This is the first chapter in my fan comic, Firestarter. It begins roughly a month after the pilot and runs concurrently with the first season. It features a new character by the name of Phoenyx who has a history with Lucifer, and believe in Charlie's dream of redemption and wants to make it reality.

But it's simply not that easy.

As previously stated, Lucifer had nothing to do with Phoenyx getting kicked out of heaven.

Phoenix got kicked out of heaven because she was the only angel who wouldn't let Adam do whatever the hell he wanted, up to and including getting physical with her when she had repeatedly told him no. Literally hundreds of times. Over centuries.

So when he finally put his hands on her and tried to make her do what he wanted, she snapped.

And she got kicked out of heaven for it because she attacked another angel. Never mind that he was trying to SA her. Because keeping peace in heaven is so much more important than personal integrity or the right to one's own body.

Not going to lie, I am totally into this pair.

This is Lucifer's new love interest in my head canon. Her name is Phoenyx. He calls her Fee. She's a fallen angel who was his only real friend while he was still in heaven, the only one who would listen to his crazy ideas and not tell him he was, well, crazy. She fell in love with him but she was afraid to tell him because she didn't want to ruin their friendship and then he fell in love with Lilith and God his ass kicked out of heaven and she thought she'd never see him again. Millenia later she herself got kicked out of heaven for totally unrelated reasons and through a series of mad cap misadventures and a possible severe disconnect in heaven's bureaucracy she ended up on Earth instead of in hell like she was supposed to. She kicked it around Earth for about 4,000 years and finally managed to make her way to Hell proper, hooked back up with lucifer, who by then was a free agent, and they became an item.

She wholeheartedly supports Charlie's ideas of redemption because 4,000 years on Earth has actually given her something of a liking for humanity. She believes everyone deserves a shot at getting into heaven. Even if she and Lucifer can never go back. Fee doesn't care where she is, as long as she's with him.

I'm making comics about this story and I'm going to start posting those too. Trouble is I made them out of order, but I'll go ahead and post what I've got and then start working on the earlier stuff so we can have a cohesive story.

The Hellaverse has eaten my brain.

Hazbin Hotel in particular is my new obsession and has been since I was introduced to the pilot last year.

Now, I love Helluva Boss too, Millie and Moxie are my dream team and power couple, I think Ozzie and Fizz are absolutely adorable, and I am a hardcore Stolitz shipper and I'm quietly hoping that the upcoming episode Full Moon isn't going to completely shatter my heart into itty bitty pieces.

But Charlie and her crew hold a special place in my heart for many reasons. Keep among them is the fact that my love for Vivienne Medrano's passion project has reawakened creativity in me that I thought died with my partner of 32 years back in October of 2021.

I am creating, I am dreaming again.

And I find myself identifying very, very strongly with the duck daddy himself.

The character identify with most is Lucifer, because I know what it's like to be drowning in a black pit of depression, and I know what it's like to have to fight and claw my way back into the light. I know what it's like to have my ability to dream taken away, only discover that it had never really gone but lay within me all the time. I know what it's like to lose everything, and then find something else to live for. It's not the same, and I will never stop morning the love that I lost, but I'm learning to move on.
