I imagine X starting the war as an earth pony and eventually transforming into an alicorn, becoming eternal. Zero would be a unicorn because of his sword—I imagine he wields it using magic. In the end, he also becomes an alicorn, and both he and X become immortal defenders of others. They only have each other to truly understand the burden and stress that comes with that

Xzero week !

I've stopped posting, I know

I've been a bit down these days and I've been charging myself a lot in my drawings, so I'm trying to deal with it SO I made this silly animation for day 4(?) the theme of the day is NIGHTMARE

Well I had an idea of something edgy and very oooo trauma but

I remembered this audio and I wanted to make it to unwind

OKAY AU YAP TIME IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED. I'm just starting to work on this so it could change later(?)

YES I USED THE BUCKET TOOL FOR THIS SO THERE'S PROBABLY SOME SPOTS THAT NEED COLORED BUT IT GETS THE POINT ACROSS FOR NOW

so basically I wanted to make designs for the special abilities and I wanted to make a visualizer for it!! each suit color represents a specific thing or combination of things grouped together because I literally cannot be asked to make the exact color for EVERY ABILITY

red is fire, orange is acid, poison, toxicity or very harmful material like stuff that can make things rot, yellow is light and electricity, green is plants, rocks, bugs, and nature related stuff, light blue is ice and water, purple is the gravity and metal and time warp stuff, pink is laser based abilities and shields and energy stuff, dark brown are general blades, bombs, drones and rockets (basically more artillery stuff), and grey is wind and air stuff!!

now the paired up colors on the left are the primary colors of the ability itself while the right is the interchangeable between the regular primary ability (original) and the secondary ability which is the second most used ability by x when he's swapping around

so like if in this example above x is using fire the most, he's also using ice or water more than any other ability while still mostly using fire. kinda like a hierarchy of most used abilities in the background show up through his armor!! fire 1st, ice/water 2nd, then maybe more hidden abilities he could be using could be metals 3rd and lasers 4th (which wouldn't show up in the secondary color if they're not the 2nd most used)

then obviously if he's just chilling, it'll eventually go back to his regular base color when idling. so he's almost like an elemental chameleon(?) maybe there's something he has that lets him hide the colors to make him less predictable

some of the colors of other suits are very similar to the original secondary suits so slight adjustments might have to be made to the primary suit colors to fit the secondary to differentiate them idk. I'm still figuring it all out but that's what I'm brainstorming

I also plan to make some actual clothing for these abilities too and I know reploids don't need human clothes but it would make them appear more interesting and I can also try to figure out how to transition them when the primary ability shifts to another

like maybe it becomes a temporary hologram and changes to a different one seamlessly but I can't make it too detailed because I'm hoping to add it into possible future comics revolving around this new au

anyways thank you so so so much for reading and looking into this, you literally deserve a treat but I'm not sure what. maybe a cookie? I dunno, maybe whatever your favorite food is tehe (⁠ ⁠╹⁠▽⁠╹⁠ ⁠)
