You have it spoken by someone who's burying her own humanity under a facade of corporate presentability because she believes she can do nothing to save humanity.

By someone who's trying to save her family from a cruel and oppressive system by joining the people who control it, no matter how much she regrets it.

By someone who does utterly terrible things that she regrets, not out of selfish desires, but out of utter hopelessness and desperation caused by the knowledge that she cannot do anything to stop the inevitable.

good c!quackity characterization imo is very very rare and 100 red flags literally knocks it out of the park. it's hard to write c!quackity as both guarded enough but also vulnerable where he needs to be and it's hard to pinpoint what breaks him. it's a delicate balance. but yeah 100 red flags is definitely one of my favorite c!tntduo fics and easily one of my favorite portrayals of c!quackity
