So my housemate just said 'I'm thinking of getting a tattoo of the word 'Imagine', the song by The Beatles. I love that song'
No. That song was NOT sang by The Beatles. That song was sang by John Lennon, and if you loved that song enough to have it tattoo'd on to your body, you would know that.
Do not have lyrics to a song tattoo'd on your body if you don't even know who sang the goddamn song.
