I’m back and working on my first art ever of one of my own GW2 characters. Still a WIP, but adding a background (shamelessly taken from in-game) helps... a lot. hah

wow okay now i feel bad from my last ask, though in general im a TERRIBLE human being maybe its because you responded kindly idk. anyway, the body still looks a bit off, i guess if you were going for a "plump" body type then its fine. the thighs are a bit on the huge size, proportionally it looks like it's larger than the head. the face is still suffering the same issues as the last one. the nose specifically looks too huge for her face (unless thats what you're going for)

(2/2) your recent sketches however, have better body proportions than your paintings. keep up the practicing. sorry for being an asshole. though i really intended to be one so there's no excuse for that lol.            

First off, thank you for actually coming back and critiquing! I’m a thighs kinda girl but I wasn’t intending for them to come off that big lmao, and I’ll keep what you’ve been saying about faces in mind. Time to actually work on proportions again T_T But thank you for the positivity about the sketches!

Second, though, I really appreciate the apology, and 100% forgiven. It was a good learning experience for me as I haven’t really gotten hate asks before - or critiques from people I don’t know, for that matter.

I’ve had days like that too tbh, but the only time I did it on tumblr I forgot to turn on anon for it and that was, uh, interesting. Learned my lesson. Wishing you the best, though, and have a great day <3

honestly, you are NOT getting okay at drawing. lol. you're getting okay with shading sure, but the drawing is TERRIBLE do something about the nose and mouth and overall headshape.

Thanks for the critique! I wasn’t really happy with how that one came out but couldn’t pin it down.

And I am getting okay - because my stuff before that is even worse. If I could become a great artist overnight, I would, trust me!
