Eclipse watchers squint through protective filters as they view an eclipse of the sun from the top deck of New York City's Empire State Building, 1932.

Idk something about people from out of town coming to see the eclipse and everyone coming outside and looking up and pointing at the shadows and updating each other on how much time there is until totality and sharing glasses and warning strangers to not look at the sun without them. Disorganized (aka fearful-avoidant) attachment style is overanalyzing/overcorrecting when you think your partner might be pulling away from you, but then pulling away from them when they draw close to you.
It is both craving AND fearing intimacy so deeply that you grip people tight in your hands lest they leave you, but keep them at an arms length lest they love you.

They are also exceptionally rare, though they really are a case of quality over quantity. As luck would have it, there was such an event just yesterday across Mexico, the US, and Canada. Yesterday, it was that very every now and then. And it was yesterday, wearing our CE and ISO-Certified Eclipse Glasses, that the sun disappeared behind the moon. And it was at that moment that we fell apart, naturally.
