Hospital San Antonio in Mexico

Hospital San Antonio is what I consider to be expensive.  My Shoulder was broken a year ago and the bone replaced but popped out of joint a couple of months ago, the second time this has happened.  The emergency persons who responded to my call asked where I wanted to go to get it fixed and said San Antonio was new, but very expensive.  Anyway, I went there by ambulance, was put asleep fairly rapidly and woke up with it repaired.  The multitude of lab, doctor, anesthesiologist, etc etc etc and an overnight stay cost a little over $19000 pesos.  So somewhere around 1000 US for those who convert.  For comparison I had the same thing happen in the US and it cost over $4000 US.  The care, cleanliness and doctor interface were pathetic.  I felt the cost here was high for Mexico.

I also use Quality Care frequently as they can usually have a specialist come in and it saves running around etc.  The charge ranges anywhere from $800  pesos per visit with a specialist.  I find the inconvenience and I am unhappy with the staff . I will not recommend this hospital to anyone in my life.

Hospital San Antonio Lago de Chapala

Hospital San Antonio Lago de Chapala was once my go to for everything clinical including two fruitful pregnancies and births. After my experience in the trauma center, I won't return. The medical caretakers need client support and sympathy of debilitated patients and group of those encountering a demise.

They revile while kids and older folks are available while congregating in the front as opposed to taking care of the people who matter. The attendants in the front end who are the primary resource didn't satisfy the vow they guaranteed. The Hospital San Antonio bombed me and I'm so disheartened. The 4 hours I was their I likewise saw no cleaning staff particularly in a period of Coronavirus and monkey pox clean surfaces are significant. Not one seat was cleaned or floor wiped. Kindly improve the situation for the lake Chapala community.

It is very sad to intimate that I could had lost my father in Hospital San Antonio del Lago de Chapala due to the doctor’s negligence. I had come for angiography of my father as recommended by the on duty Cardiologist in Hospital San Antonio del Lago de Chapala.

Complaint against Hospital San Antonio del Lago de Chapala

1. Immediately after the angiography my father got severe pain in his stomach, I repeatedly told the nurse on duty about the pain but neither the doctors nor the nurses bothered to see him a single time. When I approached them again in the evening, the doctor asked me where he had pain and said it would not be heart pain and went home. I want to ask him why he was not bothered about the post Angio effects? But he left for his residence, keeping us puzzled.

2. My father was having creatinine of 2.00 even on the day of angiography and the doctor was least bothered about that. He said Angio will not create any problems. I went and asked him what precautions did he take for such patients and why my father was angiographed with precautions? The doctor had no answer for this.

3. My father was regularly taking medicine of Cardio regularly. I want to ask the doctor why the medicine care was not given and why my father was not be shifted to intensive care immediately after angiography as the other patients were taken to intensive care for six hours after angiography ?

This is my sorrow card for your hospital in place of your delight card. Do not visit Hospital San Antonio del Lago deChapala, a sincere request to all fellow residents of Chalapa.
