Seeing people say "wait TTPD is growing on me" is soooo frustrating because how could you ever think you're going to form a fully-fledged opinion on a new piece of music after listening to it once???? Our culture of instant gratification is ruining us.

All the hermits know prank wars, one way or another. They know it's all in good fun and how far is too far.

Joel however... His experience with prank wars was Crazy Craft. Lizzie sent beavers to eat his treehouse. There was no 'too far' back then. So now the others have to teach him hermitcraft prank war etiquette before he ends up burning someone's entire base down. (he wouldn't do it intentionally, but he would set fire to something and not stop it spreading)

He did in fact try, and then became very disappointed fire wasn't spreading. It was around then that the Hermits had to explain their lines around 'pranking' and 'griefing'.

They made it into a date night, with practical demonstrations, accompanied by cleaning up anything that crossed too far into griefing.

Anyone else have the issue of "I really wanna go outside but there's nothing to DO outside because I can't go anywhere cause I can't drive and I can't walk anywhere because we live on a very busy/dangerous street AND I DONT HAVE A GODDAMN SWING IN MY BACKYARD BUT I WANNA GO OUTSIDE!"

How do you fix that???

unsung benefit i think a lot of ppl are sleeping on with using the public library is that i think its a great replacement for the dopamine hit some ppl get from online shopping. it kind of fills that niche of reserving something that you then get to anticipate the arrival of and enjoy when it arrives, but without like, the waste and the money.

This album is about how two men broke her heart just months apart and how she was quite literally going through a mental breakdown while trying to put on a front while performing for millions of people on a world tour but you wouldn’t know that because you’re either so caught up in trying to figure out who each song is about or your so caught up in your hate for her that you’d rather make fun of her in her most vulnerable, raw, and honest state just to make yourself feel better

Honestly one thing I really wish I saw more of in the Trafficblr/Hermitcraft fandom is Grian with brown eyes.

Grian’s “beady, soulless black eyes” have been a running joke for a long time- but people still often draw him with green/yellow/red (traffic life) or purple (watchers) or any number of eye colors.

But here’s the thing. I have brown eyes. I’ve received those exact same comments thousands of times about my eyes, how “soulless” and voidlike they are and that people can’t tell my eye color, especially in photos.

I know a lot of people online make posts about “honey brown” or brown eyes in lighting, but I think we need more representation of brown eyes so brown they’re black. He’s the perfect blorbo for this in my opinion- he’s LITERALLY the phrase “looks at you with my big brown eyes”

At some point in your life, you were taught that being slightly annoying is an unforgivable sin. Maybe it was by your parents or a teacher or a friend or a bully or an older sibling. But someone taught you that being slightly annoying is a crime punishable by death.

You must unlearn this.

i know i'm like half a year late to the party but i FINALLY watched through the last bit of the secret life series and i know everyone's already pretty much in agreement that scar's celestial symbol is earth (at least, i assume, bc that is all i have seen used) but i wanted to point out because i haven't seen it anywhere-- besides just the vibe-matching, it also would make sense that scar would be the earth because of lunar eclipses, which happen specifically because the earth blocks out the light of the moon.
