In an effort to become healthier, and more like Beyonce, we have decided to lose some weight and slowly but surely morph into a two headed “she-human.” Though we are doing Weight Watchers together, we decided to also post what we eat each day, along with other fun stuff, on this lovely blog in order to both hold ourselves more accountable and to keep you all entertained. so this posting thing...
Hi guys...
I've been skipping days... I'M SORRY! I wish that I could say that I have been out and about being exciting but the reason I've been forgetting is that I've been eating the same things!  Smoothies with spinach and chia seeds, potatoes with fat free sour cream, veggies, apples and ban-a-nays, etc. 
My lovely mom did get me bagels thins that are WONDERFUL! That with low fat weight watchers cream cheese are my new jam. Also, broccoli slaw pouches at Publix in the salad section are wonderful! and only 2 points per serving! The salad/slaw keeps quite well and is quite delish :)
Case and I had a couple skip days this weekend (including adult bevies and white bread and full fat cheese, OH YUM!). I went to visit pals on Saturday at the Alafia river Rendezvous and had some homemade pimento cheese and crackers (TOTALLY WORTH IT). I was had steamed shrimp, with a baked potato and salad on Sunday with Dad, Maryann, Syd, Dan and Deronda. Tried my 1st steamed oyster and really liked it! Also, went to the always yummy Silver Ring after a substitute teacher meeting on Monday. It was a necessary splurge haha Had bourbon chicken at the mall yesterday but didn't eat but half of what I got so I'm not sure that I would classify that as a "splurge" even though it was delicious and felt like a splurge. :)
Subbed at a middle school today and lined up a job at the same school tomorrow so probably going to do something VERY simple for dinner tonight (like a baked potato... surprised??? I'm nothing if not consistent!) and pass out as early as socially acceptable.

4.8 pounds down this week!
Can I get a "what what?!" SO freaking excited! 
Thought FOR SURE I didn't lose any weight because of my semi not good days last weekend but alas, that was not the case!

Hello, Hello!
Yet another late update! Sorry! I will get better :)
The long and short of my week is: baked potatoes with fat free sour cream, whole wheat pasta with chicken and pesto, english muffins, weight watchers ice cream bars, apples, bananas, and lots of veggies. 
I am, as I type this, trying oatmeal for the first time in a longggggggg time. Must say that I am not a huge fan... trying to like it though as it is apparently great for people trying to lose weight. If only cheese grits were healthy! 
Also, in other news: I made homemade veggie burgers a couple days ago! they are supposed to stay in the freezer for a while before you cook them so I will probably try those out tonight.  Will post the recipe I used and a picture later :) 
As for this morning: oatmeal made with almond milk, a banana, (and since I am not a fan of this oatmeal) probably gonna make a little smoothie too. Bought spinach to try in my smoothies, so I'm gonna try that! WISH ME LUCK.

Hello All!
Quick update: I lost 2.5 pounds last week! Woo Hoo! Trying to be excited about that and not discouraged as I am incredibly impatient but it's a marathon not a sprint right??? :)
Anyway, I went to a music festival yesterday and partook in some BBQ, a tiny taco (which I only ate half the tortilla of so really it was a baby taco salad), a few adult bevies and an arepa (Venezuelan grilled cheese as I have heard it called). I was there ALLLLL day sooooo I was not super excited with myself but no fried stuff so I was definitely proud of that! The funnel cakes were hard to turn away haha 
Today I went to the Silver Ring and had white cuban bread for the first time in a while so NO REGRETS.  Had yummy pork with half a twice baked tater and lots of veggies that the always lovely Maryann cooked up tonight for dinner, them got back home and had an english muffin and veggies as a late night snack and also a WW ice cream bar....
TOMORROW I WILL BE BETTER! hahaha Had a couple not so hot days but it happens and tomorrow I will make sure to be back on track :)

My favorite smoothie! Fat free Greek yogurt, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, a banana, a bit of fat free milk, and chia seeds. Tastes like a blueberry milkshake! Yummmm :) Happy eating! -Em

soooo i missed a couple days...
Well, I am happy to report that I have been eating almost the exact same things that i have been posting about the past week (with the exception of last night).  
Got a bit caught in the last couple days so I will give everyone a brief synopsis of my meals: english muffins, baby carrots, chicken pesto pasta leftovers, turkey sammy at Perkins (which was quite good!), and smoothies with chia seeds. Oh and green tea, obviously. I am sipping a massive glass of green tea and boiling water for another batch as I type this as a matter of fact.   
Last night, though, I did partake in some delicious sushi and some “big kid beverages” out with Pimp Daddy Chuck (aka my dad) and Maryann. The few big kid bevies I did partake in were vodka tonics and light beers as to be good and not completely wreck my good progress. :) 
Also! Did my first walk around the neighborhood yesterday to help move progress along! Downloaded an awesome app, that I will put more details about when it’s not 1 PM on Saturday, to help track my progress. Did 2.4 miles yesterday, would have gone longer but I got a gnarly blister (so large that I took pictures of it. I’m debating putting them on here, but lets be honest, no one wants to see that) so I’m going to let that guy settle down before my next long walk, and borrow some different tennis shoes beforehand too! 
Well, hope everyone is having a great Saturday! About to go have my first WW weigh in, wish me luck! :)

Good morning friends, Case here! I also have yesterday meals and today’s breakfast to catch up on. 1/13/14

Breakfast: Protein shake with peanut butter, Ovaltine, and a banana- 5 points Lunch: Avocado, light mayo, on a piece of whole wheat toast- 5 points Dinner: Grilled chicken, beans, broccoli, diced tomatoes, and tomato sauce (sound familiar, I stole it from em!)- 8 points
Also, my saving grace.. WW ice cream- 3 points
Kettle corn- 3 points.

Breakfast: Avocado, scrambled eggs, and a piece of whole wheat toast with a little butter.
I am loving this food blog! I already have a personal blog and really love to get my words down on virtual paper. If you have any delicious recipes you’d think Em and I would like, share them! We both like the same food and love to try new things.

Keepin on, keepin on :)
Hello hello all! Still keepin with it here and feeling quite awesome! Have been drinking a ridiculous amount of water, just because I guess, and man I have felt like a million bucks because of it! Proud to announce that today I thought I splurged by having a hotdog at the movie theater (I saw "Her" with Hanner, it was quite enjoyable and man was it a hipster movie!) but I just sat down to calculate my points for the day and I'm 6 points below my points for the day! Can you say weight watchers ice cream bar?! I. Can. Anyway, for today I had: 1 baked potato with butter and fat free sour cream, baby carrots, 1 previously mentioned hotdog with ketchup, and for late dinner I made chicken pesto whole wheat pasta that turned out quite wonderfully. I also started drinking green tea again and I cannot say enough good things about fresh brewed iced green tea! Tastes great and doesn't need sugar or anything. I know Caser has been working alllll dayyyyy picking up some over time hours but I'm sure we shall be hearing from her shortly. :) so glad case and I decided to do this together! Only a few days in and feeling great already! Hope everyone is having a wonderful Tuesday, now it's law and order SVU / WW ice cream bar time for me. Sleep sweet everyone! -em

Hello all! Quick post from me today to catch up on tomorrow and today. 
Yesterday- 
For Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs with 1 light english muffin with butter and a banana.
For Lunch: 1 light english muffin with butter, baby carrots, and grapes
For Dinner: whole wheat pasta with meat sauce, 1 slice of whole wheat bread and butter
Today -
For breakfast: 1 english muffin with butter and a banana
Had a weird day so no lunch, whoops!
For dinner: 1 baked potato with butter and fat free sour cream, sweet corn, and something else (I have yet to decide haha)

Who's that girl?? It's Case!
Hello all, this is Casey!
Sorry for being tardy to the party. I am so excited for mine and Emily’s new adventure, or as some my refer it our “lifestyle change.” (I know, it annoys me too. So that’s the last I will mention it!)
As Emily mentioned we have been besties for all of her life, most of mine. The 4 years without her were the worst ever! We have laughed, cried, yelled, and fist fought over which Queen song we want to listen to; however, through all of our emotions we have also grubbed together and that brings us to this blog!
Don’t get me wrong, we are 2 HOT, CURVY chicks that would rock your world, but we want to be HEALTHY, hot, curvy chicks. I have previously lost 30 pounds on weight watchers and kept most of it off. I am looking to bid farewell to another 40 pounds and I KNOW I can do it. Emily is one of my biggest encouragers in life, especially with her by my side I can only go down on the scale.
A little back story on myself. I am 26, a wife, mother and just recently a breast cancer survivor (woo hoo!). I am an emotional eater and self diagnosed food addict. I. Love. Food. Plain and simple. I am looking forward to reinstating a healthy relationship with food and rocking a hot body again.
I am now catching myself starting a novel, SO I’ll get to the nitty gritty!
So far today I have had a strawberry protein shake for breakfast worth 5 points. Nerds at church for 2. A cucumber and a very large amount of hummus for 4 points and lastly an amazing WW ice cream bar for 3 points.
I’ll report back tonight on a final count for the day. Emily and I will be texting back and forth as our favorite lady soul mates host the golden globes. Emily is our grandparents current favorite and hanging with our Grandmomma at Moffit in Tampa for the weekend. Yes, she’s a saint and selfless. So what?? ;)

Em here again to finish day one: 
- made a yummy no fat plain Greek yogurt, blueberry, and banana smoothie with my new favorite thing: CHIA SEEDS! Nom nom nom 
- and for dinner I cooked for my grandmama and I, boneless skinless chicken breast (cooking in EVOO and garlic), portobello mushrooms, and cannellini beans in a tomato sauce with a piece of whole wheat bread and the dreaded ONE PAD OF BUTTER. Bum bum bummmmmmmm! You can see the picture above. ‘Twas quite yummy! Feelin great after day one! Watching crappy real life CSI shows on basic cable while grandmama sleeps and looking forward to tomorrow :) happy weekend!

Emily's Day Numero Uno;
Hello all! Emily here! 
Signed up for Weight Watchers yesterday and Case and I made our pact last night to do this thing for real. So, after going to see Wolf of Wall Street and eating our last crazyyyyyy binge snack (2 scoops of ice cream, a cookie, and a coke (DONT JUDGE US)), it is on!
So to begin our food tracking!
This morning/early afternoon I had: 1 fuji apple (my fave!), sliced up cantaloupe, a light english muffin with my splurge for the morning: ONE PAD OF BUTTER, a cup of coffee with fat free half and half, and a dose of optimism to top it all off. :)
