it's not the fact that people are using the main tag for hate, it's the fact that it's rare that i see anything BUT hate in the main tag, there is literally no reason to use the saltburn tag when that is the only thing you will ever post about the movie and never plan on using the tag. it's different if you're in the fandom and are posting about things you like/dislike. i dislike a LOT of things about the movie, but it's like going into someones home in another neighborhood and saying "your house sucks" and then walking right out, there's literally no point. i don't feel victimized, it just sucks when you love something and go to look at things fellow fans of the movie say, and it's literally nothing but hate. it makes me not want to bother looking or posting anything when all i see is negativity, but i guess that's just me 🤷♀️
daily reminder that it's asshole behavior to post hate about a fandom in the main tag. the amount of "this thing sucks don't bother with it" in the main tag of a fandom i see is disappointing, leave your hate untagged unless you're doing something besides spreading negativity. constructive criticism is one thing and talking about your feelings surrounding something is one thing, but spreading hate to solely spread hate and purposefully putting it somewhere where people that love the thing go is something only assholes do xx

When he found his way to the kitchen, Oliver had his back to him, scooping instant coffee into a mug. He didn't turn around, even though Felix was dripping all over the floor, water pitter-pattering like rain. He was glad to see that the windows had that semi-opaque privacy film on- it meant he could cross the kitchen and wrap his wet arms around Ollie without accidentally flashing a neighbor.
Oliver went deathly still- the teaspoon heaped with brown powder, still inside the jar.
“Did you, uh- did you not spot the towel?”
Felix leaned down, peering at Oliver's face. He was staring straight forward- his eyes twitched, resisting the impulse to look at him.
“Loosen up- it's just a bit of water.” He leaned forward, pecking Ollie's cheek. “I promise I won't do anything stupid, Olls. I'm just going to miss you when I go back, and you've been an absolute brick. Let me give you a little cuddle, yeah?”
