BLOG ARCHIVE/MOVE
Moving Loki to HERE and going to be making a fresh start with it. Over the next days/weeks I'll be slowly working on everything, however I am also moving out of my parent's house this week so that will take priority.

&. 𝐧𝐨𝐬𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬.
( dialogue prompts taken from nosferatu (2024), directed by robert eggers. feel free to edit and change as you seem fit. )
❛ come to me. ❜
❛ a guardian angel. a spirit of comfort. spirit of any celestial sphere. anything. hear my call. ❜
❛ you wakened me from an eternity of darkness. ❜
❛ you are not for the living. you are not for human kind. ❜
❛ and shall you be one with me ever-eternally? ❜
❛ come here. there’s nothing to be afraid of. ❜
❛ i wish i could stay, my love. ❜
❛ why have you killed these beautiful flowers? ❜
❛ i must tell you my dream. ❜
❛ i’d never been so happy as that moment… as i held hands with death. ❜
❛ i wish you to have all you deserve. ❜
❛ you mustn’t leave. i love you too much. ❜
❛ i will stay with you until you are fast asleep. ❜
❛ uh, forgive me. i only wish to stay one night. ❜
❛ by god’s name, never speak of that castle. ❜
❛ i banish you, i banish you with garlic. ❜
❛ beware of his shadow. ❜
❛ the shadow covers you in a nightmare. ❜
❛ you are late. the midnight hour has passed. ❜
❛ i wish you to do as i request. ❜
❛ i will be addressed as the honor of my blood demands it.❜
❛ speak not of it again! ❜
❛ take heed what you do. ❜
❛ i might ease your wound. ❜
❛ come by the fire. ❜
❛ your face shows you unwell. ❜
❛ do you ever feel at times as if you were not… as if you were not a person? ❜
❛ look at the sky. look at the sea. does it never call to you, urge you? ❜
❛ you are fortunate in your love. ❜
❛ now are we neighbors. ❜
❛ it is late. you must wish to retire. ❜
❛ i have been enduring the most irregular dreams. i fear i am taken ill. ❜
❛ it is a black omen to journey in poor health. you will remain and well rest yourself. ❜
❛ dream of me. only me. ❜
❛ oh, he’s coming to me. ❜
❛ i cannot resist you, my love. ❜
❛ i am no one. i am his servant. ❜
❛ look, this is a pretty one. his lordship likes the pretty ones… ❜
❛ you are lost in his shadow. ❜
❛ soon i will no longer be a shadow to you. ❜
❛ soon our flesh shall embrace and we shall be as one. ❜
❛ i have not failed your lordship! ❜
❛ embrace me, my boy. i am so rejoiced to see you. ❜
❛ my dear creature, yes, i am he, and i am hither come to help you. ❜
❛ my dreams grow darker. ❜
❛ does evil come from within us or from beyond? ❜
❛ i shall persist to join you every night… first in sleep, then in your arms. ❜
❛ everything will be mixed with abomination, and you’ll be knee-deep in blood. ❜
❛ you are promised to me! ❜
❛ i will end this plague. this devil. ❜
❛ he hasn’t found you. ❜
❛ i feared i’d never see you again. ❜
❛ you shall crave of me nothing. ❜
❛ the bells of dawn shall toll in despair of my coming. and i shall taste of you. ❜
❛ pray, forgive me for all the troubles i have caused you. ❜
❛ i am only glad you have become yourself again. ❜
❛ may i… stay with you tonight? ❜
❛ this creature is a force more powerful than evil. it is death itself. ❜
❛ i have seen things in this world that would’ve made isaac newton crawl back into his mother’s womb. ❜
❛ i have wrestled with the devil as jacob wrestled the angel in peniel. ❜
❛ if we are to tame darkness, we must first face that it exists. ❜
❛ i have felt you crawling like a serpent in my body. ❜
❛ love is inferior to you. ❜
❛ i told you, you are not of humankind. ❜
❛ i am an appetite. nothing more. ❜
❛ i lay within the darkest pit. till you did wake me, enchantress, and stirred me from my grave. ❜
❛ you are my affliction. ❜
❛ i care nothing of your afflictions. ❜
❛ yet even now we are fated. ❜
❛ your passion is bound to me. ❜
❛ you cannot love. ❜
❛ yet i cannot be sated without you. ❜
❛ remember how once we were? ❜
❛ i abhor you. ❜
❛ i will leave you three nights. tonight was the first. ❜
❛ tonight you denied yourself, and thereby, you suffer me to vanish up the lives of those you love. ❜
❛ you revel in my torture. ❜
❛ upon the third night, you will submit, or he you call your husband shall perish by my hand. ❜
❛ till you bid me come shall you watch the world become as naught. ❜
❛ tell me, what is this insufferable darkness? ❜
❛ nothing you can say will shake me, for there is a devil in this world, and i have met him. ❜
❛ i’ve brought this evil upon us. ❜
❛ i sought company. i sought… tenderness, and i called out. ❜
❛ at first, it was sweet. i had never known such bliss. yet it turned to torture. ❜
❛ it was you that gave me the courage to be free of my shame. ❜
❛ he took me as his lover then, and now he has come back. ❜
❛ all my sleeping thoughts are of him every night. ❜
❛ don’t touch me! i am not to be touched. ❜
❛ i’ll be good. i promise. ❜
❛ you could never please me as he could. ❜
❛ yes! take me! ❜
❛ kiss me. kiss my heart. ❜
❛ let him see. let him see our love. ❜
❛ without you, i will become a demon. ❜
❛ you’re safe with me. ❜
❛ keep away from me. i am unclean. ❜
❛ he will murder you if i do not go to him. ❜
❛ kill him i will. he shall never harm you again. ❜
❛ i can weep no longer, for i have no more tears to shed. ❜
❛ the grim reaper wields his heavy scythe with every change of wind. ❜
❛ the monster left you to the wolves, yet you prevailed. ❜
❛ his pull to me is so powerful, so terrible, yet my spirit cannot be evil as his. ❜
❛ we must know evil to be able to destroy it. ❜
❛ you are our salvation. ❜
❛ i bid you, come to me. ❜
❛ your oath re-pledged. so too shall be our flesh. you are mine. ❜

Loki hummed quietly to himself. He had learned a lot in his time in the TVA and in his new role. Charles had explained some of the prejudice mutant kind faced, and Loki had sympathized but it wasn't until he had held their universe in his hand and truly seen the suffering they went through, had experienced it through their eyes that he'd truly understood what it was they faced. He would never try to compare his own suffering to theirs, but he did know what it was like to fight against prejudice views.
He had grown up being taught to hate the Jotnar of Jotunheim because they were monsters, he had been taught they were little more than beasts with little intellect and violent natures. He had never thought to question those beliefs because everyone he spoke to had them, even people from the other realms. So when he had discovered that he was in fact, one of those supposed monsters, it had devastated him. All that hatred had turned inwards, and he'd overcompensated for it by trying to destroy Jotunheim. He knew what he did was wrong, but there was still a part of him that didn't regret what he'd done. Stupid as it was, he'd thought if he got rid of the Frost Giants once and for all' not only would he be seen as a hero, but he would also be able to erase what he was and go back to being the Asgardian he'd believed he was.
Obviously that could never be, and he had—and still was—working on accepting his true heritage. But that was his situation, and he wasn't about to take focus away on Ororo's struggles to discuss his own. "You and others like you do not deserve the treatment you're given. If I could; I would make it so you wouldn't have to face such unfair and unjust prejudice." He didn't know if it was even possible for him to have that kind of influence, he'd never tried and he had promised he wouldn't play with people's lives the way He Who Remains had. People needed to have the free will to choose their own paths and live with the choices they made. No matter how tempting it might be to play puppet master and turn this universe into whatever he wanted, it wasn't his place to do so.
He hummed again. He understood her caution and it couldn't begrudge her for her skepticism, especially considering all she'd been through and the dangers she faced on a semi-regular basis. "I know words alone will probably not dissuade you from your suspicions, but if it helps I will swear an oath that I mean you, nor anyone else who calls this place a home any harm." He wasn't sure how to define what he and Charles had been. There had been...moments, but it would be a stretch to have ever called them an item. "And no, Charles and I are not exes." Anything that had happened between them had been spur of the moment, and whilst he had hoped for something more, nothing had ever come from it. "But to answer your previous question, I was merely hoping to visit. It's been some time; at least for me, since I was last here."
She regarded him and his words for a moment, mulling over them. He wasn't wrong. There was a time when she was thought to be some sort of wind goddess. And then she met Charles who cleared up a lot of misconceptions about what she truly were as a person. Perhaps she was no goddess ( and in truth, that was likely for the best ), but being a mutant came with its own share of burdens too. Worship had turned into fear and hatred, but regardless of that, it wasn't enough to make her go back home. She was in this fight for the long haul.
"Yeah, well over here it's not quite like that." She paused. "No matter what they thought of me in Kenya or Wakanda, over here I'm just another mutant to hate and fear."
She watched his body language, her keen gaze searching for any signs of potential betrayal. It was only when she had given him a proper once over would she drop her defensive posture, hands falling by her side. She was still on guard, but her body language was no longer poised for a fight. She figured she'd take Charles' route and give the guy a chance. Worst case scenario? They end up killing each other if it came to it.
"I have a hard time trusting strangers, especially men but I'm willing to hear you out." She paused. "If you ain't here to cause trouble then why are you here? Far as I know, Charles hasn't mentioned any drop ins from a god. We don't get many visitors either. His telepathy keeps people from randomly dropping in so... you been here before? Ya'll exes or something?"
And it might have seemed a strange question to ask Loki whom she'd never seen before at the mansion, but Charles was such a private man. It was AGES before she realized Erik and Charles were old flames. Then there was Stephen, but she couldn't quite figure out what their deal was. And now here was Loki whom she always assumed was involved in some great epic romance with Sif, or so went the tales, but his whole appearance was odd to say the least. It was giving off all sorts of red flags, especially since he claimed he didn't mean any harm.

I know I've been quiet on here, most of it has been down to severe chronic fatigue hitting me so apologies for that
However I will probably be MIA for at least a week if not more. Trigger warning below for pet death
We had to take my dog to the vets yesterday as he was crying in pain. They gave us painkillers and anti-inflamatories as there was a slight swelling on his tail and we wanted to try that before looking to do xrays
However he majorly went downhill overnight. I've been awake lying next to him just trying to give him comfort but he was suddenly unable to stand any more. So we rushed him for emergency vets and basically he had a collapsed spine from what they could see (him unable to stand, dragging his back legs etc)
There was an option to go to a specialist for MRIs and spinal surgery but it was way out of what our insurance would cover and it would cripple us financially to pay it out of pocket. So we had to make the decision to put him to sleep.
This was my baby. My constant companion, he helped ground me when I was overwhelmed or overstimulated. He was the craziest, most loving best boy in the world and the pain I am feeling is like nothing else. I was with him holding him in my arms as he went, the others in my family couldn't face it, but I couldn't let him face it alone.
Obviously i beyond devastated. He was my best friend and my baby. So I don't know when I will be back. If I am around I may be selective based on what muse I have. Please be patient with me

Loki wasn't a fool. He knew what Charles's stance and feelings on the matter were. Whether it be because he undersold his own part in helping Loki, or because he believed Loki was the one who'd done the real work didn't matter. There had been a sickness in his mind, the influence of a cosmic force used for malicious purposes had been so deeply woven into his mind, that he couldn't unravel it alone. It had sunk its talons into him, and one person's power would never have been enough to fully rid him of it's influence. Perhaps in time, he might have been able to free himself. Maybe that's what the original Loki had done, but as a variant, he'd not had the luxury of time. Charles had helped guide him along the path to his freedom, revealing which memories were false or had been twisted and needed to be unpicked, and which could be left alone.
Thanos had taken so much from him. It had truly shocked him, and still did when he'd realized just how far the Titan had gone to further twist Loki against the world. He'd turned ire into fury, pain into hatred and despair into a need for revenge. Loki had never wanted to hurt people, he'd done it because he thought he'd had to. Growing up, he was told he had to be a warrior, even when he'd chosen to focus more on magic he was still expected to go into battle. Then, Thanos had turned him into a villain, and he'd played that role perfectly, because the Titan had made him believe that was his glorious purpose. He had thought if he was the very thing everyone already believed him to be, then he wouldn't feel so small and afraid.
He had been wrong of course to believe that. Loki saw that now. He didn't have to be what anyone else expected him to be, he could be something more, something better. Someone who deserved the friends he had, and was worthy of their love and support. It was why making the sacrifice to become the anchor for the multiverse had been such an easy one. He wanted his friends to live, even if it meant they lived without him in their lives.
❝ In my culture, we believe that the Norns weave our destinies, a carefully woven tapestry that determines who we will be. ❞ Round and round their lives would go, with Ragnarok supposedly ending and resetting everything so they could begin again. Evidently that wasn't the case, but Loki had seen far too much in his life to discount their existence as a mere story. ❝ Be it the Norns, or the variant of a conqueror, my path had been paved for me, and like a rat in a maze I followed. ❞ He could have refused, he could have turned his back on what 'He Who Remains' had planned for him. But then it would mean all of the timelines would end, and Loki wasn't selfish enough to let that happen. All other choices would have ended with trillions on trillions of lives dying. It was a masterful move on He Who Remains' part, one that he couldn't help but admire.
Using a simple spell, he refilled his cup of tea and sipped at it whilst he listened to Charles tell him how things had been. Loki wished he could unburden Charles of some of the pain and sadness he carried with him. He'd come to care for the mutant, as a friend, perhaps something more, but nevertheless, he wanted Charles to be happy. If he could, he would wave his hand and make it so. But free choice had been taken from so many who'd gone against the 'sacred' timeline, and he was not going to let that continue. ❝ Has it truly only been a few months? ❞ It was so hard to tell how much time passed in the real world, especially when he'd time slipped back and forth for thousands of years. ❝ I wasn't even aware you had a son. ❞ He'd tried to not look at too many of the Charles variants, it would feel like too much of an invasion of the man's privacy; even if the variants were their own people. ❝ I know a little of what it's like for everyone to have an expectation of you. But Charles, you are a good man, and a good leader. But you can only be the kind of leader you want to be, not what others want. ❞ Otherwise you'd always be set up to fail.
Charles supposed this was simply one topic they would never fully agree on, because as far as Charles was concerned, he didn't do much at all to help Loki. Oh certainly they had their fair share of mind sessions, each one more complex than the other, but a person's mind that was filled with trauma was not so easily fixed by a telepath. Rearranging a mind to help them forget was one thing, but what Loki accomplished was a feat that was more him than the telepath he commissioned. But he decided to leave it be. All in all, Loki seemed fine and at the end of the day, that had always been the end goal.
"That's good to hear." He sipped his coffee although Loki's words that followed brought about a slight look of confusion. Purpose and destiny... Those were words he hardly dwelled on anymore. One could say over a decade of bad experiences had turned him into quite the cynic when it came to such things. But Loki was a god and therein lied a huge difference in the things that influenced their beliefs, particularly as it pertained to one's purpose.
"I'm probably not one to ask about such things. The cynic in me cannot wrap my head around some preordained destiny." He paused. "But I am not dismissing it entirely. I can only speak of my experiences and not your own."
He looked down at his drink trying to decide how he felt. He supposed he was fine; no longer utterly crushed and depressed by the departure of a certain someone. And he had a grumpy guard dog named Logan to thank for most of that. Still, there was a huge part of him that could no longer let his guard down enough to be the guy Logan wanted him to be; that hopeful, naive soul that supposedly changed a lot of lives in another timeline. The very idea made Charles laugh inside. He simply couldn't imagine an era where he was content with how things played out. And people looking up to him again? Like some mutant god? Laughable at best, but... at least the school was somewhat open again. It was a small start but a start all the same.
"I guess I am as I've always been." He shrugged. "Not much has changed in the months that have gone by. I've been looking after my son and a few other children who are here now. Logan's been hovering, but I think it's because he fears I may fall off the deep end again. I guess I can't blame him, but... I'm not trying to be Professor X. At least not the one he wants me to be. I don't want half of the mutant population looking to me to lead them. A great deal of good it did the first time around so... I guess you could say I'm happily playing daddy. Or something like that."

@somethingxgreater
He nearly jumped out of his skin when he felt a hand on his shoulder, waking him up from his sleep. He didn't even remember closing his eyes. Norns, how long had he been awake for now? Mobius was right on the mark when he'd told him; however long ago it was, that time moved differently in the TVA. There wasn't really a day or a night, time just didn't pass at all, so Loki couldn't tell if he'd been awake for a day, or for weeks. It certainly felt like it was the latter. He'd gone without sleep for longer than that, it had been one of the many methods Thanos had used to break him, but oddly, he actually felt the effects of exhaustion around Mobius. Not because he was boring, no, he would never think that about Mobius. It was because he actually felt safe enough to sleep around the man, which had the knock on effect of his body then realizing just how much sleep he'd missed out on.
❝ Mobius. ❞ Rubbing his eyes, he sat himself up and quickly tidied up his appearance. ❝ How long have I been asleep for? ❞ Whilst he felt safe being asleep around Mobius, he still worried about other people. Even if his standing had improved around the TVA, he knew that a lot of it's members still disliked him and saw him as nothing more than a chaotic and dangerous variant. The last thing he needed was for anyone to think he was lazy as well.

@stilltheworstwolverine liked for a starter
For the love of the Norns. What on earth had Paradox been doing? He thought the TVA would be safe under the careful watch of his friends but no. Somehow they'd allowed that idiot to nearly destroy an entire timeline, all because he had been following the same narrow sighted and brainwashed thinking of Renslayer's TVA. What was the point of allowing the multiverse to grow and flourish if men like Paradox were still going to try and prune them?
How was he supposed to guard the timelines if he couldn't trust others to protect them? It took a great deal of energy to split himself between his seat at the center of the multiverse and a timeline, but what choice did he have? If it weren't for the actions of Wade Wilson and James 'Logan' Howlett then Cassandra would have destroyed not one universe, but multiple. He had a lot to thank them for, and whilst he probably could leave the thanking to B-15 and co, he wanted to offer his own personal gratitude for their actions.
Materializing inside the home Logan was currently occupying, he looked around to see where the man was. Although he held all the timelines together and could look into them, the details weren't always there. It was a...nice enough place, for what it was. He was glad Logan had found somewhere, and although technically he should be in his own universe, Loki wasn't going to enforce anything. Despite what Paradox had complained, Logan wasn't an anchor being, as far as Loki was aware, there wasn't even such a thing as an anchor being. So if Logan wanted to stay, and there was no one back in his universe he would miss, then Loki would let him stay. If B-15 or the higher ups in the TVA had an issue with that, they could take it up with him.

’ there’s a better way to do this. ’
❝ How? ❞ He didn't ask because he doubted Sigyn. He never had, he never could. She was everything to him, and he trusted her council nearly as much if not on par with his mother's. ❝ I have analysed every angle and I cannot find another way forward. I feel like I have to do this, my father will not be happy if this dignitary doesn't get his way. ❞ Relations between Asgard and the Vanir were tense right now, and the emissary was making a steep demand. Loki had offered a way around it, one that wasn't exactly honorable, but it would mean not having to part with a powerful artifact. Unfortunately, if the trickery was discovered, it could make relations between their realms fall apart. ❝ Tell me my love, what should I do? ❞

’ why don’t any of you stop me when i get like that in front of the press? ’ ’ i like when you get all you. ’ ’ guard the package! don’t abandon your posts! ’ ’ i somehow always thought you were a myth. ’ ’ well, this was an eye-opener, i’ll tell you that. ’ ’ it’s gone! the package is gone! i told you people to guard it with your life! ’ ’ you don’t even know what it is! you couldn’t possibly know. ’ ’ triangulate our location and send everything you have. ’ ’ seven guards. all with semiautomatic rifles. ’ ’ i don’t like where this is going. ’ ’ at my funeral, will you get up and say something crazy awesome about my manhood? ’ ’ i’ve been thinking a lot about mortality lately. ’ ’ you and me out here in the middle of nowhere… ’ ’ be quiet or i will tell everyone at your funeral what your favorite movie is. ’ ’ because i know a lot of things about you, you know. ’ ’ i’m calling it in. ’ ’ we should wait for the others. ’ ’ can i ask you something without sounding disrespectful? ’ ’ add to this horror, the very real idea that there are others in the cosmos who have taken it upon themselves to protect you. ’ ’ your world is home to powers and items of power that have no business on your planet. ’ ’ is this a real grenade launcher? ’ ’ you break it, you buy it. ’ ’ how much for all of it? ’ ’ i don’t know if you’re new to this, but this is the part where we accept your surrender. ’ ’ hey, you forgot to tip the waitress. ’ ’ he stole something shiny. ’ ’ he saw ____ overtake the convoy and steal something they were transporting. ’ ’ thing is, i contacted the army and they said there was no convoy. ’ ’ something we should have been able to knock out before bedtime, except they were there to sell this. ’ ’ is that what i think it is? ’ ’ this shouldn’t be in existence, let alone in play. ’ ’ they are playing the most dangerous game, and they have the power to back it up. ’ ’ we have the army covering up, we have lethan weapons of cosmic proportions as targets… ’ ’ until we know more, this stays between us in this room. all of us. no one else. ’ ’ ____, you need to find a hiding place for that. they are going to come after it. ’ ’ you do not let that package out in the open. ’ ’ yeah, yeah, how about you hand over what you stole and remember back all of two hours ago that it took only one of us to beat you all silly. ’ ’ did i miss the part where they told us who they are and what they’re up to? ’ ’ dude, you’re hurting my feelings. ’ ’ there’s a better way to do this. ’ ’ ____, we need a better plan. ’ ’ that’s the thing. we know everything about you and you don’t know a damn thing about us. ’ ’ you know, it’s probably best you not focus on that. just keep moving. think happy thoughts. ’ ’ they’re using a tech or power source we don’t have an angle on. ’ ’ thanks to the laws of sonic disruption, this will be the end of your power broadcast day. ’ ’ so, tell me, guys, who has the tech and the wherewithal to pull off this whole dog and pony show? ’ ’ let’s go! we’re not safe here! ’ ’ we have work to do. ’ ’ he doesn’t squeal. it’s against his religion. he’s not going to talk to you. ’ ’ we’ll play good cop/bad cop. ’ ’ we’re barely able to conjure the idea that there is a game and who the players are. we don’t know the rules of this game. ’ ’ first, we’re going to send all this intel back to ____ and tell him/her/them to tell everyone to hold on to their hello kitty backpacks and pray. ’ ’ i’m gonna turn this whole damn thing around. ’ ’ i’m working on a program to shut it down. ’ ’ should we put it to vote? ’ ’ that’s what we’re here for, as they say. ’ ’ they had to know we’d find out about this. they’d have to know someone would try and stop this. ’ ’ he oh so delightfully powered up a bunch of lackeys to get them to gather a bunch of high-powered items for him. ’ ’ and by gather i mean steal. ’ ’ ____, if you’re hurt, you say something. ’ ’ you don’t have to act tough. everyone knows how tough you are. ’ ’ damn them, it’s getting harder and harder to figure out who the good guys are. ’
