So, I think it could have been Jessica that killed Marion, accidentally. Bethany was witness. So Jessica covered it up and then spent time with Bethany as a bribe to keeping her quiet. Bethany then discovered Mary and found out that Mary was Charles' mother and also the reason that Mary was in Radley and Jessica wasn't and that Jessica was lying the whole time about everything. So she left to hurt Jessica, Mona hit her, Melissa buried her alive etc.
