in the depths of your heart. And when she wasn't nearly such a push over with almost every other woman on campus. You entirely blamed it on the coming ending of 9th grade.
When she finally learnt how to play your favorite song on her guitar.
She talked about it at school all the time, how it was a work in progress, that you couldn't listen till she mastered your favorite song to play for you, that you always thought stupid, especially now, that your feelings were so strong because of her dedication to you. You slept at her house that night, staying up late into the dark, you sat silently on the floor, watching as she adjusted herself at the foot of her bed, nervously tuning the guitar while the moon light flooded her bedroom, clashing with her fairy lights. " 'm nervous" she mumbled, her hair falling from behind her ear that was painted a shy pink, it spreading to her cheeks. "Don't be!" You assured her, a smile so sweet on your lips. "You've been talking about this for months, I'm happy you're finally deciding to show me" she pursed her lips, warming up her fingers, her eye lashes fluttering when she looked down to the strings, her breathing uneven. "Okay.." her voice hoarse and shakey. Her finger strum the corde gently, the sound ringing through the room like a melody.
The tune filled your ears, every strum strong, steady, your heart throbbed at the persecuted cordes, you silently watched, her fingers nipping and sliding against the strings, the practicing had payed off, clearly putting so much time into it, her eyes squinting, so very focused on her hand work.
The soft spoken sound of her voice began to rope in with her guitar, every word relaxing and pleasing. It was like the wind, the slight breath of air she took after a long sentence, her words falling silent at the ending vowels, her bracelets clinking just under the tone of her voice. Its when the butterflies at the pit of your stomach picked up, your lower abdomen tingling when you reached, rubbing it with your hand. After that, your heart began to flutter around her, your pupils practically shaping into hearts when you saw her, all from that small experience, where it felt like you were her everything, like you were her person, the one she'd give away her short life to, that's what it felt like, in the moments you were her only interest, when she calmed you down during an anxiety attack, or held your hand when you were too scared to get lost, or even when she held you at sleepovers during the cold nights.
Alas, you were now only sitting in your third lecture. The crooked thought of her grin when she'd finished playing the guitar for you slipping away from your mind when she whispered into your ear about how she'd caught Ava staring at least 4 times now. "If you were out to breakfast with her, you two could've been foaming out the mouth for eachother beside eachother." You scoffed. "I mean, who walks into class together, after a date, and not sit beside eachother?" You groaned, resting your head on your hot palm. Her whispers tickling your skin. "Wanted t'sit with you" she smiled, a dorky look on her face. "Oh, how kind, the so lovely Ellie Williams, chose me, over her beautiful love" you teased, "you should' feel 'special" her toothy grin only growing wider as she layed her head on your shoulder. "Oh, no, I'm honoured." Your bones tensing at her touch. You ignored how she repeatedly turned her head to the long haired brunette, her devilish eyes twinkling whenever Ellie stole another glance at her. You almost felt sick. "Y'think she's jealous?" She chuckled into your arm. "Gosh, I don't know Ellie, I wonder how she feels watching her little crush lay her head on the shoulder of another" you sighed. "Bet she's..." She trailed off, "uh, so... Last night, y'left the gym, y'seemed really upset, are y'sure your 'right?" Her eyes looking up at you, hints of worry traced within her tone. "Yes Ellie, I'm fine" you cleared your throat. "I was just sore, and tired, and you seemed just about done too, so, I left" you whispered. "If y'say so, I dunno... Y'just seem sad" she nodded. "I'd hate if I'made y'upset" she huffed, her hot breath hitting your chest like a wall. "I'm fine, don't worry" you smiled, your heart collapsing on itself at the thought of her caring about you, understanding you. You patted her head gently, momentarily forgetting about Ava.
Before you knew it, you, Jesse, Ellie, and Dina were walking down the street, planning your weekend excessively. "So... Jesse, you have no choice but to be at the party" Dina chuckled evilly. "Yeah, 'I'guess so." He sighed. "I don't even think I wanna go anymore" you crossed your arms. "Why not?!" Dina cried, stopping midway to grab your shoulders firmly. "Y'know why.." you lowered your voice. "Oh, please, just forget about it, for me?!" She pouted, "fine" you smiled playfully.
"Agh, great! Party on Friday all of us!"

Tumblr media
You sat in your last lecture of the day, writing down notes for your next exam, your brain clouded with everything but the test itself. Just Ellie. How it was you, again, and no one else, to go out with her to the gym, hopelessly gawk at her perfect and strong body, while she so effortlessly lifted weights, and instead of studying for your future, studying the workings of her toned self.
You thought about what Dina said, how you should just expose yourself for your true feelings, let it trinkle out, in hopes she'd understand; Which, Dina thought she would. But you couldn't bring yourself to do it, to lose what you had, even if it wasn't much more than innocent hugs and hand holding. You still wanted more than anything to keep that. It was better, even if she left you through out it all, at least she came back again. Her relationships didn't last long anyways.
You drifted from your studies, doodling your favourite things along your sheet, writing Ellie's initials, her eyes, even her severly detailed tattoo. You couldn't even control it, you memorized every line and curve of it, subconsciously, counted her freckles, noticed the small beads of brown in her transparent like green eyes.
The time only went by slower and slower, the tick of the clock only sounding once in what seemed like a blue moon. At some point just tuning out the annoying sound of your professors voice, replacing it with Ellie's raspier one in your mind.
It finally hit you when the bell rang, signaling the end of the class. You quickly packed up your note books and pencils, politely waving goodbye to your teacher, and walked out.
Your heart began to pound violently, pleading for a way out of your chest, the thought of Ellie's so visible abs right infront of you, nothing on but her sports bra, a loose pair of sweatpants, and a sweaty towel draped over her shoulders as she smirked at you, asking you how she was doing, you couldn't wait for it to happen all over again.
You found yourself back at your dorm, out of breath, your veins pulsing rapidly underneath the touch of your finger pads. Your sweater unzipped to the max, the sleeves falling off of your shoulders at the speed of a snail. You unlocked the door, closing it behind you.
"Ellie!" You shouted, throwing your tote bag to the leathery couch. " 'm in the bedroom!" She replied, your heart skipping a beat. You anxiously walked to the creaked open door, unbothering to lift your sleeve back up your shoulder, you fidgetted with your fingers.
"Hey" you smiled, forcing yourself to not look at every inch of her body. "Hey" the sound of excitement pitched deep within her voice, it amazed you how she could keep so cool around you, then again, you were madly in love with her and she wasn't.
"How was your last 'lecture" she asked, lazily doing her hair up in a messy ponytail. "Alright, insanely boring though" you laughed. "I had a feelin', texted' you" she flashed you a grin, your legs beginning to feel weak, wobbly like jello, you felt your knees buckle, your composure lifting too quickly. "Did you?" You gasped, flipping your phone out of your pocket to check it. "Oh, you did.." your heart throbbing, her thinking about you, it made your thoughts hazey. "Yeah, 'm leaving soon, you gonna' work out too?" She asked, tieing her shoelaces, the veins in her forearm flexing as she did so, you gazed in awe. "Ellie.. you know I don't know how any of that stuff works, you ask me everytime, and I always say no." You crossed your arms, she stood up, walking up to you, a playfully fake pout upon her soft peach pink lips, "Aw 'c'mon! I'll teach you 'how!" She pleaded, playing with your arms teasingly. "Oh, will you, now?" You laughed. "Yeah, I'll! Go, get 'ready!" Her hands messed with the strings of your hoodie, twirling them between her finger tips, you gave in. "Mm.. fine" you forced her hands off your chest, hovering over them just a bit longer before stepping away, "I'll be quick" you informed. Quickly running to the bathroom to slip on a pair of sweatpants and a black sports bra, keeping your hoodie just incase, the dried blood stains still on it, you hesitantly took off your jewelry and closed the light to the bathroom.
"Ready!" You shouted, walking out of the room, she had her bag ready, just a few pieces of equipment you had no knowledge or explaination for.
Her shoulder brushed against yours, exiting the dorm for the second time today, "Uh, so, why'd you leave for breakfast so early this morning?" You asked, "Met 'up with someone" she scratched the back of her ear, her rings clinking together, a cold sound being produced silently. "Oh?" Your breath hitched, a feeling of a sick horrid taste coming up your throat, pushing it down with a gulp. "Uhm, who?" You followed up on your last question. "This 'girl, in'our Math class.." she started. "Turns'out she's been in'na me for a'while" she played with her rings. "She's sweet." She spoke lovingly of yet another girl. Your heart shattering, having lost another opportunity you could've snatched yourself. "You like her?" You cleared your throat, opening the door for her to leave the college campus. "Dunno, 'think so, we'been talking." She adjusted the bag on her shoulder. "Mm.. right," you scoffed, the jealousy corroding your brain the more you heard about the damned girl in your 3rd period. "Whatever, just don't complain to me when another one of your girls gets bored with you." You rolled your eyes, increasing your walk speed, suddenly not wanting to see any inch of her at all. "Hey! 'The fuck?" She grabbed your arm, pulling you back into her, her grip inescapably strong. "What's your problem? 'S hearin'me complain that fuckin' painful?" She wrinkled her brows, the soft breaths escaping her nose onto your neck. "I dunno, Ellie somtimes it is, when it's the same shitting story all the time" you sighed, knowing her touch was only sending you over the edge, your body shivering subtly to her rings up against your arm. " 't hasn't mattered the last 'hundred times." She pointed out, her hand softening around you. "Ellie, it's not you, it's how you so easily trust them that pisses me off." You freed from her touch, eternally screaming at how warm her fucking body was, you prayed to god to stay there for longer, for the rest of your life, if she wasn't moving on from women every other week. "I mean, do you even know this girls name, her favorite drink?" You adjusted your bra, she stood silently, the streets empty on the way to the gym, only a few cars driving by once in a while. "Ava" she muttered, the air deteriorating with strong smelling chemicals, "and her last name?" You shifted your weight on only one of your legs. She averted her gaze, staring at the street lights rather than your face. "That's what I thought." You said, blankly. "I just don't trust them anymore.. You always say their different, and they never are" you frowned, guilt writing on your face like a fairy tail book. "Ellie?"
"No, I get it." She reached for her ear again, scratching it from the high nerve flying around the atmosphere. " 'm sorry" her eyes softened. "Don't be, I just.. I don't want to watch you get hurt again." You looked to the ground. " I'know" her voice quiet, understanding. The souls of her sneakers scratched the pebbles of the cement, the noise filling the fresh evening air. She stopped infront of you, wrapping her arms around your neck, embracing you in an apologetic hug, to which you hesitantly hugged her back, your feelings subsiding, only feeling sorry for your outburst. Her soft skin clashing with yours making you feel as if you were melting, warmly caressing the small of her back, "we good?" She whispered into your ear, the familiar tickle sending butterflies swarming. "Yeah, let's just go to the gym, yeah?" You gave her a last squeeze to her nod.
You walked into the gym about a few blocks away, getting settled in the locker room, a few other women there giving you odd, judgemental looks. "It's okay, you'seen me do this 'bouta million times, you got 'this" she assured you, taking your sweater from you, tucking it in the locker. "There's a difference between seeing you do it.... And then doing it myself" you watched as she took out the familiar towl. She chuckled at your remark, gesturing that you follow her to her usual, where you'd always sit and watch, possibly reading, or just texting Dina.
"We're gonna start liftin' weights" she said, choosing what seemed like the heaviest one, but probably wasn't. "Y'know what th'best form is, right?" She asked, raising her eyebrow, a sly smile on her face, you shook your head, watching her lean over, her arms flexing as she lifted the weight, holding it behind her neck, it going just above her head and then back down to her nape, in a rhythmic pattern. 'Y'see that?" She asked, biting her lip at the arm workout. "Mm-hmm" you hummed, your eyes only fixated on the beads of sweat rolling down her neck, in which they sparkled ever so slightly in the right lighting. "Come'n try" she switched over to another weight. "What, you think I can't lift heavier?" You stared at the low number, smirking at her. "No, I'know y'can't" she chuckled, watching you bend over to pick up the skinny, handles.
"I feel so confident in myself." You scoffed, fixing your legs to open wider, slightly in a squatting position, your thighs clenching at the forceful stance. You had to admit you were a bit messy, your handle work uncoordinated, and your legs wobbly. "Mm.." she squinted her eyes. "Here' " she breathed. Her hands ticklishly slithering around to your hips, forcing your ass against her crotch, the friction building at the cost of nothing, guiding you silently; you learnt by experience, after all. Your brain was cloudy, your mind corroding with her devilish working hands, and her wispy breaths up against your bare neck. You couldn't grasp anything, but only the feeling of her up against you making your breath catch in your closing up throat. "Maybe squat more'" she advised, lowering your body forward, bending you over subtly, her nails still engraving half moons into your stretch marks on your hips.
You heaved a desperate sigh, her hands exploring you like a feild day. "Y'got it?" She whispered, sending shivers down your spine, your skin beginning to feel cold and bumpy.
The dreams you'd have tonight were already making the space between your legs heat up uncontrollably. Your shower was going to be a few minutes longer than usual, imagining her hands roaming you like an unexplored island, all whilst she'd be in the living room, eating away at the just bought groceries, while you painfully strained yourself from yelling her name in bliss and pleasure.
You cautiously nodded your head, pursing your lips from opening, afraid the next time you do, the slightest sound would slip past them. "Good, try on your'own," she removed her hands, the soft tips of her fingers leaving you alone, you almost sobbed, missing the touch of her skin already.
You lifted the weight above your head, a grunt leaving your mouth at the third thrust up. "There y'go, atta' girl" her voice was raspy, your heart pounding at the praise. "Thank you" you mumbled, feeling shy, your body's physical reactions all too much to handle.
You'd continued to lift weights later on into the evening, shifting between leg work outs, and glutes, all of which you sucked tremendously, her teasing throwing you off your not very high horse before she suddenly paused. "Hold 'up" she grabbed her phone, checking it intensely. Seeming as if someone had texted her. "What is it?" Your lips agap, "'ts Ava." Her smile grew wider, your heart quenching at the sudden shift in her mood, all for one other woman she'd be over in a week. "oh?" You looked to your sneakers. "b'right back'" she winked, signaling she was taking her call, you watched as she walked away.
Her smile never leaving her lips. You watched them move intently, trying to form words of which you understood, "I'll see you then?" Her slit brow raising in satisfaction, like she hadn't been through this before, she knocks them up, then forgets they happened because either of them got bored, it was terrifying how she liked this so called Ava no last name. She probably didn't even know how many siblings she had, if she had any.
You watched her for a total of 10 minutes as apposed to finally realizing she wasn't going to be done any time soon. You'd packed up and left, changing into your still stained hoodie, leaving her there to walk back alone, the jealousy overwhelming your train of thought.
You walked back to campus in disbelief, how she could've stayed on the phone all night with Ava if she wanted, no distractions, you wouldn't be surprised if Ellie hadn't even noticed you were gone.
You unlocked the door to your dorm, locking it again before getting undressed and changed into your silk pjs, taking out a dvd to watch but another movie, just on your own. Pitying yourself for your hate towards every other woman Ellie loved.
You checked your phone, Ellie's name plastered across the screen with the number 4 beside it.
Y/n?
What the fuck?
Why'd you leave?
You okay?
Just tired, I guess, sorry, left without you.
Really? Sorry I was on the phone so long.
Did you get back safely?
Yeah.
Alright then, I'll be on my way soon
k, goodnight.
You turned over, leaving your phone flipped off, not wanting anything more than just for the day to be over. Your dreams overtaking your mind and the events replaying like a movie. You'd only hoped that Ellie wouldn't overthrow you with Ava's sweet words and piercing gaze, as Ellie put it, you only wanted tomorrow to be a less dreadful day.

Tumblr media
Your heart belonged with Ellie Williams.
You knew that for the longest of time now. You strived to be in her presence, to hold her when you saw her after a long period of time. You wanted but nothing other than to kiss her, and tell her your otherworldly thoughts you had about her late at night.
And yet, you didn't. You never did because Ellie always had someone. You'd never once a day in your life ever gotten much as close as a peck on her lips. Other than being her best friend, you were nothing more than another one of those girls who were head over heels for her, and reasonably so. Her lips were a peachy wonder, her fuchsite colored eyes better than any of the planets the world knew of, her freckles painted like stars, and her auburn hair soft, not to mention, you'd felt her arms more than a million times, they only got more muscular over the years, and her stomach was so toned, you were lucky you were the only other person in the world besides Ellie's constant line of "the one's" to see it.
It was nothing new to you when she'd come to you again, ranting about how shitty another one of those girls had been to her after she'd given them everything they asked for, her head layed gently on your lap, your fingers tangled in her messy bright hair. "I mean, 'fuck was she thinking." she fidgetted with her hands, groaning at her once again failed relationship. " 'm so done with these whores." She complained. "Then why are you still bothering?" You subconsciously rolled your eyes, your mind fogging with the jealousy. "Just fucking drop them" you bit your lip, fisting at the sheets of your bed in the palm of your hand, angrily.
" 'm over it" she sighed, watching you grab your flip phone. "who's' it?" She raised a brow, "just Jesse, wants to know what I'm doing." You replied, your fingers still twirling her hair softly. "Tell'im your busy" she grabbed the miniscule device, typing out the sorry reply and throwing your phone to the dark corner of your guys's room, it landing just barley on the sofa chair. "What the hell, Ellie?" You furrowed your brows at her, " 'm talkin' to you, he can' wait" her voice was low, begging for your attention. You didn't understand sometimes why she always came to you with her bullshit, she had everyone in your friendgroup to go to, and you were always the one who had to comply. "He gives me shit tomorrow, I'm putting the blame on you." You stopped playing with her hair. "See how it plays out for'im" she grinned, "yeah, whatever" you chuckled. Your gaze not leaving hers, the sounds of only your breathing filling the dimly lit room, the light reflecting off the millions of photos hung up on the wall. It was the moments like these ones that compelled you. Her lips and demeanor utmost hypnotizing, her eyes acting like a wormhole, swallowing your dignity, the irresistible urge to confess to her right then and there eating you alive, all while she unknowingly complained about all those nobodys you were oh so envious of. You imagined what it was like, her ruining you in bed, whispering the sweetest things into your ear, and then after taking care of you like a pitiful worthless princess, you dreamed about it so often, you knew the plot of every one of them that repeated night after night, yearning for it to all come true. "Movie?" She asked, her plush fingers tapping your hand that rested on her shoulder motionless. Her light eyes looking up at you, " 'k." You replied vaguely. Moving from beneath her head, you walked to the square shaped television, "which one?" You picked up the dvds uptop the disc player, squatting down, showing her the options. " 'Dunno..." she scanned the movies, "Laura" she hummed, watching you slip the dvd in, the disc player eating it. You grabbed the half empty bag of potato chips that had been on the night table for three nights already, plopping down next to Ellie, her head resting on your shoulder, her breaths calmly blown onto your bare skin, making the hairs on the scruff of your neck stand up, and the butterflies in your lower abdomen picking up like a migration. You left the chips between the two of you, her hand reaching frequently to grab a handful.
You were never this tense to her touch, you used to melt into it, absent mindidly excepting it. Now you were only overstimulated. The goosebumps spreading through out your body as her hands swiftly brushed past your hips, when she wanted you to move to the side at the gym. Or even when her breath tickled your lobe when she whispered nonsense into your ear during lectures.
You were naive.
Your mind only filling shamefully with the thought of her being yours and yours only, and in a way, she was... Platonically. The way you were the one she always came back to, or how you so innocently held hands in large crowds, or when you went out to clubs late at night, and then she'd ghost you, a limit of contact when she'd met another desperate woman, most of the time not on purpose, and others the women she dated pleading for her to cut contact with you out of jealousy.
"You feelin' alright'?" She raised her head, stretching her arms, a faint groan leaving her lips as her wife beater lifted so slightly, exposing her happy trail. "No, I'm fine," you shook your head. Your eyes fixated on her lower stomach "Why?"
"Well for starters, you' 'been starin' at everything' not the movie" she scoffed. "Was I?" You raised a brow, smirking playfully, "Yeah, you were'!" She chuckled. "Whatever, I'm fine, just tired." You stood up, "I'm gonna get ready for bed." You told her. "Y'sure?" She asked, concern masking her voice. "Yeah" you picked at the dead skin on your thumb. "Goodnight" she frowned slightly, still helplessly feeling worried, "g'night."
It must've been late when you finally managed to have fallen asleep that night. Ellie still managing to hover over your dreams, her painfully soft lips clouding your brain. Only waking up to your bed an uncomfortable mess, yet Ellie wasn't anywhere to be found around the dorm room. You messily grabbed your phone, flipping it open to see a few unread messages, 2 from Jesse, and another from the missing female that lived in your dorm.
"Told her he'd give me shit" you sighed, as for Ellie, she'd sent only a mere photo, she'd gone out for breakfast, to no surprise without you.
You got up from the lumpy mattress, lazily fixing the bed to look presentable, before moving to get ready, the thought of Ellie floating around in your head like a balloon, fixated on the again, repeated dream, the unreal words she'd said repurposing at the front of your thoughts. You brushed your teeth, rapidly doing your hair the way you always did, a hum of satisfaction slipping past your lips when you'd finished. You threw on a pair of low rise jeans, adjusting them around your hips in the mirror, a laced tank following, sticking to your figure like velcro. You finished up finally, zipping up your grey sweater only half way and slinked on your heavy tote bag over your shoulder.
You walked down from your floor, checking your phone again, texts from Dina popping up on the blurry screen.
Is Ellie with you?
Are you up?
Y/n?!
I'm only just leaving our dorm now, and no. Why?
You texted her back, drawing blood from your lip as you continuesly bit at it stressfully.
I thought she'd be with you since I hadn't seen her in English, earlier.
No she went out for breakfast without either of us, lol.
Why am I not surprised? Where are you?
You could already invision Dina rolling her eyes from behind the screen, making you grin widely, you wiped the blood off your lip, staining the cotton grey of your sweater, the dots of blood trailing around the wrist of your sleeve.
I'll meet you in the courtyard?
You texted, pausing at the door of the staircase to the first floor, patiently watching the dots dance around in a pattern.
See you there!!
You closed your phone, tucking it in the detailed back pocket of your jeans.
You thought it weird how Ellie would just leave for breakfast without you, or rather the idea itself wasn't so mindblowing, but rather she didn't wake you up, instead sending a measly single photo of some overrated restaurant down the street from your dorms, even her leaving so early, before you waking up, making you feel uneasy. Of course, you didn't control, and couldn't dictate her life, so you let it be, packaging it up and tossing it in the back of your mind, knowing it'd probably come back to haunt you.
"Y/n!" You heard Dina's heart warming voice in the distance, running towards you in a hurry. "Hey Dina!" You grimaced, indulging her in an embrace. Her hair brushing against the skin of your neck like a feather. "You okay?" She asked. "Jesse complained to me last night about how you blew him off—"
"It was Ellie" your eyes rolled back into your head annoyed. "Figured" she laughed, "what was her deal?" She raised her thick and full eyebrow. "Just another dumb break up." You huffed. "Mm..." She fixed her ponytail. "You ever gonna tell her how you feel?" She questioned, " 'prolly not' " you smiled at her weakly. "She wouldn't get it" you scratched the nails of your fingers, the nail polish chipping off them like dust. "Oh, please! You don't know thatt" her hands rested on her hips. "I know enough" you frowned. "I'm a bit hungry, d'you wanna grab a bite to eat before our next lecture?" You asked, "No, yeah, sure." She grinned, rubbing your shoulder calmly. Her jokes lightening the gloomy atmospheric pressure, and Ellie slowly slipping from your mind.
Dina was the only one who really knew about your feelings for Ellie. You'd gotten high with her one night at her apartment, the tension bouncing off the walls like a ball, and the idea of foolishly confessing things you'd never told anyone before being brought to light, you mindlessly told her about your romantic feelings for Ellie, and then kissed her due to the intoxication, blissfully tasting her like a full course meal. Then endlessly cried in her arms for god knows how long, tears staining your cheeks as your complaints about all the pitiful women who Ellie'd dated foamed out your mouth.
"You think Jesse will agree to going to that party?" She asked, biting into her hot chocolate chip muffin." Maybe if you lied to him and told him it was a study group" you giggled, still removing the textured paper from yours. "Yeah, you're probably right" exiting the cafe, "why the hell do you think Ellie just left like that?" Dina suddenly brought up. "Not sure, it's so... Out of character for her, I don't know.." You trailed off, still yourself trying to figure it out, that box of wonders at the back of your mind resurfacing and unraveling the unanswered question. "Right? Even the photo you said she sent... Weird." She took another bite.
You entered campus again, slipping past millions of other girls and boys your age. Gossiping, and giving eachother snarky looks, and then others quietly getting around to make their future worth it.
"Hey, look! It's Jesse! He has Ellie with him" Dina gasped, covering her mouth from the crumbs of the muffin flying out. "Jesse!" You called, waving your arm high, "Dina, Y/n..." He rolled his eyes. "Jesse, has Ellie told you it was Infact she, that sent the message." He dramatically cupped his lips. "Did she, now?!" He furrowed his brows jokingly. "It was me'n'Y/n time, wasn't 'bouta have you' ruin it." She smirked. "We're all friends here, I feel like she should've gotten the luxury of texting me back" Jesse scolded. "Jerk" Ellie scoffed, a smile plastering across her lips playfully. "Y/n, 'm headed to the gym t'night, 'you wanna come?" She asked. You looked to Dina nervously, accepting her offer.
"Nice" she smiled.

You'd come down from your high, your very exposed and weak body laying on the couch next to Ellie, her hands massaging your body as you rested your head on her shoulder, still in after shock of the crime to your 13 year old self you'd just commited. Though you were relaxed, you had so many questions. "Why did I do that?" You gasped, hands clasping over your mouth, your eyes wide. "Uh, what?" Ellie asked, furrowing her brows. "Ellie! I just had sex with you, what the fuck?" You cried. Looking down at the mess you'd made across the room; clearly have gone too many rounds than you should've. "You said you wanted to show me who was boss—"
"Don't! Shut it!" You angrily yelled. Still trying to be nice, only years of history that you always wanted to kill eachother. "I need to leave" you sighed, not even wanting to face her anymore, all you could see when you closed your eyes were her her hands all over your body, it made you sick.
"What— why?!" She asked, "Ellie, this is abnormal—" you put your hand to your forehead, rubbing it lightly, trying to remove the unholy visions from your thoughts. "Can we please talk about what happened?" She begged, her hair a mess from your doing. You heaved another sigh. "Fine" you put on you bra, slowly clothing yourself as Ellie spoke. "What does this... What just happened, I mean, mean?" She looked down, fidgeting with her sticky hands. "Ellie I don't know." You said aggravated. "It was.. I was being impulsive, I don't know what that was, or why I did it." You slipped on your panties. Adjusting your many necklaces before seating next to her on the couch. "So you did all that out of pity?" Her eyes moving around the room unable to maintain eye contact. "That's not what I'm saying, I'm just, confused." You fell back on the arm of the couch. "I don't know how I feel..." You said, knowing in the back of your mind you'd just had the most life changing sex known to the world. "But I know how I feel." Her voice hoarse. "Oh, really?" You sat up. "Yes, really" she said. "So I should forgive you for being an asshole because I had sex with you" her breath hitched. "Why would you, if you had no feelings for me?" Ellie raised her eyebrow."I already told you, I don't know" you crossed your arms. "Why not? You can't just—" you paused her. "Can't just what? Have sex with you? You can't just catch feelings and just expect me to suddenly fall head over heels." You frowned, her eyes fixated on her hands again. You almost felt bad. She suddenly opened her mouth, closing it again, "what is it?" You asked. "Can't we just start over" she pleaded, her eyes clearly filled with guilt. "Ellie you're making this so fucking hard" you sighed. "Start over how?" You questioned. "I'll treat you right." She frowned, her hands finding your thighs, massaging them softly. "Uh huh.." you raised a brow. Suddenly taking notice of the sun rise. "Oh shit—" you gasped. Looking at the grandfather clock propped up against the wall by the locked door to the tea room. "It's 6 AM already?" You got up quickly. "I left Elisa— fuck" you sighed. "I could take you home" she stood up, remembering how tall she was. You heart clenched. "Come on" she grabbed your hand, your lower abdomen fluttering as she warily walked you up to her room. She opened her door, closing it quietly behind her. "I'll get you one of my old gowns, assuming it'll fit you—" you stopped her. "No it's okay, I can just wear whatever you wear.." you averted your gaze to the guitar at the corner of your room that hadn't been there two years ago. "I see you've found a new hobby?" You joked. "Shh" she laughed, pulling out suit bottoms and a blouse, "thanks," you said, turning to look at the mess you were in the mirror. "I'm fucked"
"technically you were" she teased. "Har-har" you rolled your eyes, slipping on the clothes she'd given you, "it'll have to do" you sighed, wiping off the rest of your make up and taking off your tiara, leaving it on her vanity. "Elisa's gonna be so pissed" you frowned, taking off the pearls, only keeping the locket your father had given you. "Who's this Elisa?" She asked, a strange tone behind the question. "You jealous" you joked. "What?! No— who is she?"she inquired again. "My friend. I came as her plus one before— the unfortunate chain of events.." you trailed off. "Mhm" she shook her head. "I have to go now, seriously" you said sternly. "Right" she awkwardly opened the door for you "Thank you" You couldn't imagine what you were doing, all that hatred just for you both to just get absolutely ruined? You followed her down the hallways, still forcing yourself to not throw the nearest thing to you at her. Once you'd gotten outside a carriage was already waiting for you, "Well, alright then.." you got upon it. "I guess.. uh, have a nice... Rest of your week?" You improvised, impulsively putting words together. "Sure" she looked at the ground kicking her feet, you hasn't realized how shy she was under all that... Assholeness. "Wait" she called. "Yes?" You turned your head towards her. "Come by... Next week— Friday." She demanded. "What for?" You asked. "Just do it" she said sternly, to which you listened.
The week had flown by before Friday had arrived, you once more in your fancy dresses and tiaras. You pulled up your shawl as you arrived at the castle, your father unknowing of it all. She stood there to greet you, a shy look on your face, you had to admit besides all her horrid manners and history with you, she'd been adorably trying to make it up to you, sending flowers to your castle all week, sending her the songs she'd been working on dedicated to you. It made you feel so loved despite how much you felt hated by her before. She waved. "Hello" you smiled. Still awkward. "Can I know, why you needed me here now?" She helped you down the carriage. "Not just yet" Her voice was raspy, a tint of happiness between her eyes. "That's weird" you crossed your arms. "Who tells someone to be over, and then not have them know why" you followed her into the castle. "It's... A surprise." She played with her fingers. "Sure" you rolled your eyes, "you'll like it" she insisted, leading you into the castle gardens, the bright tulips and daffodils covering the ground in colorful bliss. "Alright" you grinned, following her to the center feild, a picnic blanket set out with fruits and crabcakes dispatched. "Oh my goodness!" You clasped your hands over your lips that hung wide. "How'd you know—" you asked foolishly. "Dumbass" she slipped. "Oh, fuck you" you laughed, running excitedly to the blanket. Patting her to sit by you. "I love it" your eyes softened when she flashed a toothy grin.
You stuffed your face with the mini sandwiches, laughing at her remarks, sharing silly stories from the days you'd been at eachothers throats, and her hands pointing at the weird beauty marks she'd always hated when she was younger. "Seriously?" You choked on a few strawberries "Seriously!—" she chuckled. "It made me hate you so much" you laughed at her, tackling her over, your gown swallowing her lower body whole. "Bet you don't feel that way now" you pinned her shoulders down, smirking at her, letting the past slip away like a sail boat. "Yes, it's quite the contrary, actually." Her hands holding your hips in place. "Funny" you leaned in subconsciously, tucking her hair behind her ear. "What do you really like about me?" You inquired. She massaged your thighs from under the soft fabric. "You're difficult" she grinned. "What are you saying?" You raised a brow, taking it offensively. "Not like that!" She denied quickly. "I just like how you have strong opinions and are not afraid to prove people wrong" She explained, "really?" You asked, red covering your face like the ice that spreads through lakes and rivers. "Yes! Dina always liked that about you, now that I think of it." She trailed off. Your face only getting closer, your lips only mere inches apart, the warm breath spreading through the negative space. You connected your lips, warm and tasting like berries when you licked her bottom lip, your lower abdomen tingling when she held your waist like a mere object. "Mm~" your moan muffled in her mouth as she explored yours like she hadn't a million times the weekend prior, like it was her first time again, you held her cheeks tightly. Her grip around you only increasing for you deepening the kiss each time she tilted her head, your necklace swinging against her neck, hitting her like tiny needles, her groans vibrating through it. Her hands roamed your body, the dress sliding and hooking up on her light unnoticeable hairs that stood up, the trembling making her goosebumps act up as you desperately grinded your hips up on her, riding her ever so slightly while the friction built up, her needy moans and desire filled whines increasing with her nails continuing to leave half moons in your hips like hickeys. You lazily trailed kisses down her neck, sucking occasionally, licking each and every bite mark easing the pain as she winced at it. "Fuck" she panted. Her fingers tangled in your hair and every moan slightly louder than the last. "You're so cute it's destroying my thought process" you seductively whispered in her ear, the truth only spilling out more to her soft intricate moans, her eye lashes twitching closed. Her words became uncoordinated, your name only watering out like a stream, the mess of your hair, and your dress tipping over the basket of berries. "Shit" you jolted. "Forget 'bout it." Her voice was raspy, needy and her hands were playing with the insides of your thighs, so desperately trying to stop herself from massaging your clit till you couldn't move. You continued to build up the friction, tracing bite marks down her collar bone, a pattern erupting from your lipglass stained teeth, her legs trembling uncontrollably. "God I can't —" Ellie pleaded. "More—" she begged, her hands squeezing your thighs, the heat between her legs growing as you messily made out with her. Your smirk growing against her lips when you felt her arching her back towards you. You'd had your fun, flipping off of her to lay beside her. "Agh, what the fuck?!" She cried, "sorry" you laughed, her complaints filling the spring air. "You are not" she rolled her eyes. "And youre not wrong" you played with her hair. Your smile growing wider.
Tumblr media
It had been months since the encounter, your constant stays at her castle, your love struck gaze at her when she played the guitar for you instead of how she used to practice her archery on a dumb outdated drawing of you. You'd almost completely fell for her, luckily; Elisa forgave you, overjoyed about your current love life and how happy and comfortable you were, Ellie meant more to you than you ever thought she would. You held hands in the streets, ate dinner on a weekendly basis, went on late night walks together, attended events, and suddenly two years ago didn't matter anymore, all that mattered was she'd changed, and happily the idea of being with someone you'd known inside and out your whole life kept you at ease. So when it came to the idea of proposing , the idea of being together, for the rest of your lives, ideally, it would've been the perfect response to say yes. You knew you felt strongly about her. Regardless of what'd happened, you learned to embrace it. You just weren't ready, walking through the forest between your kingdoms, she'd asked, "how would you feel if we... I don't know, were engaged again?" She asked shyly, her hand holding yours tightly in fear. "Uhm.. I don't know.. I'm not sure if I'd even want that to happen" you replied, honestly. "Why not?" Her tone changed suddenly, her brows furrowing in confusion. "Well I don't know.. I'm just... Not ready.. I mean, it's only been a few months that we've... Felt this way?" You struggled to put into words, her coming to an abrupt stop to cross her arms, letting go of your hand. "Are you seriously upset over something like that?" You asked, "Not upset, just confused, what's to think about?" She asked curiously, a lace of subtle rudeness behind the calm tone she kept. "What do you mean what's there to think about?" You rebuttaled. "Well I mean, we've known eachother all our lives and I know I love you, so what's stopping us?" She raised a brow. "Well, I don't know, maybe the fact I hated you for over 15 years, before all of a sudden changing my mind about you entirely, how do I know I'm making the right choice?" You raised your voice a bit, your fingers rubbing your forehead in unease. "I already apologized!" She exclaimed, frustrated. "Apologizing doesn't magically take back what happened!" You pursed your lips. "Well no shit! If I could take back what happened I would've already, Y/n, what else do you want me to do?" She raised her arms, "what, is the mutual hatred, well over two years old stopping you, really?" She asked sincerely. "Yes, Ellie, it is!" You darted your eyes. "How?!"
"Well for starters you called me a whore, you actively made a fool of me right infront of my face—" she cut you off, "we were kids!" She defended. "But you thought that all true at some point!" Your eyes warming, tears forming at the corners. "That time I walked in on you going at it" "Oh please! You did it too" she face palmed. "Well it's not like we had anything between us then" you said angrily. "So why are you so pissed?!" She asked. "I don't know Ellie, Fuck!" You sighed. "I'm figuring things out, okay?" You sniffed, wiping your nose of the snot. "I just wanna know why you're so mad over shit that's quite literally older than us" she rolled her eyes. "Ellie, the only reason we know what we do about eachother is because we were at some point gonna use it against eachother, does that not make a point? Our whole relationship is formed off of our hurtful actions towards eachother, how do I know that won't happen again if we get married?" You sobbed. "Why would that ever fucking happen?" She bit at her fingertips, threatening for the skin to bleed. "Because of this! Now! Ellie, this isn't smart." You played with your locket. "What, the fact we love eachother?" She scoffed. "That's bullshit" she looked to the castle in the far distance. "What the fuck?" You looked up at her. "Yeah, that's right." She spat. "We've had sex more than I can count, we've gone on over 15 dates and you've said you love me every day I can count we've spent together, and you can't say yes to a simple question, because you're scared that I haven't changed?" She asked. "It's not that simple." You heaved a breath you had trouble holding in for the longest time. "Then do you want to marry me or not?!" She forced, "No!" You cried. Her breath hitched, eyes glistening, tears threatening to fall from her cheeks onto the dirty ground that your dress'd been stained by. "Alright then," her voice shakey and pained, your heart shattering at her cold tone. "I can't do this, Y/n" she sighed. "If you ever change your mind, you know where to find me." She walked away, every leaf and branch in the forest crinkling like the pieces of your heart against the aggressive footsteps of her heeled boots. "Fuck" you sobbed. You must've blacked out on the long way back to your castle, your hair rough and your dress dirty, every jewel not as shiny as when you entered the forest before exiting,
You layed motionless in the fancy bath tub, pitying your existence, the mistake and words you'd said crossing your mind repeatedly. "Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid" you gritted between your teeth, "I'm so stupid" you squeezed the water out your hair. "Princess, are you alright?" A maid asked, opening the restroom door. "Yes I am fine." You lied. Watching her close the door after shaking her head in unease. You layed there a bit longer, your mind going over the events over and over. You thought you might die, thinking how things might've never gone back to the way they were, it made your eyes well up with wet and hurtful tears. You hadn't even gotten to tell your father before it all collapsed in on your parade, perhaps a small price you had to pay for your impulsivity. You sighed, emptying the bathtub. Maybe it'd been the fear, or maybe in the back of your mind the thought you still might hate her creeping in, regardless, it was terrifying how you ruined everything within the span of 10 minutes, because of a dumb fear that you understood her point of view from. Considering the fact you'd known eachother all your lives, your love for her so strong, and your lives werent getting any longer, so you didn't understand. Every inch of your body tense. Missing her magical fingers rubbing every inch of your body. You wanted to go after her, tell her you were sorry and wanted, no, needed her back, you dried your hair, your locket tarnishing over time at the bottom of the heart, your nightgown long, things felt boring, if you could take things back you would've taken them now, kiss her and tell her you wanted to keep going, you didn't get how she couldn't understand your fear. She didn't get the love you shared for her. It made you crumble.
It wasn't like you were never going to marry her, the thought crossed your mind, walking to your desk at the corner of your room just to sit and stare at nothing but the swans from outside the window at the other end of the room. Your father walked in, knocking the door lightly. "Hey, Love" He smiled. "Oh, hey Papa" you forced a grin. "What's wrong, my dear?" His smile disappearing just as fast as it appeared. "It's.. hard to explain" your heart only hurting more. "Nothings too hard for me to understand. Come" he patted the spot beside him on your bed, insisting on comforting you out of your depressive episode.
You jumped out of the chair, walking lazily to sit beside him, resting your head on his shoulder. "Me and Ellie've been seeing eachother." You sighed, feeling the breath catch in his lungs. "How come?" He asked. "There was just... Something there, y'know?" You frowned, tears prickling at your waterline. "It was something about our history, how she couldn't marry someone else knowing I knew everything about her, and frankly, I agree." You shivered, your father wrapping his arm around you. "Well, what's so bad about that? The wedding may be in order again—" he quickly said, excitement in his tone. "No— that's just it! I'm not ready to marry her, Papa." You cried. "Why so?" He calmed. "It's only been 7 months, compared to 17 years of hate, it's hard to believe it won't happen again, especially since she got so mad at the fact I wasn't ready.. it's like anything I do that'll displease her will make it all happen again, this." You explained. "I once told you that's apart of relationships" you father said sternly. "If you truly love eachother, you'll understand one another, the pain will be worth it in the end, give it some time, darling." He smiled, hugging you tightly, "thanks papa." You sniffed into his shoulder. Laughing at his overused jokes.
You'd woken up the next morning, figuring out ways in which you could heal your relationship, make things better and help her understand you'd want to marry her, just not, now. You wrote letter after letter, your hair still a mess from your deep slumber that night. Each and every letter just not right as you threw them out repeatedly. You groaned, throwing your head back on your leathery white chair. "God" you resented yourself for what'd happened, you couldn't help but think Ellie felt that way about you now. She hated you before, it could've easily happened again. You'd decided a well needed visit to Elisa would make you feel... Better. You did your hair into a bun, slipping one of your signature blue dresses. Packing your clutch. You'd hoped she'd be home, knowing her family was in a big trading industry, she was traveling the sea almost every month, you headed north of the castle, going through another half of the forest you had barely been before in your coazy carriage, the men upfront guiding the horses talking unnecessarily loudly, it made you laugh.
A little over an hour later had gone, arriving in her village, the wealthiest of people roaming the street like a circus, you felt average upon them, like you weren't a princess at all, with their fancy gowns and parasols. You halted at her estate, the mansion bigger than the rest, gold accents around every window. You didn't get what hee family did for a living, to get to where she was, Infact, you didn't think it was capable if not royal. You waved the guards a thank you and small goodbye, knocking on Elisa's door, that was so much taller than you, you thought her whole mansion was over 100 mini you's. The short curly haired girl opened the door. "Elisa!" You exclaimed, engulfing her in a hug. "Shit, Y/n, Hi" she smiled, "is this a bad time?" You asked concerned, noticing the tired look on her face. "Not necessarily" she laughed, a man suddenly appearing beside her from you didn't know where. "Oh? Who's this?" You raised a brow. "This is Boris" she explained. "Ohh" you remembered how she'd told you about him. "Love, I'm gonna go for a walk with Y/n, that alright with you?" She looked up at him lovingly, the look returned so softly and mutually, it made you want to cry. "Of course" he left a wet kiss on her forehead, closing the door behind her, her whole mood changing. "Ugh, he's the sweetest!" She giggled. "We're almost 8 months strong" she squeezed your hand. "That's wonderful" your gaze softening, jealousy still creeping in. "You think hes the one?" Your fingers intertwining as you circled the perimeter of her mansion. "Definitely, he's so understanding of my boundaries, it's a dream" her eyes sparkled, "must be nice" you mumbled. "What ever do you mean?" She became serious like a light switch. "Me and Ellie broke up" you sighed. "What!?" She gasped, her hands clasping over her lips agap. "Why?!" She asked. "She didn't understand why I didn't want to marry her." You frowned, looking down at the lace on your dress. "Oh, honey.." she hugged you, patting your head. "Have you spoken to her since?" She asked. "No" you shook your head. "Has it not crossed your mind too?" She furrowed her brows. "It has.. I just fear the way she's perceived me has changed." She sighed. "Princess.. It has not changed. She just needs to cool down, besides, wouldn't she have gotten mad if she only cared so much?" She pointed out, "your right" you lightly smiled, hugging her back tightly before letting go. "I promise things'll be alright" she reassured you.
You finished your rest of the afternoon drinking tea at Elisa's listening to slightly painful to hear stories about her and Boris. You returned home not too long after. Waving her a goodbye and your best of wishes to her and Boris.

It'd been months since you'd tried speaking with Ellie, staying locked up in your castle reading rather than doing your favorite things that you always did. You missed everything about her, the bad things, and the good things. "Dear?" Your father called, walking into the one of many rooms you stayed in during one of those days. "Yes?" You hummed. "You think you could go out and get some bread?" He asked. "Can't one of the servants go out and get some?" You said annoyed, "I don't feel like going out" your hair was in a braid, your wool socks warming your feet. "I gave them a day to rest today" he rubbed the nape of his neck, embarrassed. "Oh" you sighed. "Fine" getting up and setting your book down on the fluffy chair. "Is that all?" You asked. "Yes, thanks, dear." He smiled, leaving the room. You quickly slipped on your warm and furry shawl over your shoulders, the weather cold and fresh as you exited the castle, feeling annoyed with your father for his great plan to give everyone a day off. You walked into town, the market busy, people greeting you from across the street and small families asking you when you were finally taking over and getting married. You had to admit it made you uncomfortable, but you answered reasonably, walking away shyly.
You followed a line of people, leading to the bakery, you stood silently, small smile on your face, your breaths steady before hearing the voice of the woman infront of you, her voice calm and raspy, the sound that made you feel weak for months at a time prior. "Thanks" she payed, turning around quickly before bumping into you, causing you to fall back a bit, a gasp slipping past your lips. "Shit, sorry—" she caught you, her finger tips like clouds. "No it's alright—" you held your shawl tightly. "Princess?!" Ellie gasped. Your eyes circling everywhere around the room but her. "What're you doing here?" You asked, her face heating up slightly. "Uh— Dina wanted me to come out and by her some homemade bread." She said. Scratching her ear stressfully. "How's she doing?" You asked, paying for your bread, mouthing a small thank you before walking out of the bakery nervously, unable to look at her still. "She's alright... Uh, Elisa?" She gazed at the ground. "She's good, her and, uh, Boris... They're getting along nicely." You smiled, happy for her. "Glad to hear." She grew more shy, "And Joel?" Your strolled through the market place once more, the booths filled to the rim with people. "He's been seeing someone actually" she chuckled. "That's nice.." you trailed off. "Uh, you wanna come over? Catch up?" You asked the auburn haired girl, her cheeks dusted with freckles. "No, yeah sure, Dina can wait" she laughed. "Yeah... Yeah." You smiled, she followed you home, greeting your father at the staircase, he so happily asking her how she was doing before letting you both go, you walked her to your room, leaving your shawl on your vanity along with the bread. You gestured for her to sit beside you on the bed, her smelling strongly of perfume now that you were out of the cold. You sat, the silence filling the air, only ever catching a glimpse of eachothers gaze at one another every 10 seconds. "So.." Ellie squeezed the sheets. "Ellie—" you began. "I'm sorry... About what happened last Spring." You apologized, piecing your words together like a puzzle. "I just, I wasn't ready, and I was scared, about making the wrong move, I mean, I just don't know what I would've done if we went back to stage 1, and everything went haywire, and being away from you, I realized how much I missed you" you ranted. "I went so long thinking you might've hated me for it, I couldn't just not ever see you again, knowing you didn't have a proper reason nor apolgy, especially, that you don't know about my true feelings" her lips met yours, your words seizing to spill out. "Ellie?" You gasped. "I'm sorry, you just, you weren't shutting up." She laughed, cupping your cheeks softly. "Arent you mad?" You furrowed your eye brows. "I was," she started. "But.. I understand why you were scared." She sighed. "I'm sorry I overreacted" she apologized. "No, me" you insisted. "No, listen, if you aren't ready for... You know, I'm willing to wait it out" her tone was sincere. "Really? You're willing to start over?" You asked. "Yes" she kissed you again, pushing you over to trail more kisses down your neck. "I love you" she whispered. "I love you more" you sighed deeply, her hands gently holding your hips.

"Ugh, I'm so nervous!" You cried. "You look beautiful." Your father smiled, rubbing your shoulders, in the mirror you stood, your coral pink gown melting down from your hips, your veil like a water fall, covering you like an angel, every jewel brighter than the last, your corset polished with lace. "I can't believe it's happening" Elisa sniffed, blowing her nose into a cheap napkin, Boris standing beside her rubbing her shoulder. "I can't believe 19 years ago today, you'd decided you hated Princess Ellie, and now here we are" Your dads tears forming, at the corner of his eyes. "And to think you rejected her like 4 times" Elisa joked. "Shut up!" You laughed, applying lipstick.
She'd proposed to you a little less than a year ago, at Elisa's wedding, you'd rejected her the last three times, every time she understood, keeping the ring for when it finally came time that you said yes. Not to mention your coronation day would've been around the corner soon. "You think she'll like it?" You asked your family. "Of course" Elisa smiled. Melting into Boris's touch, rubbing her stomach, she was 7 months pregnant, her dreams all coming true, you were happy how successful she was becoming. "The bridal music is startin'!" Joel whisper shouted through the crack in the door. "Right, Okay, be out as soon as possible!" Elisa kissed your cheek, leaving you alone, along with Boris, and your father. You dad waited outside the door, you stood a little longer in the mirror, your life flashing before your eyes, reminiscing the things you went through to end up here. You sighed, straightening your tiara a last time, adjusting your veil before exiting the room, holding onto your father arm tightly, the other hand lifting your wedding gown not to dirty it of the floor. "Are you ready, dear?" He asked, lovingly, a hint of pain behind his eyes, giving you away like a prize. "Yes, Papa" your eyes welled up. Stopping at the entrance, seeing the invited standing up already. You heaved a breath, watching as everyone curtseyed, smiles, and waves, and loved ones. You couldn't imagine this day ever meeting you. Ellie was who really made you excited. The longing look in her eyes, her toothy smile and fidgeting hands as she bit her lip nervously, the blush spreading from her nose to ears like ash being blown, you couldn't help but have the same reaction, the music tuned out of your mind, your father giving you one last kiss, letting you go to sit down. Ellies eyes never left yours. "Hey" you giggled. "Hey" she laughed along with you, Dina standing there to marry you both.
"Alright, well" Dina smiled proudly. "We're gathered here today, for a new chapter in which Princess Ellie, and Princess Y/n's relationship will continue to grow." She started. "I will have Ellie start with her vows." She smirked, holding back light giggles of nervousness. "When me and Y/n met, I was set on disliking her" Ellie laughed to herself, feeling embarassed at her honesty about her feelings. "I was cruel, and insisted on making things difficult for her, and 4 years ago, when I hadn't seen her for.. a long time, a part of me fell apart. Dina always knew it's probably happen that I'd need her in my life whether it meant marrying her, or just having her there, for my sake, and frankly she was right." She smiled. "My life fell out of balance, and not having her there made me feel like the world was ending, I learned for her presence, and when it came down to it, I realized I really did want to spend the rest of my life with her, regardless of everything we've gone through, it was all worth it, because we're at a point where 19 years ago, my younger self would've hated to see, and, surely hers." She folded a tiny paper back up, tears rolling down your cheeks like beads, holding back an agressive sob. "Oh, Ellie" you cupped your mouth, muffling a whine. You'd cried through your vows, watching Ellie's eyes tear up too.
"Do you, Ellie Williams, take Y/n to be your lawfully wedded wife?" Dina asked. "I do" she said. "And do you—"
"Yes!" You cried, wiping your tears in anticipation. "You may kiss, the bride's" Dina giggled, quickly wrapping your arms around Ellies neck, kissing her passionately, staining her peachy lips in your red ones. Never wanting to let go. You felt the weight fall off your shoulders as she embraced you back, humming into the kiss, all the years of pain falling behind you, all just a dream, her finger tips like blissful cotton candy around you. "I love you" you whispered. "I love you too."

Your first summer out of the castle when you'd turned 5. Your father held onto your hand reassuringly, pointing out at all the wonderful things you had yet to experience. His words you so vividly remembered along the lines of, "one day, this will all be yours to take care of" so sadly, the frown on his face one of the worst parts from those core memories. The rays of light hit your pearl pink dress, the sparkles shifting as you rode on the horse through what now had been the forest. "Papa, where are we going?" Your head turned back up to look at him, a cheerful smile upon your lips, your teeth crooked and white. "We, my dear daughter, are going to meet the one you shall marry one day." His eyes focused on the muddy path way, as you held onto your perfect dress so tightly in fear of it getting ruined by nature's mishaps. The memory had stopped, where what begun was the hatred between you and Ellie Williams.
For you remembered the look on her face when she'd met you. Your father pushed you towards the tall man with the girl behind him, urging you to say hello. The man'd done the same, an overjoyed toothy grin flashing on his face. "Who might this lovely young lady be?" Your dad inquired, just as happy as the man infront of you, "young princess Ellie, no doubt " He urged you again. You furrowed your brows at him angrily, taking the slightest step forward to the taller little girl who stood infront of you. "I'm Y/n" You gritted through your teeth, biting your bottom lip upsettingly, curtseying at everyone disposal. "It's a pleasure to meet you." You finished, a fake smile plastered on your face, pleading eyes for your father to take you back home. Ellie eyed you disgustingly, uninterested rolling her eyes back, the taller man pushing her forward closer. "Go on" he said angrily. "Joel!" She yelped. "Ellie." He eyed her. She scoffed, her attitude already unbearable. "It's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance.. Princess Y/n.... Ellie" she said poorly, introducing herself, her pinky finger digging in her ear, eyeing at it like it was all she had left to do. She turned back before the man flipped her around, roughly shoving her closer, his patience limited now. She sighed, going back to grab your hand, gently, something you hadn't expected from her insignificantly terrible mannerisms, her finger tips soft, she kissed the back of your hand, your heart had fluttered, from what you remembered, only for a slight second before she pulled away, sticking her tongue out and wiping her mouth, "Ugh, gross!" She cried. You rolled your eyes, the moment of whatever romance that'd be destined to start, passing like the speed of light.
The two of you stood there, your father's smiling at the "perfect match." all you could think about was how unpleasant she was, how she wouldn't understand you, how you absolutely despised her existence. The summer growing to be what you thought was the worst of your life span, the constant bickering and her heavy insults. You ran through the halls of her castle. Joel and your father having not understood nor notice the two of you constantly at eachothers throats. Your dress getting caught in the doors, and tripping over your slippers when she'd attacked you. "You're such a goody-two shoes!" She argued, your cheeks burning red from the running. "Shut it, Ellie" you spit at her. Your dress torn at the hem and your pink slippers stained with shoe marks on them from tripping over your feet. The rest of the summer lasted the exact same, every little thing she said annoying you, and every action you took, she wanted to intervene.
Soon enough more winters and summers went by before you were 12, hiding at the top of the tower, in your room dreading this summer. "Y/n! We can't keep Princess Ellie waiting any longer!" Your father called from the carriage at the bottom of the castle. "Ugh, please, she's barley even a princess!" You shouted angrily, eyeing him from the window, your hair tied into a braid and your nightgown hadn't changed. "I haven't even washed my hair nor changed"you gestured to your hair and clothes. "Gives you all the more reason to hurry" you heard the grin in his voice, causing you to smile the slightest. You redid your braid, finishing it off with a blue ribbon at the end, and quickly slipping on one of you're too many owned dresses. You pranced through the long historic hallways, waving small goodbyes to the servants who'd helped around the castle, leaving out the door to the garden. "Are you ready to leave?" Your father asked. "Yes" you sighed sadly, having to see Ellie again making you feel as if the world were ending. "I don't get why you dislike her so much, she's really such a lovely young lady." He frowned, entering the carriage with you. "Sure, if lovelys the word you wanna use." You groaned, "half the time the only thing she's doing is jumping at me every chance she gets to make my life horrible." Your dad smiled at you, saying you were over doing it. The ride to the neighboring kingdom was joyful, the sound of your laughter echoing through the windows. Once you'd arrived, you'd seen Ellie once more, no better than the previous summers, still as horrid as you remembered. "Hello, princess" she rolled her eyes, whispering into the ear of another girl beside her, it so clearly about you. "Princess Ellie." You gritted. "And who's this?" Your father smiled, Ellie's attitude being replaced with the innocent act she'd always put up to make you seem as if the bad guy. "This, is the friend I made last winter" she grinned. "Dina" she introduced her. You nervously waved at her, not earning much in return but a dirty look from Ellie, you clutched your dress, suddenly feeling very self conscious. "Well, what're we waitin' for? Les go!" Joel said with his thick accent, following him back to the all too familiar grand castle, lifting your dress as you walked over the muddy ground. You followed Ellie around the rest of the day, the two girls continuesly looking back at you as you acted like a dog, scolded if you sat out in the permanent room you had here during the summer. The sun reflected your shadows ever so often, "does she have to follow us around?" Dina turned around suddenly, weirdly annoyed with your presence, her red dress swaying with her hips as she turned. Ellie looked back, her ill-fitted dress steady as her shoes stepped on the hems. Tearing it like colored paper. "I wish she didn't, it's a shame I have to marry her" she said angrily, grabbing Dina's hand, pulling her along to show her the tree house that was supposedly in the field behind the castle, whispering about it as if you couldn't hear them.
You followed them to the tree house, far behind, you almost didn't wanna go into the tree house, till you saw it, it hadn't been there last summer. You ran softly on the grass, attempting to catch up to the girls, finally getting to the ladder, it began to float up, realizing the girl with a dark haired messy ponytail was pulling it up. She darted her eyes at you. "Snowflakes aren't allowed up in this treehouse" she said distinctively. "Oh, fuck you!" You yelled. Giving them the finger you walked off annoyed. "What's her problem?" Dina raised her brow at Ellie, "Dunno, she's like short tempered or whatever" Ellie chuckled, watching you storm off.

When you turned 17, you had your first royal ball, "Ellie!" You called, walking to her room at the very end of the hallway on the very last floor of the castle, you turned the door knob, opening the door aggressively to see her in her loose dress as it'd always been, practicing her archery on an ill drawing of you from when you were 10. "Oh, real mature" you said angrily. "Yeah whatever." She stuck her tongue out at you, you walked towards the target of you, your blue and fancy ruffley dress following closely behind you as your heels clicked hollowly against the old floors of the castle. Your hair effortlessly soft. You ripped it off the wall. "Hey!! What the hell's your problem?!" She spat. "You're a fucking child is my problem." You rolled your eyes tearing it. "What do you even want?" She got up angrily. "The ball" you muttered. "That's tonight?" She gasped. "Yes, everyone knew that" you fixed the straps of her dress unconciously, her breath hitched, suddenly flinching your hand away "get out, I'll fix it myself, I wasn't even gonna wear this" she muttered. "Jeez fine, the one time I try being nice and all you ever do is be a total douche." You outed the room, flattening the lacey blue ruffles of your dress, adjusting your gold heart shaped locket and your finished hair. You walked down the hall once more, waiting for your fiance to open her eyes and act like the princess she really was whether she liked it or not. You found yourself at the entrance of the castle, a strongly built woman guarding the gate. "Strong arms, huh?" You smirked up at her, her face flushing, "Princess." She averted her eyes, meanwhile Ellie watching from afar with Dina. "God she's always flirting with those damned guards" she huffed, the giggling of you and the guard filling the room. "Why care so much? What, you like her?" Dina said, brushing the lose strands of hair from her face. "God no" she said annoyed, fixing her new suit. "Sure seems like it" Dina scoffed. "She can flirt with who she wants" Dina defended you. "Whatever" you turned to see the girls eyeing you warily for you had no clue as to why. You brushed your hand off the guards arm, kissing her cheek. "Guys let's go, we'll be late." You waved your arm at them, calling them over as they obeyed. "Alright Papa! We can go" you shouted to the topless carriage outside. "Perfect, darling!" He smiled, patiently waiting, you carefully lifted your dress running to the cart. Leaving Ellie behind. "You like her" Dina teased. "Oh fuck off, I've hated that ‘ Little Ms. Perfect ’ since I was 5, thats not about to change now just because she went from some annoying ugly duckling to a fucking goddess...or.. whatever." Dina chuckled, "like a swan?" She pressed. "Yeah whatever you wanna call it." She walked to the cart quickly behind you now to catch up, smiling at your father. "Took you long enough" you said. "Shut up" she said, crossing her arms over her chest. "We're already to leave!" Your dad called to the people in front, controlling the horses.
You drove up to your palace, the towns people, hundreds, of them cheerfully smiling, waving, throwing flowers from their own gardens, you couldn't help but flash a toothy smile, waving back and holding the hands of the little children being held upon shoulders of their parents, a few sending weird stares at you as Ellie stuck up her two fingers behind your head, mocking you, making some of the kids laugh. "Hey!" You turned, arms over your chest, "will you quit it?! God your frustrating" you sighed, melting back into the leather seats of the carriage.
Soon you'd pulled up at the gates of your castle, the horses in the stable causing a racket, and the ball gowns visible from the windows you'd seen from outside. The dim lights romantic, Ellie exited the carriage after your father, Joel waiting for Ellie to turn and help you down, she ran her hands through her hair annoyedly, grabbing your hand gently helping you down. Your heart fluttering the same the day you'd met when she kissed your hand, despite the hatred you had towards her, your locket glistened under the moon light, and the pins in your hair reflecting the moon itself. "Thank you, but I could've done it myself" you pushed her hand away. Walking alone to the entrance, walking in as the guards at the door opened it for you, you winked at them, the beads of sweat rolling down their heads. "Such a beautiful young women she's becoming" Joel smiled, Ellie turning her head from your direction, the poof of your dress following the move of your hips. "Indeed she is" your dad agreed.
As you entered the ball room, royal families you'd thought close to you came to greet you, compliments being thrown from every direction, the colours of the gowns bright and warming. "So... you and Ellie, huh?" A girl in green said. "Not as charming as everyone thinks" you rolled your eyes. "She's absolutely horrid." Your hands rested in your hips, suddenly warm breath tickling your neck. "Horrid my ass," she came from behind you, aggressively whispering in your ear her complaints. "Attitude problems I tell ya' " she pushed you aside gently. "You would think someone as pretty as her has a pretty personality too, but wasn't raised right... clearly " she sheepishly smiled at you. Your hands fisting the fabric of your dress in the palm of your hand as the girls gawked at her disrespect towards you, throwing shame at your name. "Fuck you" you mouthed to her, walking away annoyed.
You found yourself flirting with the princesses of every country, each one of them better than the last much like the last glass of wine you drank unsupervised. The shawl on your shoulders slipping off, the freckles and goosebumps appearing so clearly. "Look.. I'd give anything to sleep with you, but aren't you betrothed to her excellency, Ellie?" The girl respectfully asked concerned. "Who cares, everyone knows it won't work out." You grabbed her slim waist, suddenly your father tapping your shoulder. "The slow dance, dear." He grabbed your available hand, you measly let go of the girls pink dress, a look of dismay on her face. You internally yelling inside your head at the thought of marrying this woman. Your dad helped you your way to Ellie, her tall muscular build in the center of the room, standing there dreading your hands on her body. "Now don't make a scene, be professional" your dad warned, placing your hand upon Ellies shoulder, taking the empty wine glass from you, "fine... god" you looked up at Ellie, her gaze away from yours as her hands slid down to your waist, holding you firmly. Your hands only placed hesitantly on her padded shoulders.
"Sorry" she apologized, moving her hands gesturing she didn't mean to be weird. "Ellie Williams, THE Ellie Williams apologizing" you teased, her look still distant "would you look at me? No one'll believe your poor excuse of whatever the hell this is" you complained, your hand cupping her cheek, pulling her face to look at you as the band played a soft spoken song. "This is shit" she whispered. "Yeah, well they're all watching, so shut up and pretend you love me for the next annoyingly long 3 minutes of our dumb lives" you said, moving your feet slowly with hers in sync. She looked into your eyes, you realizing just how vivid her green eyes were, suddenly just noticing all the small details of her face, like the mole under her eye, or the scar on her eyebrow, even how uneven her side part was, you almost laughed in her face.
You upside down smiled, cheekily looking away, "what now" she asked, her brows furrowing. "Nothing, nothing" you waved your hand dismissively. "Yeah whatever" softly laughing along with you, not helping herself. For a short period her hands on your hips sent butterflies surging through your stomach, her breath upon your forehead giving you goose bumps as you twirled and spun around the room, your dress swinging satisfyingly as you forgot the crowd of people around you. "You know, your presence currently is... slightly more tolerable than usual." You whispered, "That so true, now?" She widened her eyes, spinning you into a dip on the slow and steady beat of the song. "Surprisingly." You giggled, admiring the equivalent of stars splattered across her scab cut face from training, your heart increasing every so slightly. You almost felt yourself falling for her like a fool. "If you weren't such a massive whore and flirt to every girl you met I might've actually been in love with you by n—"
"Excuse me?" You interrupted her. Angrily, stepping on her foot. "Ow— what the fuck?" She yelped. "'No what the fuck'd you just call me?" You let go of her immediately. The gaze of people returning to just you. "Well I'm not wrong." She admitted honestly. "Oh yeah— as if you don't do the same, Ellie!" You cried, pushing her away, almost tripping over your dress. "Why do you always do this?! What's your fucking issue? Can you not act like a decent human being for once?" You rolled your eyes, crossing your hands over your chest as she stared at you almost fearfully. "The only reason you're fucking dance with me is because if you didn't we'd both get shit for it! To think I almost fell for that shitty act of yours." Your eyes started to swell up with tears glistening in the light threatening to spill. "No fucking shit! Why'd I like you if you're always being like this?"
You scoffed, "Fuck you, Ellie." You pulled your laced shawl back up your shoulders, holding it firmly as you ran to your room.
That night you watched Ellie shamefully leave in her fathers carriage, Dina beside her worriedly holding her hand in attempt to relax her, a frown on your face as you'd waved goodbye, you entered inside, your father calmly rubbing your back. "I want to break off the engagement." You said sternly. "But—"
"No!" You bursted, the tears rolling down your cheek onto your already tear stained ball gown. "I don't care about out legacy— we'll get someone else to take over, I refuse to wed her. Do you not understand the severity of what she said to me, father?!" You cupped your mouth, muffling the sobs, your breaths quick and weak.
"At least just give it another year, my love, please consider" your father frowned, the wrinkles on his face increasing by the years. "Love has it's ups and downs, this is bound to happen through your marriage" he tried to reason. "Not when you refuse to do what it takes to fix it." You wiped your nose. Your cheeks red and your eyes puffy. "I'll give it another summer" you reckoned, "but one more slip up of hers and I'm done for." You darted your eyes, your tone serious.
"Very well, my dear" he hugged you, whispering a low "I love you"
"I love you too" you hugged him back, holding back the frustration tears.
Tumblr media
You wanted to lose your mind atleast a hundred and fifty times before meeting Ellie again. The dreaded summer you'd not been waiting for, not by a long shot. Your father repeatedly thanked you, the carriage dropping you at the front gate of the castle with your dad. Joel standing smiling at you, Ellie up in the castle possibly spying on your every move, and if she was, you wouldn't have been surprised. "I'm really, really sorry for the way things endin' " he apologized, hugging you closely. "Don't worry Joel, it was a misunderstanding.. You know.. like Papa says.." you chuckled, the stupidity of last year's events getting to your head. You stepped foot inside the castle, barley missing anything about it but the guards. "Ellies up inner' room if you wanna go.. y'know" he pointed to the grand staircase. Your father gave you the look, where you didn't have to go, but if you didn't, the disappointment would be unbearable.
You went up the steps to the last floor, out of breath your 2 inch heels making you wobble, you found yourself hesitating at the door, unable to turn the knob before you heard the sound of suckling, heavy breaths, and deep sighs, you almost felt you were about to throw up. The anger boiling inside you, you could've just left, slept it out, or argued with her, tiring her out instead. You aggressively pushed open the door, nearly breaking your nails, the sight of a woman on top of Ellie, her nightgown barley even worn on her body anymore and the soft fingers of Ellie's you'd felt one too many times on your body for your comfort on the girls hips. "This just keeps getting worse and worse, doesn't it?!" You exclaimed angrily. "Fuck." Ellie sighed, her eyes wide as the woman got off top of her, adjusting her lingerie before rushing out clumsily. "What the fuck do you want?" She got up, sitting straight, all left of her, her loose strapped bra. "What do I want?" You mimicked her, suddenly stomping towards a pair of clothes, throwing at her almost bare chest, you grabbed her as she finished clothing, gripping her forearm tightly, you dragged her downstairs, the sound of your loose dress waving in the air and your breaths heavy, you stopped at 2 of the 3 dining rooms until you found your father. "I'm out!" You complained. "I refuse to marry her, I'm done." Your tiara crooked off the top of your head, Ellie gave you a dirty look. Pushing you off of her. "But —" you continued. "I'm not going to marry someone who doesn't love me" you hallored. Throwing her an angry and disapproved look. "I want to leave, and I never want to see her face again unless it's news of whoever she's betrothed to next cause they're in for a rude awakening." You insulted. Not a word escaping her lips, but a few gasps from Joel. His heart along with your father's crumbling to the ground like a shattered plate. "I'm sorry Papa, but I can't." You sighed. "I'd like a carriage to bring us home as early as possible, we have important decisions to make, I'd rather be in the comfort of our castle rather than a scums." You walked to your room. Packing the things you'd left during the winters for the summer, all of it coming to an end. It almost made you upset, you were overjoyed, yet angry, at how you almost fell for her, if she hadn't said what she did that day at the ball, you would've sworn you'd forgotten the rotten history of your past.
The next morning you left, concluding the last time you had seen Princess, Ellie Williams, your ex fiance.
Tumblr media
You hadn't seen Ellie in two years, and if you were being honest, your life had become healthier. It was like it'd always been but without the stress of Ellie constantly making your life a living hell, you'd been in a few relationships, none of them lasting and neither one of them being ‘the one’, you picked up on your hobbies, helped your father around the town, rebuilding the castle and re-doing your room, and at the very best making friends of your own.
"Princess" the guards entered the dining room as you read a book, munching on freshly picked strawberries from the garden out back. "Yes?" You smiled, turning your head to look at her. "One of your friends are here, requesting to see you" the guard said. "Oh thank you, tell her I'll be there in a second" you stood up, patting your pink dress of the strawberry seeds, closing your book. "Very well, your excellency" the gaurd rushed away, leaving you adjusting you hair before walking through the halls rapidly to see your bestfriend.
"y/n!" She shouted, waving at you, her pale dress falling beneath her ankles and her cardigan slipping off her shoulders. "Elisa!" Your lips growing into a grin, "I didn't know you were coming!" You ran towards her, engulfing her in a well needed hug, "you didn't get my letter?" She giggled. "Goodness, no." Your arms fell from her waist, playing with her hair. "What a surprise!" You squealed. "No! The surprise is what I have to tell you!" She grabbed your wrists, her smile wide. "I just had to tell you in person!" She said. "Must be important, huh?" You said, pulling her inside the castle, your dresses meshing against eachother. "What is it?" You asked, taking her out to the garden. "Well.." she began, you took your seats at the small table centered with a bouquet of lilies. "The neighboring kingdom.." she began, your heart skipping the beat at the sound of it. "Y'know.. King Joel, princess Ellie.." you scoffed. "Some princess" you rolled your eyes. "No, but, listen!" Elisa waved her hands, "they're hosting a ball, every royal, andd towns people invited she exclaimed excitingly, her, herself just a wealthy towns person. "Oh, goodness," you paused, "in what honor?" You asked curiously, "Princess Ellie hasn't found someone to marry yet, Kind Joel's saying there hasn't been one perfect match since.." she trailed off. "Not surprised." You tucked your hair behind your ear. "What's it to do with me, though?"
"wanna come as my plus one? Just for fun! Of course" she asked overjoyed. "Elisa.. I don't know.. you know how things ended—" you said, resting your head on your hand. "Please! We'll stay away from her at all costs." She begged you. You pondered over the decision, looking for reasons you should and shouldn't be going before deciding it might've been fun. "Fine!" You said warmly, "but if anything goes wrong.."
"I know!" She smiled. "Alright," you agreed "it's tomorrow night, you might want to get ready" she said, getting up quickly. "Now I've got to go get prepped. I'll see you tomorrow?" She pushed in her chair. "Sure will, need me to see you out?" You asked. "Nope, all good, I've been here so many times I know the hallway like the back of my hand...... Sort of" she waved you off as a guard took her away. You stared into the distance, watching the geese and doves fly profusely over the sunset, suddenly feeling like going for a late night walk in the woods outside the town.
You found your way around the castle to your father, asking him for a dress fitting early tomorrow. Afterwards going onto put a long warm coat, white fluff fulfilments along the rim of the sleeves and hoodie, a moon stone as the button that clipped at the top. The coat itself a heavenly blue. You'd left the castle, quietly walking through the town, street lights flickering and the youngest little children running around in packs as their parents watched over them, curstying after you.
You watched the constellations ever so brightly in the sky, everyone of them dusted across the midnight blue, the sparkles of them vividly reminding you of Ellie's freckles, you subconsciously counted them the summers you met her. It made you sick. Moreso the thought of having to see her again rather than counting the freckles new every year. In some ways, you felt crushed by how you so easily could've moved on from the one you were ‘destined’ to marry, break it off, and still not have found love. It was like a curse, thinking of how in every universe, you hated her guts.
You're gaze softened at the lake you'd come to just through the forest , 2 swans tangled in eachothers embrace, their feathers white as snow, a heart lazily untangling as they swam side by side, neither one of them moving further apart than 3 inches from eachother. You sighed. Looking at the locket you'd owned since 15, it heart shaped, a swan engraved on it. "Oh how I love swans" you whispered. You made your way up to the castle a little more than an hour later, the moon fully above, it reflecting off of windows you stepped by.
Once you woke up in the morning, you'd gotten your dress fitting done, choosing a baby blue ball gown, the sleeves falling elegantly off the shoulders, lace and jewels falling across the corset of the dress, pearl necklaces to go with the locket you held so dearly, and glittery high heels. You'd gotten your hair done not far long after, your white and silky house coat sliding against your hair softly, the maid had put your hair in a half up-half down look, strands of hair still lazy left out, framing the shape of your face precisely the way you had liked it, she finished it off with a jeweled tiara matching your gown.
The day'd passed the sunset almost upon you, as you looked into the vanity in your room, your heart beating fast as you slipped on your gown, you maid behind you tightening your corset, tieing elegant bows, you adjusted your sleeves, "Miss, are you alright?" The maid asked, concern in her voice as she massaged your shoulders, watching as your gaze became saddened and saddened the more time went on. "Oh, no I'm fine.. Please, tell the guards to tell Elisa that I'll be down as soon as possible when she gets here." The maid left the room, you put on cherry red lipstick, focusing so quickly on making it perfect, you watched your lips move around blending it out to be softer. "I can't believe I'm doing this" you groaned, slipping on your heels gently, walking out to see Elisa in a bright pink dress, a boa slinking off her shoulders the radiant white fluff falling across her chest, diamonds hanging from her neck and ears. Her hair in a clean bun. "You ready to go?" She said, grabbing your arm as you walked up to her. "You look beautiful" you smiled. Dismissing the question. "Thank you" she blushed. "I was hoping I'd meet someone there tonight, it means a lot you think that" "no of course, I get it" you rubbed her arm with your thumb, circling in the same spot. You hoping you'd meet someone as well.
The carriage drove you through the dark night passing the same lake with the partnered swans, from the night before. "You looking to settle down?" you asked, hands resting on your lap. "I think so, I wanna have children so bad, and I need their future parent to treat them just as well as I would" she stared at her hands "all I really want is a family" the cold coming from her mouth. "I'm betting you'll meet someone amazing" you assured her. The trees swayed in the winds, your hair blowing along with the rhythm of it all, strolling through the ghost town that you'd remembered so full when your enemy wasn't foolishly inviting every person to exist to this horrid ball. You found yourselves at the gate. The castle lit and decorated with bright and gorgeous lanterns. You both thanked the guards.
You shivered walking to the big doors that's been open. Guards greeting every new person to have walked in. "They'll be here all night" you whispered to Elisa. "Sure will" she said, sorry for them.
You walked in the ball room, Elisa disappearing from your arm as soon as you did. "Typical" you sighed. Walking measly around the room, your gown brushing against the others. Feeling small in the crowd. You stood at the food table, eating the crab cakes like your last dinner, stuffing in two at a time before catching a glimpse of a tall build, her hair short, the same hairstyle as you, and her suit dark, a blue rose in her pocket. Talking to a few of the females, the freckles and eyebrow scar unmistakable. You're breath hitched, gulping down the remaining crab cakes, you felt faint, she looked so mature, her smile bright, yet her eyes hiding a subtle hint of pain you'd only notice if you'd known someone for years, regardless how much you hated them. Tucking the loose strand of hair behind her ear. Her eyes suddenly widening before you realized she'd seen you. "Shit" you muttered, she waved off the women excusing herself to walk towards you.
She stopped a few inches from you, averting her eyes from yours as she bowed, a gasp escaping your coated red lips. "Princess" her voice cracked. "Yes— uh, Princess... Ellie" you curtseyed. "You look... Beautiful" she breathed. Gently grabbing your hand to kiss it softly. "Thank you— Did you happen to hit your head or something" you pulled your hand away quickly away from her lips. "You're acting... Strange" you let out a breath you had no clue you'd been holding in for so long. "How so?" She raised a brow. "You're not acting like you hate my guts." You said. "Who said I didn't?" She crossed her arms. "What? So that's changed now cause I'm, ‘beautiful’?" You spat. " 'That such a bad reason?" She scrunched her nose subconsciously, wiping it with her hand. "Get your head out of the gutter Ellie." You stomped away, "fuck" she whispered.
You still unable to wrap your head around when she'd become so.. odd? You flew around the ball room, every 30 minutes seeing her eye you from across the room. As if some kind of snack, you began to feel creeped out, her whispers to an oh so grown up Dina always beginning after she saw your face. Soon you found her asking you to dance. "Ellie, if you're only going to like me because of my looks.. I don't want you to like me at all" you sighed, taking a step back. "Especially considering our history, I mean what is this? 15 years of constant torture and insults being thrown at me for it to just suddenly change? I can't do it Ellie, I really just can't" you said, turning around for a split second, before she hooked her slender hand around your forearm, the slow dance beginning as she pulled you into her, her hand firmly on your waist and the other holding your other hand just above your shoulders. You sighed, "Ellie —" annoyed. "What else?" You said, she held you close, deja vu hitting you like a carriage door, while she span you around the room, the crowd almost not there, you gazed deeply into her eyes. "What else?" She raised a brow confused. "Is beauty all that matter to you?" You asked, pained. "What? No—" she choked on her words. "That's not—"
"Then what else?" You grip on her hand tightening significantly. "I don't know— I mean—" she bit her bottom lip. "No Ellie— save it." You stopped her. "You don't get to do that" you darted your eyes at her, the hatred building up with every step you took, you began to feel frustrated. "Do what?!" She raised her voice ever so slightly, no one heard over the band. "You don't get to like me because I'm fucking attractive now to you. That's just not fair." Before you could react, she grabbed your arm painfully, pulling you of the crowd of people, she dragged you down the hall, unable to free from her grip, you tripped over your gown. "Ellie what the hell!!" You cried, playing with her hand to get you off just before you'd got thrown into the tea room you'd remembered not to fondly, she locked the doors. "Ellie open that goddam door—"
"Would you just listen to me?!" She yelled, you quickly walked up to her, stumbling over your heels as you grabbed the collar of her suit, the blue rose falling from it. "You don't get to have me listen to you! Ellie, I hate you! And you threw this ball so you could find a wife, I am not going to play that roll again, just becau—"
She threw you onto the couch, your big dress wrinkling against it as she pinned you down, her arms caging your head from escape like an animal. You let a gasp escape your mouth. Your heels falling off of your feet in the uncomfortable position. "It's not because of your fucking looks! Y/n!" She confessed. Her one arm falling to her side. "It's the fucking history" her lips trembled. "We spent our whole lives together knowing one day all thats around us would be ours to rule, together." she said. "You know my worst fears, goddamn it, and you threw it away just like that." Your breath hitched. "And I know everything there is to know about you, whether I hate you or not." Her arms at your hips now, subconsciously caging you in again. "Those two years I didn't see you, I thought I missed messing with your fuckin' head and flaring your anger up like I was those 15 years, but I really just missed seeing the one person I spent every summer with up until I turned 18" you felt offended, her back handed compliments confusing you. You sat up warily, watching her gaze turn to guilt as you propped your elbow up against the head of the couch. "What the fuck" you breathed. Her face just inches apart from yours that you could feel her heavy breaths up against your lips. "Ellie—" you groaned. "So what are you saying? You're in love with me? After all that?" You scoffed in disbelief. "Yes!" She cried. Your heart pounded at your chest, the warmth between you suddenly growing hotter. You couldn't understand anything, grasp the situation at hand before you reached your hand up to her cheek, cupping it softly before connecting your lips that were inches apart just a few mere seconds ago. You roughly bit down on her lip, the sexual tension flying off the walls. "What're you doing?" She muffled a moan into the kiss, surprised as she gripped your hips. "Fuck you" you whispered, shoving your tongue in her mouth exploring every inch of her as she delicately whined, her embrace tightening. You lazily pushed her down, hovering above her, "all that shit just for this" you breathed, hooking your lips onto her soft freckled skin, leaving a wet trail across her neck, while you undid her button up, the sounds of her heavy breaths and sighs filling up the room, you sucked at her skin. "Fuck" she whined. Messily gripping a handful of your hair as the sticky path of saliva continued down her collar bone, stationd between her breasts. You abruptly stopped, struggling to undo the bows of your corset. Ellie looked up to you with pleading eyes, "lemme—" she heaved, flipping you over, your clothed ass up on her crotch while you held your hair to your shoulder, her fingers unintertwining the ribbons. You sat on your knees, she trailed kisses down the back of your neck, each and every one rougher than the last, your dress slipping off by the second before she threw it to the ground leaving you with only your panties left. "Shit" she whispered as you turned over, pulling her in desperatly, tugging at her lips between your front teeth. "You're so beautiful" she admittedly whispered between breaks. "Thank you" you, you smirked against her lips. You sat on her lap, sucking at her tongue, her hands roaming your body entirely, she played with your boobs, all the thoughts leaving your mind as you threw your head back. "Fuck, Ellie" you moaned. Her wet kisses filling the room with sinful noises.
Her tongue flicked at your hard bud, it only standing more as she sucked at it, toying with the other one while she still squeezed your plush hips.
"I need you" her lips meeting your stomach, butterflies in your lower abdomen began to scour, the heat between your legs only growing stronger as she praised you, worshipping your body like a goddess. "Why are you like this" your jaw dropped, her hands suddenly palming you through your panties, already soaking, moans escaping from your red stained lips, that matched the pair all over Ellie's neck and jaw.
"Lay down" she demanded, squeezing your ass cheek. You immediately layed yourself beside her, her head stationed between your legs as she looked up at you hungrily, a face you'd never seen her make at you before, she kissed the inside of your thighs, biting at them like dessert as her fingers gently rubbed at your throbbing pussy, your panties still unmoving, "mmh~" you muffled, the hickys between your legs butterfly shaped, she continued to rub at your sweet spot, playing with the tangles in your hair as she kissed you softly. Your heart collapsed in on itself, the gentleness something youd never experienced before. "You're being so... So sweet" you heaved into the kiss, staining her lips in lipstick as she rubbed faster. "You deserve it" she smirked against the kiss, leaving more around the rest of your face. The ball room music faintly heard from outside, your mouth formed an ‘O’ as she lowered her head again. Your conversations severly uncoordinated, responding to questions with only moans and whines. She slipped off your panties, only lowering them as far as your knees, "I'm gonna make you never want to leave this room" she kissed your hickey covered thigh again, before nuzzling your clit with her tongue, you flinched at the contact, an overwhelming pleasure washing over you as your legs shaked, leaving her holding your hips down. You felt your walls tighten, she swirled her tongue, every muscle causing you to tense up, her tongue only deepening. "Oh god—" you reclined back, her teeth softly nipping your pussy. "Feel good, princess?" She said. Rubbing your inner thigh reassuringly as she suckled "fuck, yes, Ellie" you whined. The pressure in your stomach building up, "I'm so... Fuck—!!" She slid against your walls, you cupped her hair, thrusting your hips into her tongue, desperately wanting to release the knot. Your wet folds quivering. "Please, Ellie—" you begged, vibrating underneath her touch. She fingered your clit, eating you out both at once. "Ellie, Ellie, Ellie, Ellie!!" You cried you repeated her name like a god. Giving into your pleasurous desires, the creamy white substance leaking down your thigh "shit!" You cried, all she did praising you through your orgasm, just for her fingers to not lift off once. Still her slender fingers pounding inside of you quickly, the slaps of skin filling the room like paddy-cake.
She sat you on her lap again, grinding your hips over her hand, having you ride her as she moved your waist herself, you too weak, for your second orgasm to wash over you, the couch damp in your liquids. "You're doing so good" she whispered, your fingers digging into her skin like daggers. Your heavy breaths drawn over the music. You came again. Your head falling into her shoulder, she tucked the strands of messy hair off your face, tears staining your Rosey cheeks, and her clothes stained in your cum.
"Oh god.."

"Oh god.."
