Getting electric vehicle kits that are easily compatible with your vehicle is essential if you want to save hundreds of hours working on your car. Rewiring, building up and taking apart, and building up and rewiring, and taking apart over and over again. But if you are willing to go through grueling, boring, motivation-killing work, then by all means go right ahead. I'm sure you will be satisfied finding a kit that fits your car much better than not. If you have a car that is not on that list of ready made kits, you will need one of the universal electric vehicle kits. This kit is designed for your car's approximate size and weight. If you don't have a shop with a lot of spare scrap metal bits lying around, you'll probably be happiest with one of the deluxe universal electric vehicle kits rather than one of the basic electric vehicle conversion kits. Although converting your car may not be that simple, you can definitely make it a nice garage project with your friends. You will ultimately save tons of money, get some credit from the government and save the environment. I would say it is a win win situation.

My motor isn鈥檛 working and it鈥檚 brand new
I just got a submergible water pumping motor. I had it connected to a 9v battery on a breadboard, I was checking if the connection on the breadboard is correct so I run it for a second in air (didn鈥檛 put it in water) and then tried to run it in water this time but it won鈥檛 work Is it damaged? Is there any way to fix it?

smoking ceiling fan
(not an electrician) So the ceiling fan started smoking and smelling bad along with making some noise. I don't know if it's just the fan or if there's a bigger problem. Is there any way to know If it was just the fan or anything else? The breaker didn't go off if that helps narrow it down.

All ceiling lights not working, but outlets are fine. Circuit not tripped
My partner and I installed a new light shade from the ceiling pendant of our bedroom. Change over from a cheap paper shade to a nice wooden one. We had used the same lightbulb for only a week, then installed the shade and replaced the bulb. Turned on the light and it did that pop thing that old lightbulbs sometimes do when they're just burned out. However, every other ceiling light in the house no longer worked either, though the outlets were fine. The fuse downstairs didn't trip, but we had put them off and on in case. Still not working. We've turned the switches to the lights off and took the bulb out. House is a New Zealand house built in the 1970s.
Obviously calling an electrician but is there anything else we should do?
Should we be worried about and monitoring anything?

UK Electricians I need your advice.
I鈥檓 currently in a career change after serving some years on the underground doing track maintenance for a living.
I recently applied for the government funded course; Advanced Technical Diploma in Electrical Installation Level 3. This is ran via a community college.
Bare in mind, I have ZERO experience/knowledge in electrics. The course runs for 2 years and I鈥檓 due to attend the interview and assessment day early next month.
Was this a mistake or should I stick with it. Any advice would be appreciated.

Billing duration?
Had some electrical work done a month ago. Not a big job, in and out in a couple hours. Good local company, well respected, and I鈥檝e had good experience with them in the past. But this time, a month on, and I鈥檝e still not received an invoice. It鈥檚 no bother to me, but I鈥檓 curious if this is normal these days? Are y鈥檃ll that swamped?
