Hello, followers of my very inactive account. Some troubles in the past few months have really taken a lot out of my motivation in a lot of areas. Some of them have been with the computer I play on, and others have been with family. It's been a crazy roller-coaster of good and bad these past 6 months alone, and I've really been focusing on my life a lot more than a simulation. Cause let's face it, my life has been almost as dramatic as some of my Sims in the past few months. I almost wish I could make it into a gameplay video but that would be kinda traumatic and a little too personal lol. Not sure why Tumblr thinks I'm 4, can someone explain these things? Maybe I'll get back to posting Sims content when I redownload The Sims 4 on my NEW laptop, since the one I bought broke after only owning it for a few months... UGH. Now I have to redownload ALL of my MODS... the real ones know the struggle. I mean sure, it's fun to go on CC hauls, but don't tell me it exhausting too, cause yeah, it is.

My Sims have been acting kinda mean to each other, for no apparent reason. Especially one of my happy couples. (They should feel lucky, not many of my Sims get to be this happy.) Has anyone noticed this too? Do you think it was the new patch update, or maybe a mod I installed?

In other news: Only 2, maybe 3 of them were real. 😂

I've been watching some gameplay videos on my phone to cure my boredom and I just got some ideas

Here are 5 Devious Ways to Make Money in The Sims 4 Base Game:

Kleptomaniacs! Steal it and sell it baby!

Be a bad friend. Ask a Sim to move in with you, move in their whole household and take all of their money, then leave them homeless with some random townie.

Hostages! Once again, form a strong bond with a Sim and get them to move in with you. You can take their money, but you can also lock them in a basement with just an easel, a toilet, a bed, a sink, and a microwave. Why work when you can force your friends to work for you? Or even your family members! If your captive is musically inclined or gifted at literature, you can have them write songs and books, and take all their royalties. 😈

Become a Sugar Baby! Ok well romance isn't needed for this one, but it could spice things up. Get your charisma to level 3, and you can ask for small loans, (a few hundred) but get it to level 9, and you can ask for large loans! (a few thousand) They'll expect you to pay them back, but there's really nothing they can do to force you. If you don't want the Sims you owe to be pissy that you haven't paid them back, just don't ever talk to them again. Or, invite them to your house for a nice little chat. Bring them an unused room (not the kitchen), lock them in, and let them starve.

The Black Widow Challenge. I'm sure most of you have heard of this challenge before, but for those who haven't, or don't know what it entails, the goal is to widow your way to the top, by marrying, and killing off Sim households, one at a time. Preferably if they're rich.

I'm trying to get a couple packs while they're on sale but my computer is broken, I hope they stay on sale for a few more days. 🤞

(Friendly reminder not to spend 40 dollars on a pack, they're expensive enough even on sale 😅)

Happy New Year Everyone!🥂🎉 I hope this year treats us well. I hope to be more active, but it's not a top priority. I need to prioritize education over the Sims, it's killing me. 😅

I lost motivation on my Halloween Sims, but with Wednesday trending, if anyone wants to see my Addams family Sims, or my Tim Burton Sims, I'll show them off.

I couldn't do any Simming for Christmas cause my cOmPuTeR was BrOkEn over the Holidays Season. (It still is but I'm gonna get myself a birthday gift, aka a new laptop)

Oh, and for anyone who would like to know my birthday is in 6 days, on the 8th. I'll be turning 20. (Yes I know, a young Simblr 😂)

Create chaos in your Sim’s lives...

I have a spin the wheel challenge, everything should be base game, it would be best to start with an adult or young adult, and probably not best to start with a family you've already created (although by all means, I would love to see you do it, if you dare)

Basically, you spin the wheel, and you it tells you what your Sim has to do.

They might gain some useful skills from this, and they might even start a family!

OR, they might make A LOT of Lovers & Enemies, or just make their lives complicated overall....

Another Sims related hack, how many of you know that the Sims sometimes translates actual songs into Simlish? I'm sure that's quite a few of you.

Now that that's out of the way, have you ever heard a song that sounds familiar in Simlish but you can't make out where you heard it before?

I found out Shazam (it's a free app) recognizes Simlish Songs!!! (sometimes) Either way, I'll definitely be using it! 😂

Maybe you already knew this, but I just found the fastest way to make money in The Sims 4... (and possibly other games as well??) It's base game and it's TECHNICALLY not cheating...

Just make sure you have room for roommates!

Step 1: Have your Sim introduce themselves to someone. (Preferably Friendly)

Step 2: Take about 20 selfies with them. (Most of you probably know the selfie hack for building friendships) You'll have to say 2-3 nice things to them first, and then you'll be able to take selfies with them. Once it's available, that's 4 times you'll need to open up your phone and take all 5 selfies.

(By then, your friendship with this Sim should be maxed. If it's not, just say a few nice things and you're probably set. Even go for another round of selfies if you'd like.)

Step 3: Ask them to move in with you, it's pretty much guaranteed they'll say yes.

Step 4: Moving the entire household in, take all of their money and sell all of their furniture.

Step 5: Enjoy your money! You can get filthy rich off of this! Oh, and bonus, did I mention you can sell the pictures too?

Step 6(?): Don't want them in your house? Never fear! Just go into manage worlds, and move all the unwanted sims out of your house and into someone else's household, so you don't have to pay. This time, of course, instead of taking everything, leave them with nothing.

It's actually a pretty mean thing to do, but your stupid Sims will never realize that! ☺️🤦‍♀️😅

Well it's been a week since Halloween and... I didn't do any challenges but I did make the Addams Family, and Jack & Sally from Nightmare before Christmas, and Victor, Victoria & Emily from the corpse bride.... but unfortunately my computer wasn't working on Halloween, or the next few days either, so now that it is working again expect for me to be showing them off soon. 😅

I have all kinds of mods in this list, from game mods, to custom clothing, to custom furniture, to reshades & gshades and CAS rooms and more! There's also lookbooks and how-to's! Basically just about everything for The Sims 4!

I haven't vetted everything yet however, and while most of the Custom Content I've either tested or are from creators I trust, there may be a few spotty issues.

A. failing my college math test that I did last minute but I actually tried hard on

B. my Sims stalling and not doing anything I tell them, plus some weird glitch that wouldn't let them get married or woohoo, and when I finally thought I got them to elope, my sim dying from laughter when she wasn't even playful.

Y'all probably don't care, but it was B. My Sims. And I'm seriously starting to reconsider my life choices. 😂😭
