Ninjago - Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu, ep. 14:

Wu says "Nya, tell Lloyd to be careful with the scroll. It is dangerous. The less he handles it, the better."

... Now, Wu, why is it only Lloyd who's supposed to be careful with the scroll?🤨 Why not say "the less any of you handle it"? Hello? Wu? Please? No "tell Zane and Lloyd"? Just him? Nothing of that sort?

It just makes me wonder, because those three were just at the Explorer's Club with the mirror of their greatest fears (which is already hinting at Crystalized and Oni Lloyd, in a way) and Lloyd saw himself as his resurrected father in it. If Lloyd had been the one to get corrupted by the scroll instead of Zane.. could it have caused Oni Lloyd?

alright! i am kind of trying to get my room to look presentable lately, which means rearranging my lego and i have been wondering with which minifigures i should populate my city.. starting out with the tree bench!

I mean, yeah, it was there from the start, but I don't think it was there because of his wind powers. From what I remember hearing/reading somewhere, a parent doesn't immediately lose their power when they get a kid, I think the kid has to be a little older to start showing if they can use their parents powers or not. If the streak disappeared when he lost his powers, did it just randomly appear on him when he gained the powers? And wouldn't that also kind of imply that it is connected/essential to the powers of wind- and thus.. wouldn't Euphrasia need to have a green hair streak now after she gained the powers? :')

If an elemental master has reached a certain age (40-50) their power fades away but starts showing itself in their offspring;

If an elemental master merges with their element before they reach that age it fully shows itself in their offspring after their parent has completed their elemental-merge;

If an elemental master passes away before they reach that age the power shows itself fully in their offspring after their parent has passed away;

If an elemental master has no offspring the power roams around on its own until it finds someone it claims to be right for this role

Kai and Skylor get into a relationship because everyone had expected them to but Kai is unhappy. He hasn't liked Skylor romantically in a long time, since her betrayal during the tournament. He ends up lashing out on her first, then later when he's confronted by Chen and Skylor's mom he lashes out again, causing a fight between Chen and his wife because Kai revealed that Chen and Clouse were "a thing" during the tournament. (Song: TX2 - Black Wedding)

au in which kai (17) raised his sister nya (14) after the disappearance of their parents and worked as a regular blacksmith. one day he recieves an invitation to a kingdom known as shintaro, ruled by a family of earth elementals, and is asked to come for a visit to talk about a potential offer that would make the lives of him and his sister much better. a few days later he dropped his sister of by mystake, a local old tea shop owner, and traveled alongside her apprentice lloyd to the kingdom. lloyd delivers an order for the prince's upcoming birthday while kai goes to meet the royal family. when he enters the room and sees the family, especially their son, his heart skips a beat and leaves him speechless.

inspired by the lyrics of mcr's song 'demolition lovers'

placed in a sort-of modern world the young ninja have to deal with a bigger problem than ever: people wanting to end humanity. with the ninja separated cole and kai are stranded in a desert with only themselves as ash begins to rain from the sky. where the other ninja and their sensei have ended up is unknown to them but the two decide to spent their seemingly last days with talking about all their thoughts and feelings so that, should they die soon, they won't regret not having gotten everything off of their chests. but there's suprisingly some romantic feelings

fun fact at the end the others are supposed to show up as the two accept their 'deaths' and they're like "what the fuck is going on here, why are you being so dramatic" lol

This takes place in pretty much our world and the ninja are..well, just ordinary young teens fresh out of school.

The friendgroup called themselves 'Ninja' after meeting in martial arts classes after school and easily bonded - for the most part. Everyone carried their own personal struggles with them that had made it a little heart to befriend the others, though that is the story of the past. Over the years the six students grew really close and a few of them even found love: Jay and Nya thought they were meant to be, despite their many on and of's, and Zane fell for a girl called Pixal feom another city. Right at the end of highschool their seemingly inseperable friendgroup collapsed, however.

Nya broke up with Jay and moved out of the appartment she shared with her older brother Kai that same evening, wishing to not be contacted by anyone from that point on. Zane moved away to live with Pixal and the rest hadn't been coping too well. Kai now only had his adoptive younger brother Lloyd to look over and severly missed his sister, Lloyd struggled with helping him stay on the right path, meanwhile Jay was heartbroken. Lloyd doesn't really know what to do to keep Kai from falling deeper into his grieving and has reached out to Cole in hopes of him being able to bring the fire back into their hotheaded friend.

ninjago au: lloyd distances himself after crystalized (ft. an oc)

-changed/altered timeline & events-

He practically doesn't go to the others right after the crystalkings/overlords defeat and disappears. Everyone thinks he died but no one found his remains. He actually went and hid, frequently dying his hair brown and wearing a cap & regular clothes to look different. On the evening before the anniversary of the crystalkings/overlords defeat/his presumed death he runs into midnight who thinks she recognizes him but then notices she must've been wrong. They eventually go their own ways after that awkward exchange & see each other during lloyds memorial where he introduces himself to her & the team (+ living morro) as damien. Kai is a little suspicious of him, midnight is oblivious, morro knows what's going on & the rest barely pay him enough attention to notice who they're actually talking to. Shortly after they all stay but lloyd/damien goes to his apartment, once there he recieves a message from morro who reminds him that he can't hide from them forever. He replies that he knows that and just asks morro for a little more time. Morro reluctantly agrees.

He watched me with cold eyes.

He was unimpressed.

I looked at my hand, amusement in my eyes.

A little tornado started to form.

"Because I am the opposite of your son."

The tornado grew more violent before I made it vanish from my palm.

I look at him, cold and serious.

"I am the bringer of your death

if you won't hand him back over to me."

Laughter filled the room.

First it was quiet, then it grew louder, maniacal even.

"You are wrong", he growled at me.

"You have no idea who you're up against.

It is your sons and my shared destiny.

We will take you down.

That's what the Yin-Yang-Destiny says."

He remained unimpressed by my words.

Only then could you hear creaking

which was soon followed by footsteps.

He had freed himself.

The Yin-Yang Ninja stood together again.

Giving death glares his father finally gave in.

He let us go.

Without a word or look back we left.

My friend, my cousin, my teammate and my leader.

He was it all.

And he held the same destiny as me.

I could tell he felt uneasy to leave.

His eyes were glowing faintly,

a sign of him struggling to keep his inner power from taking control.

"The team needs you.

I'm glad you're back safe", I assured him.

Being a leader wasn't easy, I knew that much.

He wasn't going easy on himself either.

"We need to get the others back together", he declared.

I nodded and gave him a pat on the back.

The walk back to the graveyard of Stiix was long

but I was glad to share it with him.

Only he understood my struggles with my Oni blood.

Only I understood his struggles with his Dragon blood.

Ninjago AU: "Deathbringers" (notes collection (very long))

A Sandstormshipping AU following the events of if Garmadon won against Wu when stealing the golden weapons all those years before the show starts.

GENERAL AU NOTES: (MOSTLY UNSORTED/NOT SUPER CHRONOLOGICAL)

Garmadon wins over wu → wus protection spell does not happen and garmadon has the golden weapons now

Thus the ninja never train under wu and meet later in life

Lloyd and morro are the same ages as the other 4 core ninja (19-20 years old)

There are two chosen ninja meant to exist in a yin yang situation → lloyd and morro

The ninja meet through different circumstances, their sensei becoming misako as she hopes to stop her ex husband → kai still became a ninja to save nya → jay became a ninja for unknown reasons → zane became a ninja because he was built to be one → cole reluctantly became a ninja → lloyd willingly became a ninja → morro was unsure about becoming a ninja yet did it anyway

The ninja and misako go to the fire temple to attempt to rescue nya → they fail and nya is taken to the underworld and never returns → kai gets desperate and ends up almost falling into the lava had cole not caught his hand → kai is traumatized by all this and refuses to go on further missions or train → once cole and morro know how to do airjitzu to (hopefully) free Lloyd kai snaps back into reality and becomes part of the team again → his weapon aren't dual katanas, a single katana or the sword of fire but the dragon blade as well as other weapons with a blade on each side → later he switches to a kusarigama

Zane freezes to his practical death inside the ice temple while on a mission to get the dragon to join the ninja team → he originally used shurikens → if he were to reappear he would probably switch to using a spear or naginata

Jay disappears without a trace → his weapon used to be nun chucks before switching to an axe shortly before his disppearance

Cole does not enjoy being a ninja as misako guilt tripped him into it with the death of his mother → he takes his mothers blades with him as his main weapon → misako sends him to the caves of dispair to retrieve a scythe and get the dragon to join their team → he is successful in both → he discovered morro in the cave system and helped him out, theyve been really close ever since → coles father does not like his son wielding a massive scythe as if he's a grim reaper and stops staying in touch with him → cole never gets a hammer as a weapon

lloyd joined the team for his moms sake but his destiny is crushing him → he feels an odd bond to morro even before their destinies are revealed → uses a single sword or katana until his imprisonment → once freed he uses a mace

Morro joins after cole saved him out of the caves of despair → the destiny means alot to him yet he doesn't act like it → unbeknownst to him (and everyone) he is an offspring of wu and koko (mystake?) → while cole still prefers to use his mothers blades in battle morro often uses and carries the scythe instead, despite having a weapon of his own → his weapon is a double-blade like kais dragon blade → though since jay disappeared he also enjoyed using an axe

Lilly (coles mum) never defeats griefbringer but gets very injured and returns home with the blades of deliverance → lilly still passes away as normal yet cole never makes his promise with her, he doesn't like fighting at all

Because griefbringer is never defeated the city of shintaro is never founded → the geckle and munce never see the surface world → hazza d'urs remains burned in the lava inside the mountain → chompy is griefbringers son → she dies of starvation inside the mountain when a cave in traps her and she cant get out → chompy grows up and terrorized numerous towns until cole was later sent to end his life (cole reveals to morro he never killed chompy)

Cole is depressed but just sad and nothing else, kai gets depression and ptsd after losing his sister and almost dying to lava and seeing as cole saved him he tends to stay close to him to calm down, lloyd is depressed and probably has bpd due to his dad, morro is depressed to the brim and struggling with intrusive thoughts almost 24/7 unless cole is nearby to 'ground' his mind and might be schizophrenic, zane and jay are unknown or don't have any mental health issues

Samurai x does not exist → despite this, pixal is a warrior robot like zane who helps the guys out frequently → however she does not want to join their team → her color sheme is dark purple with black and grey accents

No one has elemental powers → the elemental/energy dragons do not exist as a result (including the fire/water & electricity/water fusion dragons)

Their enemies are the skullkin and the re-awakened which come from the local graveyards → this is where the ninja mostly fight their enemies

They wear suits referred to as 'graveyard gis' → this is due to them being mostly black and dark grey with few dark color accents to differentiate the team members → kai has blood red or the red shade of vermilion → cole has dark orange or the orange shade of vermilion → morro has desaturated dark green → lloyd has dark green → their metallic armor is in gunmetal grey

Eventually lloyd is captured and held hostage by garmadon → kai gets held hostage in the underworld by an unknown ruler (not samukai or another skullkin) → this leaves cole and morro by themselves, spending alot of time together

Rocky, flame, shard & wisp never become ultra

Lloyds golden dragon isn't an energy dragon created by him but an actual dragon (Gold)

Morro has his own wind dragon (Breeze)

The dragons (gold, breeze, rocky, flame, shard, wisp & chompy) know of each other and hang out at the spirit coast during the day, helping the ninja at night (chompy being an exception as he returns to the shintaro mountains instead)

Candy, sweets and pastries are hard to come by and if you do they are extremely expensive → neither lloyd or cole are sweet tooths

Cole and morro meet seliel, jerahn ("chuck") and the other students of yang and yang himself meet in the airjitzu temple when cole and morro visit it in hopes of getting stronger (no one is a ghost or cursed) → seliel doesn't know cole → she trains under yang to learn martial arts like the other students → she crushes on jerahn

The serpentine are going extinct due to garmadon having ordered it → the anacondrai did not resort to cannibalism but are the smallest tribe with only 4 members remaining (including arcturus and pythor) → the fangpyre are also few in numbers → the pyro vipers are going down in numbers quickly (aspheera and char are still alive) → the hypnobrai have lost the least members of their tribe yet but they fear for the worst (skales is their leader) → the venomari are stuck inside a tomb and slowly die of starvation → the constrictai are tunneling underground to connect all the hideouts of the serpentine tribes for times of need → the vermillion live underneath ninjago city in the sewers which serves as the central meeting grounds of the serpentine since the destruction of the city of ouroboros → clancee, the snake warriors and the maaray guards frequently travel around the surface world to inform the other serpentine of anything new → the great devourer, fire fang, wojira and clouse's pet anacondrai have been killed by garmadon to make the serpentine and the maaray guards afraid of him

-scythe of quakes → cole befriends the dragon (rocky) → he gets the scythe → he discoveres and helps morro

-sword of fire → kai barely befriends the dragon (flame) → the volcano threatens to erupt as kai has the sword → the threatening eruption caused nya to fall into the lava (from everyone's pov) → kai almost falls in the lava himself and hangs on a cliff, cole reaches his scythe to him to save his life → the sword has fallen into the lava and is gone → flame helps the group escape the volcano before the eruption

During their training lloyd gets kidnapped by garmadon (briefly mentioned at the top ↑) and morro goes to find him alone (he manages to free him) → cole is trying to get kai into a better mental place

some time after this misako disappears (might be kidnapped by garmadon) → the ninja know of yang's temple from ronin and go there → the ninja manage to convince yang to become their new ninja master/sensei until they find misako again (they won't)

NOTES: THE NEW SERPENTINE SPECIES GARMADON CREATED

How they were created:

Garmadon had various members of the Serpentine tribes kidnapped and held hostage by his henchmen. He used them to eventually lay eggs and crossbreed, creating hybrids that were only used to create even more hybrid offspring until he achieved an adaptable kind of hybrid that he could use to scare the citizens of Ninjago.

All official Serpentine species:

Anacondrai (can turn invisible)

Pyrovipers (can take on fire elemental power (immune to fire) or crystal power) [evolved into] Hypnobrai (can hypnotize and see what you see)

Constrictai (can dig/tunnel, thicker skin)

Vermillion (non sensitive eyes and good vision)

- kai is left out for the first bit because he grieves the loss of his sister, which happens after morro joins the ninja, and becomes a primary team member of the remaining 4 ninja after lloyd was rescued from garmadon by morro

-morro and lloyd are literally cousins and share a destiny on top of that, idk the similarities between them in canon were too tempting to ignore (both with the green gi & dragon symbol; morro being found by wu, lloyd being garmadons son; lloyd starting evil (serpent) and turning good (dragon), morro starting good (dragon) and turning evil (serpent); morro having died in one of the first places the show ever visits), it reminds me of ying yang stuff and with lloyd always using bright/light greens and my association of morro with desaturated, darker greens it seemed right. also the oni/dragon heritage wu and garmadon have, like wouldn't it be funny if in crystalized it turned out lloyd didn't even have oni genes and only human/dragon dna? and thus morro got the oni/human dna in here from wu because lloyd is an innocent cinnamon roll and morro is an insane assassin

- the bond between cole and morro starts with cole noticing him during the mission to retrieve the scythe of quakes. with an injured, almost unconscious morro cole makes his way back out of the caves of despair. he frequently checks on morro as he recovers

• the situation with that realm stuff is complicated/messy and i hate it so here's how the underworld works in this

- basically a mix of 4 canon realms: underworld, realm of madness, cursed realm, departed realm

- the underworld, canonically and from my understanding, houses the skulkin who were banished for their war crimes. you could argue that this is basically hell but then why did they make the cursed realm in the first place? they sound too similar with their purposes. so i feel like the underworld is where someone can only go to by banishment before their death- which would explain why there's skeletons and not ghosts in the pilots/mini movies/flashbacks, otherwise there is no way for you to end up in this realm (except the entrance in the fire temple)

-the realm of madness, canonically from my understanding, seems to be where you practically lose your mind if you stay there too long. your body changes (garmadon growing an extra pair of arms there) and it's weird and nothing makes sense (kind of like wonderland but dark and not chaotic). it's mostly mind altering and it starts shortly after you've arrived, it drives you mad, so mad that you wouldn't hesitate to attack or even murder the first person you see once you leave or who also enters the realm. that's rare tho and that's also why there's no animals, no skeletons/zombies/ghosts etc but only 'monsters' like the kraglings

- the cursed realm is practically hell, a place where your soul goes after you've passed away and only if you've done some really bad things (see morro, despite there not being a clear answer to what he did, but it must've clearly been extremely horrid things). it is home to ghosts and nothing else

- the departed realm is where the soul of everyone and everything that has died goes to, no matter where they're from. if a ghost from the cursed realm were to pass away from contact with water their soul would end up in the cursed realm again unless they started to work towards redemption in their afterlife, then they have a slim chance of being accepted into the departed realm, free from the cursed realm (so, if the cursed realm is like hell, this one is like heaven)

-- the underworld in this story would only be accessible through the entrance behind the lava-fall in the fire temple; you can be banished there for your commited atrocities before your death and end up as a skulkin or pass away with such a tainted soul that you wake up there as a ghost; the green ghosts are the cursed ones, the grey ones the 'good'/redeemed ghosts that once were cursed as well; the longer you stay there (if you're not a skulkin or ghost) you'll go mad and start doing bad things, these could end up leaving you banished or cursed in the underworld where you might (but don't have to) succumb to it and lose your mind completely

After Morro's possession Lloyd hasn't really been the same. On the day of the departed he turns into an Oni but is unable to calm down or transform back

After morro's possession of lloyd the latter is struggles with staying sane, occasionally behaving exactly like morro did. Everyone thinks it'll go away again and he'll be normal after he had some time but it only gets worse. On day of the departed lloyd doesn't go to the corridor of elders with his mother, she worries where he is (like lou does for cole) and when morro and wu find the other ninja they go to help cole while morro goes for lloyd. When he finally finds lloyd he sees him snap and lose his last grip on reality as he becomes an oni (his golden oni form). Morro tries calming lloyd down but only manages to hold him off until the team, wu and cole arrive and manage to tackle lloyd. The core four manage to hold him down while wu, morro and nya hear misako call for their help as pythor tried attacking her. They drive him away but misako sees that he dropped some vengestone. They use it to chain lloyd up on the bounty until they know what's going on. Morro remains by his side. At the monastery pixal had gotten some vengestone for them to use so lloyd can't use his powers on them (but they also can't use theirs on him). He is now chained in their 'secret base' (aka where the elevator behind the tv leads) with morro as his only company.

Lloyd manages to hurt himself which causes him to snap out of his Oni form. The other ninja & Pixal arrive shortly after. Kai and Cole immediately run to lloyd, cole looks at morro a few times while the two try to comfort lloyd. The others also start making their way to lloyd but pixal stops them. She grabs a first aid kit and orders jay to get a dry towel, nya to get a glass of water and zane goes to the chair by the computer with pixal. Kai and cole help lloyd over there so pixal can take a look at his wounds. He has multiple cuts in his face that bleed but one near his eye is deeper than the rest. Kai and cole hold him down in the chair as she cleans the cuts, cole keeps looking over to morro who looks like he could use some comfort himself. Wu comes down as well as is shocked by what he sees and stands by the elevator. When the wounds have been cleaned pixal brings the first aid kit back to where it was, zane goes to explain to wu what they saw when they all came down there a few minutes prior, jay and nya leave to bring the now dirty towel to the laundry and prepare him something to eat in the kitchen and kai runs off to grab lloyd a new shirt to wear that doesn't have blood on it. Cole is left holding lloyd in place in the chair and he keeps looking to morro, motioning for him to come over. Morro explains cole what happened.

Lloyd is also a bit older than he canonically is at this time (they all are,, technically the timeline is different)

notes 3: (my sleep token - ascensionism amv/pmv idea)

For an unnamed AU with an altered timeline that takes place during DOTD, where Lloyd transforms into an Oni while fighting Pythor, Morro sends the rest of the ninja team to look for Cole while Morro was looking for Lloyd.

This would be memories of Lloyd and Morro interacting with each other at the start/end of s5 & near the end Oni!Lloyd breaking out of his shackles to attack Morro. When he is about to attack him Morro reveals that he only wishes to be freed of his suffering (aka everything he's done to prove himself to Wu & destiny) Oni!Lloyd gets off of him as something inside of him is triggered. At the very end they both scream that the other makes them wish they could disappear.

ninjago au: "Haunting Voice"

basically everything's the same until the ninja meet in s8 ep1 and point out that lloyd voice has changed, but they mention it reminds them faintly of a certain ghost that took over lloyds body. lloyd becomes very aware of every little thing he does and says afterwards, despite his interest in harumi he stays away to figure out what happened and why is voice resembles morro's. to his shock morro's possession years ago had affected his body for more than the brief takeover and brought long lasting effects with it. in his nightmares he's visited by morro, despite the ghost having changed his ways and passed away the last time they saw him. morro's voice haunts him and brings him to unlock something inside him that might be the key to destroying garmadons new stone colossus, harumi and his resurrected father: his oni-form.

ninjago au: evil darkleys lloyd + green ninja morro (different from that other idea because morro is alive and lloyd does not want to join them)

Morro is alive at the same time as the core four ninja and trains with them. He's the master of wind & the green ninja. He's also the same age as them.

Lloyd is the same age as the other ninja and spent his entire life at darkleys. He's worked hard to become cunning & has pretty much no fears. He's not afraid to step in his fathers footsteps. He enjoys talking with irony and sarcasm, taunting people and is pretty smart. He purposely unleashes the serpentine tribes & isn't afraid of what they'll do. He never forgives misako for dropping him off at darkleys without ever checking on him. He's mad at wu for also never checking on him or getting him out of there despite knowing what his nephew was going through. Life at darkleys wasn't easy at all and he used all the anger and rage from those experiences to turn him into a heartless villain. He's good friends with gene and brad. He's cold hearted. He eventually unlocks his elemental powers, energy, during his time at darkleys and trains it.

The s1 scenes with lloyd do not happen. The ninja just do their stuff but with morro (he's not evil/an antagonist but on the side of the ninja the entire time). Kai doesn't unlock his true potential by saving lloyd (he and the serpentine escaped before the tunnel in the volcano collapsed) but by protecting the entire ninja team from a nasty, fiery death in the erupting volcano.

At the junkyard confrontation with wu & the ninja he tells wu how bad of an uncle he has been and starts attacking them with his element. Wu is shocked that lloyd has powers and tries to convince him to join the ninja. Lloyd refuses.
