born and raised in miami, emira's childhood was smooth sailing. by the time she was old enough to talk, her grandparent’s small restaurant had become a successful restaurant chain that was inherited by her parents

this allowed her family to be well off enough to pay private school fees and have a sizable college fund for their three children

but that didn't mean she grew up spoiled. she was raised to have a good head on her shoulders and make something of herself. she would often part time at their restaurant as a waitress for some extra cash

she was well liked at school and easily moved between social circles without staying in one for too long. she was charming and had a way with words that made it easy for her to make friends

she went to college for broadcasting journalism and joined her local college tv station. it was there she found her calling 

she slowly gained enough experience to host her first local radio talk show. her desire to further her career would help her move up the ladder in the radio station and, after years of hard work, she landed an opportunity anchoring the local newscasts 

after being proposed to, in the name of love ( and her desire to create a family ) she left her job and loved ones to relocate to another state
