Hey guys, the Macedonian queer community/pride parade organizers are trying to crowdfund some money since this year we had some sponsors pull out due to the parade also doubling as a protest for a free Palestine (which like. Good riddance to those guys)

The first pride parade here was held in 2019 so we haven't even gotten to have them for very long (with the pandemic happening the very next year and all). These parades are often the first time people in the queer community get to experience queer joy, and it gives us a space to be ourselves

It'd mean a lot if you donated or shared this around

Here's the crowdfund link- I'm not sure if it'd translate for you guys but basically you click the big red button on that page to donate. You can donate up to 6000 denars aka 113 USD per day, with the given options being 100 (2 USD), 300 (6 USD), 500 (10 USD), 1000 (19 USD), 2000 (38 USD), and 5000 (95 USD). There's a box bellow those prices where you can input a custom amount if you want, but as I said the limit per day is 6000 denars.

The goal is 120k denars (2269 USD) and we are 23% of the way there at time of posting

Hey. Minors following me. Internet safety is key!! NEVER include these in your bio/byf:

Medical diagnoses - this is nobody's business but yours. You don't owe anyone an explanation for why you are the way that you are

Trauma - same reason as above

Triggers - people can use these against you! Don't give people tools to hurt you. No one has to know what tags you block. Just block tags to stay safe!

Age - age is okay for adults to include but is iffy when you're a teen. Predators want this information, don't give people more than they need. Just state that you're a minor, that's all that anyone needs to know.

In general: stay safe. If you're not comfortable with every stranger out there having access to this information, you shouldn't post it on the internet.

Play devil's advocate and ask yourself about what would happen if someone searched for your information with intent to hurt you. You do NOT owe anyone an explanation!
