i appreciate the attempts a lot of game devs are making with gender neutral character creation, and i appreciate that it's actually a very difficult task to implement that depending on the game's base code. but it's so funny to me when you hear an uproar because some game has "entirely removed the gender option from character creation!!!!!" so you go to check it out and its just like

Joel and Grian are trying to start a cult around the ocean.

Grian's reason - To want the ocean to favor him.

Joel's reason - He feels a calling to it, like something is trying to pull him in. Whenever he is out on a boat alone in the ocean, a pink axolotl will try and take him somewhere. He has followed it a few times but doesn't follow it far. He believes if he starts this cult around the ocean, he'll get his answer as to why it wants him.

There's a reason he decided to spend his time trying to get the rare blue axolotl.

gem and joel and etho are all obsessed with each other but crucially i think the vibes are soooo different between them. gem and joel are best friends and cool kids who support each other 100% before anything else. the etho gem obsession is like that of siblings, the younger one idolising the older and the older always bothering the younger. and etho is joel’s work wife and joel is etho’s manic pixie dream girl. and theyre all obsessed with bdubs
