Visual Cleansing

Spoon Level Low

Time To Complete up to you

Feeling amped up about the state of your room or house?  Feeling a bad vibe, but don’t have the juice to smite it?  This one’s for you!

Get comfy; sit or lie down.  Grab a blanket if you want. (I get cold while meditating.)

Close your eyes, focus on your breaths (my fave is the anti-anxiety approach; long breath in, hold for a few seconds, long & slow exhale).

When you feel calm or readied (whichever works for you!) visualize the room (or house) you seek to cleanse.  (If you want or find it helpful, imagine it filling with smoke or mist and clearing as you cleanse away.)

Repeat the cleansing in your mind

“Earth, fire, water, air

no negativity is welcome here

this space is cleansed

this space is free

it is my will and it will be !”

Repeat the phrase until you feel better.  If you want to change words or rewrite this, that’s fine too!

Energy-cleansing Body Scrub

Excellent for Samhain Rituals or any other moment you need to detox from any bad luck or stagnation. This Protection Body Scrub not only helps to exfoliate and renew old skin but to help optimal blood circulation. Renovating flesh and spirit, coffee serves as the stimulant and astringent, the salt scrubs the filth (physical and spiritual), and the Olive Oil nourishes by moisturizing the skin and anointing the spirit with divine protection.

INGREDIENTS:

- Coffee grounds 

It has detoxifying, energizing properties. Is identified as a stimulant in spells and potions, and it also has protective, banishing and grounding properties.

- Salt

It’s related to the Sea Deity like Poseidon, Yemanja, or the like. You can charge the salt asking for its cleansing properties to your favorite Sea Deity. This is for Sea Salt. If, you’re using a more earthly based salt like say “Himalayan”, it will be in relation to Earth deities. But it mostly depicts the relation between Earth and Sea. It has Cleansing properties, Traps negative energy.Why?

- Extra Virgil Olive Oil

Ancient use for anointing. Symbolizes peace, protection, Fire/Solar/Active Energy. It has: Lust, Fertility, Potency, Male properties, and was used often in ancient times as a pleasing offering to the gods. 

INSTRUCTIONS:

- Anoint your Olive oil, by offering it to your favorite Solar Masc./Fem Deity (like Athena or Apollo) and leave it in contact with sunlight through Sunrise to Sunset. This is an optional first step, but it surely pumps it up.

- Take any container you wish to use to store the mix and throw all the ingredients together. Make sure to stir and mix through until you have a homogenous mix. It should look like moist soil.

- In the shower use this after or instead of soap or body wash. Grab a little into your palm and scrub from head to toe. Be sure to be gentle when scrubbing your face, do not use in the genital area. Then rinse it with water.

Remember: always before a spell or any witchy practice, be sure to visualize your intent. The intention given is the real energy that will fuel your spell and make it real.

Banishing Water

I recently had to deal with a malevolent house spirit in my new home (I believe it was a Sluagh), so I used this water to expel it from the area.

Ingredients:

Tap water (it can be any kind of water, but tap is especially good)

Salt 

Black Pepper 

Honey (the honey is meant to keep benevolent spirits safe from the water)

A small branch from the nearest tree to your back door

Directions:

Add the water, salt, pepper, and honey to a container, and stir counterclockwise using the small branch.

Walk through your house with the container of water, and use the branch to brush the walls and doorways (especially the doorways) with the water.

Finish by brushing water on the front door and any other exits besides the back, then exit through the back door and pour the water on the ground in a semicircle.

Done!
